The banh mi here is insanely good and everyone that works here is super nice. I don't have a picture so you just have to trust me

Found this adorable cafe while walking around the area! The cafe was super cozy with people were working, reading, or enjoying the vibes. A couple of people were having the matcha and had to try it for myself! Sadly it didn’t live up to expectations, as it was super milky :( Otherwise, the staff were super lovely and atmosphere was great. I would have stayed longer and had food if there was better matcha.

Its warm on a hot day but the drinks are fanastic. Loved the pandan matcha and the chae siu bahn mi. The taste on the chocolate hocjicha cookie was light and not too sweet. Besides the heat inside the seating is cozy and great for conversation or a nice cozy view of the k-town.

Google
Can be hard to find seating and I think with the way they make the food sometimes the room can feel a little smoky? But the banh mi sandwich I had with mixed meats was great and I would come again.

I grabbed a flat white quickly before i went to the hair salon. The vibe of the cafe was pretty nice, it seems like a vietnamese cafe. Would love to come back!

Tried the bahn mi and coffee pandan - both were great. The spicy sauce in the bahn mi especially was **chefs kiss**

I visited on Sunday at 11 AM for a cup of cappuccino, and it was amazing! The coffee was rich and flavorful, just how I like it. I also loved the vibes—great atmosphere and a cozy place to relax. Highly recommend!

I love the Vietnamese iced coffee, very authentic and delicious. I also enjoyed the meatball banh mi here, so good so far. Another highlighted point is the greenery ambience of the shop, makes it so comfortable to sit and chill.

The matcha pandan latte is phenomenal. I think about it at least once a week. Also really enjoyed their bahn mi sandwich. Kind of a small space so not much room for dining in

Yelp
I've been going to Rustle and Still for several years for a quick treat and to read. It's a nice spot to catch up with friends or to be alone. Lots of plants add to the ambiance. There are different banh mi options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The cafe also offers ube and pandan-flavored beverages, which I have yet to see at any downtown cafe. I come to Rustle and Still to read or work in a cozy spot while enjoying a matcha latte. Accessibility: Fast Wi-Fi, stairs up to the cafe, and close to Bathurst subway station.

Yelp
Rustle and Still is one of my favourite cafe in Toronto. Located in Koreatown, this gem is the perfect spot serving delicious drinks and classic Vietnamese food. Staff have always been friendly and prompt with service. The ambiance is airy, light filled and decorated with murals. Although it can get quite busy in here and hard to grab seats, taking your order to go is better.

Yelp
you neeeed to try their matcha pandan latte!! it is the perfect sweetness for me and the pandan flavour really shines. I would say the viet coffee is not the best i've tried so i would definitely go with their lattes if you're here. i love asian food options at a cafe and their banh mi really satisfied the craving. the mayo dressing was scrumptious but the meat was a little on the dry end. I would definitely return here for a study session and enjoy all the greenery then have going on in here!

Yelp
Oh man, I first got to try this cafe's offerings during the pandemic when they offered home delivery all the way to Richmond Hill. Since then, I have been dreaming about the day when I can drink their delicious drinks, and eat their amazing food again. Literally been waiting years to find a reason to visit, and despite it taking me an hour, and a half to transit my way down there, totally worth it :D The cafe seems to be quite popular even on a weekday as when my friends, and I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon, the cafe was packed. We managed to get a seat as a table was getting up to leave just as we placed our order. Luckily, if the cafe truly is full, this place's takeout game is strong as heck as everything they offer can be ordered to go. Make sure to download their app too as you get a free cookie just for having downloaded the app! -[PURPLE SWEET POTATO LATTE] $6.00 (7/10) I ordered this because I don't recall this being a drink option for their 1L bottled drinks when they did home delivery a few years ago. It was served warm which let me drink it just a few minutes after it was made aka yay because I normally have to wait almost 30 minutes for hot drinks to come down to a consumable temperature for me. It was sweetened perfectly, but I did find the drink to be grainy likely because of what they utilize to flavor the latte? -[1L MATCHA PANDAN LATTE] $17.50 (10/10) I freaking looooove the flavor of pandan - tastes a tad florally, with hints of vanilla. Those flavors paired with matcha are PERFECTION :) The 1L bottle easily let me enjoy three cups of this drink at home which honestly just made me start planning when I should next visit again :') -[SAVORY DANISH] $5.00 (10/10) This made out of a puff pastry base with house-made chicken liver pâté, ham, a sunny side up egg, and scallion oil all to top it. This was so freaking flakey, and flavorful. I swear their food, and drinks always leave me wanting to have ordered maybe 10 of everything so I could continuously just enjoy it T__T

