Don’t get all the negative reviews. It’s a hostel and as far as hostels go this is a great one. Had a bed in a dorm, it was very comfortable and you have curtains you can close for privacy. The bathrooms and showers where for the most very clean. You have access to two kitchens with all the appliances. The staff is just great! Helpful and genuinely nice. Loved my stay here!

Don't go here if you're looking for a fun, travel hostel vibe. It was dark and musty and all the people I spoke to were staying there because they couldn't find apartments. I guess I should have booked an all-female dorm, but my dorm was all older men and I didn't feel particularly safe. It was hot and the bathrooms smelled horrible. I felt lucky I didn't get bedbugs (the rooms were dusty and paint peeling). All in all just a bad vibe from this place. Only ups were the kitchen worked fine and it was close to a supermarket, and staff were friendly and let me use the washing machine. I was hoping to meet some people for the festival, but I wouldn't reccomend, if you are looking to have a real youth hostel vibe just go to Copenhagen.

Room not very clean, especially the toilet, the toilet seat was loose too. You couldn't hang the shower head up but had to hold it the entire time of showering. Room had cost us 65Euros a night and didn't include sheets nor towels which had to be additionally purchased. Towels, ok. But I do expect bedding included in a price of accommodation. I have been sleeping in hundred different hostels around the world and never had that happening before. Also, the mattresses were very cheap, and not even in the same size of the bed frame. The two stars go to, a friendly lady at reception, supermarket around the corner, the room had a good size and came with a TV. The bathroom had toilet paper, shampoo, soap and a little hand towel. Dont go to Malmö. Just skip it.

The apartment smelled amazing and the floor wasn't sticky at all. The price is cheap. Also no people on the innegård puking at night, which is always nice. The shower was totally normal. The temperature reminds you pleasent summer night in Baghdad. 💲💲💲💲

I had a great stay - good price for a hostel, quiet nights for sleep, safe and comfortable room, good and available amenities, great location as well as very friendly and helpful staff. It is a hostel so no frills or luxuries but I had all I needed for the price. Strongly recommended for the budget-conscious traveller.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Rut o Ragnars. The price for the shared room was very affordable and it was also very calm. I asked for a lock to the safety boxes and they said there hadn’t been a reported theft in years. All the staff I met were helpful, reasonable and relaxed and I could access them even close to midnight. Both bathroom and common room were surprisingly good for the price, no mold which can be common. No weird interactions between other residents. There were rooms available to book the same day I arrived and they were easy to reach on the phone in the morning. All in all I was very pleased, can honestly review them 5 stars, will recommend others and consider staying here if I visit Malmö again. 🤗

I had a nice stay at Rut & Ragnars Hostel. On one floor there's only one bathroom/toilet, but more are on the other so generally it was fine. Check-in was possible a bit earlier, check-out was really uncomplicated. There's an extra fee for bed sheets.

do not take beds in a 16-bed room. Stinky socks, night snoring and strange-looking people are guaranteed. The syringe package has been in the toilet for two days now. I think that in the toilet someone is injecting themselves with illegal substances. I'm glad that there are cameras everywhere. free earplugs. plus 5€ for bed linen you will be charged at check-in so be prepared. It’s good that they don’t sell the mattress. the cheapest hostel attracts the most marginalized individuals. and I was damn lucky not to encounter bedbugs. although I'm not sure yet. and for this price it is too expensive. and for this money you paid. you will be asked to check out at 11 am and check in after 4. You will also be asked to take your laundry to the laundry yourself.
