The service I received from, who I later found out was the manager on duty, was terrible. There must’ve been a mix up on bookings and instead of receiving a family room we got a king size suite. Not anyone’s fault, it happens. At check in she bluntly told me that there is a pull out sofa for our 2 kids. I questioned her about parking as we had a car trailer with us and she offered valet parking as an option, or leave it in the street. Was very unhelpful, didn’t tell me where the Wilson’s parking was or how much it would cost. After driving around with a car trailer for 20 minutes I found the place she mentioned (I think) Once we got to the room we found there was only 1 pillow and no sheets for the sofa bed. When I went back to reception and questioned this, she told me the sheets were in the bed. I requested a second pillow for our other daughter, so she rolled her eyes at me and said “oh yeah, ok”
I can not believe that a place like this would employ such rude people on reception let alone have them in charge. It was a nice place with great views, but I would definitely not return. Absolute waste of nearly $500.00! I’d try somewhere else with more helpful staff. BY THE WAY HER NAME WAS LUCY! And she should NOT be working in customer service. Maybe out the back of Coles unboxing stock is better suited for her!