Yelp
My girlfriend added locations to visit while we were in Toronto and all of them happened to be cafes. I'm not a cafe connoisseur but I can appreciate a good coffee. We stepped in and the cafe is small but the staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is warm. This is a fantastic start to the day! I ordered the viet coffee, pandan croissant, and my girlfriend ordered the matcha pandan latte. The viet coffee was just as standard as any viet coffee but that doesn't mean anything bad. It's exactly what I was craving and exactly what I got; I'm content. But let me tell you about the pandan croissant, in hindsight, if I could have them shipped back across the states, I would. The crispy flaky croissant paired with a sweet pandan spread? Wow, we need more of this. I'd be perfectly content with buying an entire box! Now let's talk about the matcha pandan latte. Again, I'm not a coffee connoisseur but I'm glad my girlfriend ordered this because after a taste, I stole some more from her cup because it was that good. There's a wonderful balance between the matcha, pandan, and overall sweetness. You can actually taste the pandan and matcha, I'm blown away. Neither component was too strong and it just felt like a perfectly cohesive drink! All in all, the perfect service and food left a great impression. I'm glad we picked Rustle and Still as the first place during our short visit. We'll be back again!

Yelp
Phenomenal cafe. Just how a cafe should be. Independent and with variety of resources. Open expression with honest information on human rights that must be supported. Great service and customisations. Amazing veggie food and coffee. Sell services and items by local creators and artists. Well decorated and green!

Yelp
The coffee is good and the sandwiches are nice but service isn't great and the bathrooms are pretty rough. There are several seating options but it's not ideal if you're more than 3 people I'd say.

Yelp
My friend really likes coming here to get food to-go and she wanted to try eating in for once so I tagged along on a Friday at noon. Food: Based on the recommendation from the staff who has been eating this particular dish for lunch the past number of days, I got the beef skillet. This breakfast dish was protein-rich and super filling, I almost couldn't finish it but left some bread behind (don't bite me). The eggs were scrumptious - they had that great quality taste. The beef was beefy and the sausage was plump and juicy. The blocks of cheese reminded me of the Laughing Cow which brought some childhood nostalgia for me. This dish makes for a good shareable with one other person. I also got a purple sweet potato latte and it tasted like just the vegetable in latte form! Service & atmosphere: The staff here are really sweet. I was waiting around for my friend, ordered ahead, and was able to request the beef skillet to be prepared a little later. When you are ready for them to cook your meal, you just go up to them to let them know. There is wifi available and a customer washroom! The cafe does get packed rather quickly when I was there so I got lucky getting my friend and I seats.

Yelp
this Cafe is really cute and the atmosphere is perfect for studying! I got the sweet potato latte because it we so unique. I love the color, it was so interesting and the flavor was pretty good. I also got the hojicha cookie which I really liked the dark flavor. the color was my favorite, I really enjoyed the unique flavor!

Yelp
Rustle & Still Cafe - My Study Spot since 2018! From my university days to today, Rustle and Still by Bloor West has remained one of my go-to spots. It's incredible how this café has managed to maintain that same cozy vibe it had when it first opened back in 2018. First Impressions: Walking into Rustle and Still, you're immediately greeted by a sense of comfort. The café is filled with greenery and cute anime drawings that give it a unique and charming character. The interior design, featuring captivating murals, is a visual treat. While I regret not having photos to do justice to this place, fellow reviewers can vouch for the unmatched design and atmosphere Experience: The experience at Rustle and Still is consistently great! The service is top-notch, and the staff is genuinely friendly and accommodating. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack like a perfectly baked almond croissant or a hearty meal like their Bánh Mì served with a soothing cup of tea, Rustle and Still has you covered for any craving. Foods we tried: Almond Croissant: The almond croissant retained its delightful flavour and texture, delivering an awesome taste experience. Vietnamese Iced Coffee: The hype surrounding Vietnamese coffee is well-deserved. Rustle and Still's version lives up to its hype. I enjoyed it just as it was, without the need for additional sweeteners or syrups--a joy to sip. Overall: Rustle and Still is more than just a café; it's a Vietnamese-style haven worth exploring whenever you find yourself near Bloor and Bathurst. Whether you're seeking a cozy spot to study or simply unwind with fantastic food and drinks, Rustle and Still continues to impress. Don't miss the chance to experience it for yourself!

