Ryan's Hotel Cong

Very nice hotel in the center of Cong. Burrows and a river outside added to the ambiance but very quite at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast hit all the items we were interested in. The restaurant/Bar attached to hotel served a good selection. The abbey in Cong was well worth the visit and hiking was great on the trails.

Great location and would recommend for that reason. Room and ensuite very clean. Breakfast was just okay...maybe cook as needed rather than keep warm. Could be doing with a little bit of TLC. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice bar with good selection.

Really loved this charming hotel. Great breakfast, nice showers and beds. The housekeeping was a nice touch and even the restaurant on property served delicious dinner. It is right in the center of everything. Perfect location for walks along the river and access to Ashford Castle |We had the deluxe double which overlooked the river |Staff friendly and accomadating. Excellent stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to find and there was a big carpark. Our room was huge and really nice. The bed was massive. The bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. The facilities in the room were great with coffee/tea and there was plenty of desk space and wardrobe/drawers. ||The buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with quite a lot of choice. We eight in the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was very nice.||It was good value and I would recommend staying here

I stayed here for St. Patrick's day. The staff were lovely and helpful. Lively bar next door with music. Bedrooms were clean and spacious, with a massive/comfortable bed. Very good value for money & good location. Only downside was the parking but perhaps that was limited due to the fact it was St. Patrick's Day!

I travel all over on business. Usually 80 nights per year away in Hotels,This little place in Cong really surprised me. Mary was wonderful as I was stuck for accom last minute and she arranged my stay perfectly, Lovely warm welcome on checkin, Room spacious quiet, Cosy, Comfy bed, Excellent shower, Everything spotless, Really nice Irish breakfast, Stayed 2 nights, Will recommend and Return, Many Thanks Mary for all your help.

The hotel was cozy, comfortable, and close to everything you’d want to see in Village Cong. Denis, the owner, was so friendly and welcoming of many questions while offering great advice. Breakfast was included and delicious. Thank you! I will always recommend this lovely establishment.

We visited for one night on Easter weekend. The check-in process was nice and easy. Plenty of parking at the property. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a good pub on site with sports on tv and food served until late evening. Coming from Dublin the prices in the pub were very affordable. |The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee available in the rooms. The beds very big and comfy too. The bathrooms modern and clean. One of the rooms had no window, which took me by surprise, but for one night stay it made no difference to me. There is a bit of natural light coming in through the bathroom door but for a longer stay I would definitely look for a room with a window. The other room had a lovely view of the village. But both rooms were cosy and warm. |Breakfast was good with full Irish fare in a form of buffet plus cereal, juices and coffee served by friendly staff. |All in all we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Cong village.