Yelp
The location ambiance needs refreshing. I was looking forward to trying their sandwiches and the images o Yelp looked great, of the food and location. However upon walking in I was very dissapointed with the surroundings. Think they are not bad but not in need of a renovation to match with their amazing food!

Yelp
Randomly discovered this hidden gem. The banh mi is super , so flavourful and portion is huge. Very generous on the toppings. Coffee is good and the hochicha cookie is delish. Can't wait to come back to try their other banh mi

Yelp
While on the hunt for coffee during my trip to Toronto, I Yelp-ed a few places. On my radar was Rustle & Still. and quoted some of the best coffee in town? Obvi, my friends & I had to put it to the test. And the verdict? The pandan matcha latte was no joke. Silky smooth, creamy & sweet enough to energy my day. And what I loved is that you can most definitely taste the notes of pandan AND matcha without one over-empowering the other. So yes, totally worth the trip! And the decor and plant-friendly vibes are another added plus to visiting rustle & Still!

Yelp
Excellent and consistent service! Tried their oat milk matcha pandan latte ($6.00+$0.7) and it was good but definitely on the pricier side. They make their pandan syrup in house and it definitely shines through. I also had their twice-baked sweet potato croissant ($5). Based on the mouthwatering description, it is a "twice-baked crispy and soft croissant with creamy purple sweet potato-coconut filling, drizzled with house-made condensed coconut milk and purple sweet potato, topped with shredded coconut." Sounds and tasted delicious warmed but I wished there was a stronger sweet potato flavour. I found these croissants are better than Bake Code's ube croissants. Rustle and Still is on the pricier side but I definitely recommend you drop by if you haven't tried their drinks.

Yelp
Rustle and Still is one of the top cafes in Toronto. Yelp Canada's Top 100 in 2019 and one of the top plant cafes in Canada/US! I probably tried the entire banh mi menu at this point, from dine in, take out, to delivery. Every time it's been great! If you're doing takeout/delivery, they are all well packaged and individually wrapped. My fav is the lemongrass chicken or the mixed lemongrass chicken/pork. They aren't your standard banh mis, they do it UP with generous ingredients, a twist on the traditional sandwich. If you like it spicy, it can get as INTENSE as you want it. Vegan/vegetarian? No problem. I love their hearty Bo Kho beef stew. Apparently they have a vegan/halal version of the dish... What?! If you're in the area, definitely worth checking out for the planty vibes and the additional treats they serve in the store. I tried their new cassava cake (gluten-free), a Filipino specialty, delish. They also sell other items beyond food in-store. I like their cute tote with all the popular Toronto coffee shops (including Rustle and Still). It's my go-to tote bag when I'm around town now. My only suggestion is that the mixed banh mi tag be labelled with "chicken and pork" instead of only checking off mixed. That way, if it's for catering and delivery for a larger group, others would know what type of meat is in there without asking the person who ordered.

Yelp
This is a pretty cute spot where you can eat and chill for a bit! I came here on the weekend and it's very busy! Seats get taken easily and it's not really like a cafe that you can study or work at! For the food I had the gochujang mushroom banh mi. I'm not vegan but this tasted so delicious! I love the flavours! For drink, I had the Hojicha latte! It was pretty good! It's what I expected and it was a warm drink! I also wanted to try the matcha cookies, but they sold out! I'll definitely come back and try the other stuff in the menu when I'm in the area!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience. The staff were really friendly, the menu was wonderful and there were even some lovely goods to buy. I got the panda and latte and it was the most perfect funky latte I've ever had in my life. Perfectly sweetened but not too sweet. Not to mention it was beautiful. I also got the shrimp banh mi sandwich and it was so yummy. The baguette was everything you wanted and baguette, crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned. The only thing I would change next time would be to get a spicier level. I was nervous medium might be hot but I think I could've got that easily. I can't wait to go back try more of their baked goods and try a different sandwich.

Yelp
My partner and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We originally came because of a Yelp Elite event where I got a free banh-mi and latte. We ordered another banh-mi and americano, as well as a cookie and had our dinner at the cafe. I had the new garlic shrimp banh-mi and my partner had the bbq pork. I had the sweet potato latte and the coconut pandan cookie. Both of the banh-mi's had a lot of protein, and had a lot of flavour. The buns were a little stale, but we did come closer to the end of the day. The sweet potato latte was delicious. Although I had regular milk, they ask before making it if you want a a different kind, so that was nice. The coconut pandan cookie was SO good. I had the last one, and wish there were more! I like that they have a little spot at the counter for fresh baked goods. They also had a sausage roll that looked tasty. I loved the look at the cafe. There's lots of spots to sit, and I loved all of the live plants everywhere. It was such a beautiful spot to hang. I could see myself enjoying a latte and cookie and just enjoying the scenery and people watching through the huge window looking onto Bloor St. Great friendly staff, and a little wall to buy some coffee related merch.

Yelp
Rustle and Still Cafe is now my go-to place for vegetarian / vegan banh mi. It has one of the best vegan banh mi out there. There are 2 vegan banh mi options: Gochujang Tofu Mushroom (with ginger-gochujang sauce) and Tofu Mushroom (with five-spice sauce). They pack a lot of tofu in each sandwich. The tofu slices are nice and firm, and I love the five-spice seasoning. You can customize the spice level for all banh mi, ranging from "no spice" to mild, medium, and hot. I think the tofu and mushrooms would've been great on a bowl of rice as well. The Tofu Mushroom Banh Mi comes with tofu & mushrooms marinated in five-spice sauce, walnut mushroom pâté, cucumber, shredded carrot, and cilantro. I love the blend of textures, including the crunch from the fresh veggies and firm tofu. The walnut mushroom pâté has a unique flavour that I really like. As a non-meat eater, it's nice to finally find a place that serves GOOD vegan banh mi with ingredients that are packed (they don't skimp on the tofu!), fresh, and flavourful. Heating the banh mi at home in an oven toaster gives the French bread a nice extra crunch on the outside. In addition to banh mi and other Vietnamese food items, they also have baked goods with Asian-inspired flavours (such as croissant with coconut and pandan paste) and a good selection of both hot and cold drinks (various tea, matcha pandan latte, Vietnamese iced coffee, etc.). TIP #1: This place usually gets packed fast, especially around lunch time. Try to come in the early morning or late afternoon if you're looking to avoid the crowd or long line-up. TIP #2: If you decide to get the banh mi to go and have an oven toaster at home, try toasting it for an extra crunchy bread exterior and deliciously warm sandwich. The interior of the cafe is bright and cozy due to the abundance of fresh plants and natural sunlight from the big windows overlooking Bloor Street West. It's a nice place to just hang out or get some work done. It feels very homey, airy, and sort of like you're in a greenhouse glass (from all the indoor greeneries / potted plants). Service is friendly and efficient. They have an area for Uber and other delivery pick-ups near the front door.

Yelp
Called for pick up at 1:30, their normally busy for lunch. Pandan Matcha Latte/Vietnamese Coffee, both hot, can't go wrong with either. You have the option for cold. Gochujang Braised Tofu Banh Mi was soooo flavourful. I was blown away. It was extremely saucy so definitely a two hander and expect a mess. There's Viet coleslaw? At first, I was a little skeptical - ain't no coleslaw in Banh Mi back in Vietnam. The black pepper vinaigrette elevated the shredded cabbage and carrots. Unreal. Garlicky Shrimpo Banh Mi was filled with massive shrimps. Also, super garlicky - that was a given, based on the item name. Also a fire Banh Mi. Well done. Y'all put a delicious twist on a mother land classic.

Yelp
Needed to find a place to wait before meeting up with friends and found this cute cafe. I bought the ube latte and substituted normal milk with coconut milk. The size was on smaller side but it was delicious! Clean, bright with lots of natural lighting, and cool decorations and plants Plenty of seating available when I went on Sunday mid-morning with a long bar seating at the front window which was perfect for people watching and looking for my friend.

Yelp
Best pandan latte ever!!! There have been some cafes in NYC that offer that and they just don't compare. You can actually taste the pandan here! SO good. I love that there are plants inside and you can chill and people watch. Didn't get to try their food, but next time!

Yelp
I'm so late in writing this review, but if you're in town, you simply can't miss this wonderful cafe! I was lucky enough to drop by before COVID-19 so I could really bask in the lovely atmosphere and enjoy my lunch indoors, but the food is delicious regardless even if you get it to-go. Let's start with decor. Although the shop is small, there's a ton of light and plants making it feel super refreshing and airy as soon as you step in. If you manage to get a window seat like I did, you can people watch while enjoying your food. The food... man, the food! I ordered the Banh Mi Skillet with the Matcha Pandan Latte and IT IS SOOO GOOD! The Banh Mi Skillet was PERFECT for a chilly day, and the bread was crispy and aromatic. The Matcha Pandan was just sweet enough - I love that you can actually taste the Matcha too! I definitely recommend this cafe if you ever need a pick me up, and am looking to visiting if I am ever in Toronto again!

Yelp
Had the char siu BBQ pork banh mi and Vietnamese coffee with coconut condensed milk. Oh man, both were so delicious! Great service, clean bathrooms. Delightful little find.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday morning and ordered a bunch of stuff. Glad I did since they have a pretty broad and tasty menu. We got: - Deluxe Rustle and Still Banh Mi: Easily the better banh mi of the two. Good amount of meat and veggies. The ham and roasted pork were really tasty, the chicken pate was a great base, and the bread was crusty-chewy as it should be. - Shrimp Banh Mi: Same props on the bread and veggies. A bit heavy on the mayo though, and the shrimp was not at all garlicy. Maybe I should have asked for a higher spice level... - Beef Brisket Stew: Highlight of the meal. The beef was tender and tasty, the broth was super flavourful, and the side baguette was perfect for dipping. A bit pricey though for the size. - Mushroom Walnut Pate: We were wondering what this tasted like and they gave us a side for free. Really strong mushroom taste, which we loved! - Matcha Cookie: Strong matcha taste but a bit too crumbly for me. - Viet Coffee: If you love vietnamese coffee you'll love this, since they don't dilute it at all. Place was interestingly decorated, and I can see people loving to hang out here. Service is friendly and efficient. Good spot for coffee and a heavy snack / light meal if you're in the area.
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Venue: - cozy, well lit, comfortable to sit down for a coffee/bev with friends and chill - clean and hygiene present - vietnamese forward, so expect banh mi + vietnamese coffee in your options! Drinks: - great wide variety of coffee beverages with a few additional unique items, including sweet potato latte (i want to get next time!) and pandan latte (+\- matcha), and peach tea amongst a few others - also have option to purchase a large bottle to bring home Order: Pandan latte 3.5/5 - you can tell that the pandan syrup was made in house, given that it has a hint of pandan, very subtle but provides a different taste to a milk beverage - well frothed milk, steamed and tempered well - price is a bit higher, and i think i would have preferred the pandan flavours to be stronger Banh Mi - Deluxe Rustle and Still 3.5/5 - overall good banh mi, but given the price I was hoping for something more extravagant in flavour - can taste the overall freshness in their ingredients, although the shredded carrots had a distinctive 'raw' flavour that i didnt fancy, may have preferred a more pickled sourness rather than what was presented - jambon and pork made in house, which gives it a nice kick - the pate was very nicely made, and i think the highlight of the banh mi, otherwise, it may be quite bland/disjointed as a whole Other banh mi's my friends ordered was the pork belly, which was very sweet in flavour according to my friend, but still fragrant, and the lemongrass which was decently received. May come back to try their other coffee options given I heard good things about it, and their prices for coffee is reasonable. The speciality drinks, unsure if i'll grab the pandan on its own, but will be excited to try their other options.

Yelp
Ordered two main items that my friends suggested. #1: Banh Mi - Deluxe Rustle #2: The Iced Viet Coffee The Banh Mi was quite tasty, the crunch from the preserved veggies and the flavourful meat (pork) was really good. The bread was not hard at all. Great for a light lunch meal. The Iced Viet Coffee, was quite strong (just how viet coffee suppose to be) :) Two things I did not like were the paper straws and the crazy amount of ice that was added to this drink. Like it was so much to the point where we poked the straw into the insert it did not penetrate threw and most of the straw had melted lol. Very cozy atmosphere overall, super cute. And for sure will try other items on menu next time!

Yelp
Rustle & Still is a lovely cafe on Bloor West of Bathurst which sells delicious Vietnamese inspired food and drinks including flavourful banh mis, salads, soups, and baked goods. They are known for their delicious coffee and tea lattes, including coffee pandan, matcha pandan, and Vietnamese coffee, Vietnamese tea lemonade, and houjicha lattes which are available in 12 oz and 32 oz bottles. I appreciate that you can choose from milk and milk alternatives (soy, almond, coconut, and oat). I had a mild pork and chicken banh mi which had a slight spicy kick. The sandwich was packed with a good amount of tasty well marinated meats, julienned carrots, cucumber, and mayo in a fresh baguette. I also ordered a 1L coffee pandan latte with oat milk. The strong coffee was balanced out by the creaminess of the oat milk. I didn't find the pandan extract super noticeable but it provided a light sweetness and rounded vanilla-like flavour to the latte. It reminded me of HK milk tea in its slightly malty but very strong flavour except with a coffee base. Will definitely be ordering from here or visiting the cafe again!

Yelp
I love that they stuff their banhmi's with ingredients! I got an Viet iced coffee and their garlic shrimp banhmi and I was completely satisfied! The coffee wasn't too sweet and was aromatic. The banhmi was the star of the show! I had a bunch of jumpo shrimps on a bed of crunchy, delicious slaw - everything was so well seasoned! The restaurant itself is really cozy and hippie - definitely a great place to have a quiet meal and finish that work project Would highly recommend this place

Yelp
Love the interior of this cafe, a lot has changed since I last set foot here, I went here when they grand opened. The menu has changed too and with that a new experience. I ordered the matcha Pandan latte, it was good company! Nice and warming to combat the harsh winter winds. Matcha is stronger in this drink but you can definitely taste the Pandan. I ordered the cha Siu banh mi to let my friends try. We all agree that it sounded good on paper but they used a different char Siu recipe. We thought it would be the Hong Kong BBQ style one. It was a miss for us. I also ordered the garliky shrimp, this banh mi was good. The slaw and the shrimp worked nicely together. Solid banh mi. I also ordered a bottle of coffee Pandan to take home. Once again the Pandan flavours are subtle, so if you want the full Pandan experience I think getting the standalone would be the best option.

Yelp
Very cute local cafe! I love the vibes, and how fast the service is! The owners and staff are really friendly and will take the time to recommend things too. Also appreciate how they sell things from other local Toronto business as well - it really gives a community vibe. I only discovered this cafe during COVID so I haven't been able to sit down and enjoy my drink or banh mi for a work session, but even popping in and out to grab my order has been a good experience! I've really enjoyed their shrimp banh mi, sweet potato latte as well as their pandan lattes. Looking forward to the next time I stop by!

Yelp
Fantastic banh mi and coffee. The char Siu and garlicky shrimp were great. Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong.

Yelp
I can never say no to a banh mi. Came here for takeout. We tried their regular classic banh mi with the different Vietnamese hams and pate. Was packed with meat and veggies which was quite nice and tasty. Also got their mixed lemon grass pork and chicken banh mi which was good. Flavor was good but the only thing we didn't like was that the bread was a bit stale. It wasn't warmed or toasted. Not a huge biggie as we ended up toasting them at home to revive the bread and it was fine. Service was super friendly. Got a couple of drinks as well and the Vietnamese coffee was nice.

Yelp
Was craving me some Bahn Mi and decided to hit this place up in Koreatown. The cashier and barista were both lovely as, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I had the gochujang mushroom tofu bahn mi, and it was so good, although really big and I kind of made a fool of myself in front of everyone trying to eat it without making a mess. All the components went really well together, the crispy tofu and shallots with the creamy coleslaw and fresh coriander and as a vegetarian that can be hard to find in a bahn mi, so I was happy with what I got. It wasn't spicy though, so next time I'd get a higher spice level than the mild that was recommended to me. Also had a Vietnamese iced coffee that was pretty standard and kept me up all night. The sitting area was so aesthetic and pretty, I kind of wish I'd brought my laptop that day or a book so I could've just sat there for a bit!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Cannot say more good things about this place. Fast and friendly service. Scrumptious and satisfying sandwiches. Absolutely spectacular. Walked in by happenstance today. What was ordered was a lemongrass chicken, spicy banh mi and a bella mushroom and tofu banh mi with mild spice level. The quantity was filling and perfectly balanced, herb (coriander/cilantro), grated carrot, sauted tofu with a walnut pate in a spicy mushroom sauce. The lemongrass chicken was thoroughly enjoyed as well. The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection with a bbqed grilled flavour. Absolutely delicious & mouth watering. What accompanied every bite was a "mmmmmm". Definitely will be going back and highly recommended. It is extremely rare to find an eatery that offers such pleasurable quality. 5 stars for their quantity (portion size) 5 stars for the quality (well prepared) 5 stars for the price (very affordable) 5 stars for location (within walking distance to me) 5 stars for the ambiance (lots of plants in shop, clean and well displayed products) And their Vietnamese coffee was strong and well flavoured. All in all absolutely incredible. Looking forward to trying them again.

Yelp
This is one of the best underrated cafes in located in Korea town steps away from Bathurst Station! This is a cute cafe perfect for a study session of a first date with flowers and plants surrounding the corners of the place. The owners are super nice and always have a big smile on their faces Definitely can't go wrong with any of their Banh mis and my go to drink is definitely the matcha pandan latte! There definitely needs to be more Vietnamese cafes like this in the city because no one does it like them

Yelp
Rustle & Still Cafe offers great banh mi sandwiches, a selection of mains, and good coffee. I ordered the Beef Brisket Stew takeout. Unfortunately it was quite salty, the brisket was not very tender, and the serving size was disappointing considering the price point. I'd recommend sticking with their great banh mi sandwiches, such as the Garlicky Shrimpo. Service is friendly and the place has a very nice vibe. Street parking available. A block and half from Bathurst subway station. TLDR; good banh mi sandwiches, good service

Yelp
There's two things I love: banh mi & viet coffee. I was really excited to try this place out so I ordered a bunch of things on my first visit. I ordered the garlicky shrimpo, char siu pork, and the lemon grass banh mi. The garlicky shrimpo had a good portion of shrimp and had a nice smell. However, I couldn't taste the garlic and it was dry so I asked for more of their garlic mayo. Overall, all their banh mi's fell short for me. All had potential but was just missing something and they were dry. As for drinks, we got the pandan latte and the viet coffee with condensed milk. I'm not sure why but both drinks were so bitter. I was so confused with everything I tried like were my taste buds off? But my partner agreed and we felt like we were glad to have tried this place but would find it hard to come back. We're open to trying other items but not the ones we had that day.

Yelp
Found out about this place from Ritual and it looks like a pretty nice place to have a few drinks and enjoy some sandwiches. Staff was friendly. Tried both the chicken banhmi and pork banh mi and they were both solid meals. Good size, lots of filling, lots of meat in particular. Heard a lot of good things about their hojicha and matcha lattes as well so will have to check those out.

Yelp
Such a cute aesthetic Vietnamese café! They sell a variety of coffee and tea drinks, as well as bahn mi and other foods. The staff is very friendly as well! I ordered the iced pandan latte. A bit pricey (we paid $16 for two drinks) but I enjoyed it a lot, although I do wish the pandan flavour was a bit stronger. The hojicha latte my sister ordered was also very light and creamy. It's a pretty small space filled with plants and nice decorations, perfect for instagram and food photos! Seating is limited, but they have free wifi so it would be a good spot to stay if you come earlier!

Yelp
I love this Café! Rustle & Still is a super cute Vietnamese Café. It's an absolute gem that is quickly gaining popularity. They serve some unique drinks, but very good. The Vietnamese coffee is strong like it should be, and one of the better ones I've had. They have unique drinks like matcha pandan latte and sweet purple potato latte. Their matcha pandan latte is very good and not too sweet. Everything is reasonably priced (~4 a drink), given the area. Like many cafes, they're priced as hot drinks - iced is $0.50 more. You can also add flavour like pandan, matcha into other drinks for $0.50. The decor is super modern contemporary. The atmosphere is very chill and inviting. It's very aesthetically pleasing with lots of natural light, perfect for this age of digital bloggers. ;) As a small location, there's actually a lot of seating. I'm a boba addict - yet, with so many boba places nearby, I always find myself going back to Rustle & Still. I definitely suggest checking them out. This was actually recommended to me by another yelper and I'm so glad she did!

Yelp
I won a contest online for a take home banh mi kit, two iced drinks, and vegan banana bread pudding. I got to choose which protein I wanted (chicken, pork or vegan), and I chose pork. WOW. So many thoughts racing through my head! The staff were so nice and the precautions being taken for safety are a lot. They had the door wide open, lots of tape for social distancing, pexiglass and the owner was wear a face shield. I never felt unsafe. He was so friendly and asked a bunch of really great questions to me while I waited for them to assemble the kit. I ordered two Vietnamese iced coffees - if you haven't had Vietnamese coffee before, I highly recommend it. The kit came with mayo, pate, pickled veggies, cilantro, pork, cucumber, baguette, and the sweetest instruction guide which seemed silly but was actually SO helpful - including reheat times, assembly instructions, etc. This was so thoughtful!! We toasted the baguette after spreading the pate and mayo, and reheated the pork and made sure to pour on the juice as well. I hate cilantro and usually avoid banh mi for this reason, but the rest of the ingredients were packed with flavour that I didn't even notice the missing herb. The owner told me I could eat the banana bread pudding cold or hot, we were lazy so we ate it cold with the coconut milk spread, and it was beyond delicious. Complex and layered flavour. The prices are extremely fair, the experience was safe, and I was just so thrilled with the whole thing! Can't wait to be back, they are doing take out of all their drinks and many at home meal kits.

Yelp
Banh MI were overpriced for BANH MI but I guess regular priced cafe sandwiches... Compared to other cafes/coffee shops that price their sandwiches for the same but prepare them from frozen, I guess this is one up. The bread is big, toasted and has sesame seeds. The length of the sandwich is medium sized. Smaller than the large you would get from a Banh MI place. Also the Banh MI is served on paper in a woven basket which is cute but I can see getting greasy and dirty in the future. My pork sandwich was super fatty. More than half fat. Each of my friends who also got the lemongrass sandwich said that theirs had big pieces of fat too. The flavour was good but Im usually a person who picks out the fat from my food and even chicken skin. The drinks (iced pandan latte and iced purple potato latte) were very unique and ASTHETIC. Flavour was pretty good, I enjoyed them and would reccomend them as something new to try. I would not get Banh MI from here again though. Other points of interest: - you put your dirty dishes into a bin that is identical to their garbage can that is next to their real garbage can. I can see people getting them mixed up here. - They have metal straws! - Water is self serve by the main entrance and has lemons inside. - Free WiFi too! Very cafe - Beautiful decor

Yelp
This is a nice and pretty cafe with a twist of Vietnamese taste. It serves regular coffee and some Vietnamese focus food like pandan latte, iced Vietnamese coffee and banhmi sandwich. The owners are friendly and many comfortable seatings in the shop where you can have a coffee date with friends or work. Love to go back to try their ice cream next time.

Yelp
The best viet coffee! The flavour is the perfect strength and level of sweetness! Love both the hot and iced version. The banh mi sandwiches are also really good. Don't forget to get a stamp card!

Yelp
I love it here! This cafe recently opened up in the area and I'm already in love with it. The owners are very friendly and the place is super clean with lots of natural light, pinterest looking furniture and books, and various plants. As soon as I walked in, I already gave this place an A+ for its appearance. For the food/drinks, I was quite impressed too. For drinks, I tried the matcha pandan latte and the hojicha latte - both very tasty. The matcha pandan latte was very sweet and the hojicha did not disappoint. I'm a huge hojicha fan and I know I'll definitely be back for more. For food, I tried the caramel flan - this was also very good, I just wish the portion size was a bit bigger. I hear the purple sweet potato latte (taro latte) and the banana bread are absolutely delicious so I'm definitely trying these next time I come here. Definitely come check this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
I really like this cute little hidden cafe ! The atmosphere and decor inside is really nice. Feels organic and welcoming. The staff is really nice. I love their pandan drinks, especially the matcha pandan latte which is amazing, especially iced in a hot summer day. Their coffee pandan latte is also good but you taste the pandan less. I recently went two days in a row just to indulge myself in these drinks. Will definitely come back for more. I'm also looking forward to trying their ube latte and Vietnamese snacks / sandwiches that they have!
