Rydges South Bank Brisbane

Very nice hotel, great friendly staff all round. Check in kiosks were useful and seamless on check-in. Rooms a good size, clean and modern . Buffet breakfast - was top notch, great looking restaurant with great outdoor seating, its was a fabulous afternoon drinking beer in the sunshine. The roadside bar/cafe was a little dated but great friendly service and very cold beer! I will be back !!

Really enjoyed our stay at Rydges South Bank. The self check-in kiosks made arrival quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent — plenty of choice and great quality, especially nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the morning sun. The bar feels a little tired in terms of decor, but the team working there were great and service was spot on. Would definitely stay again.

First time staying at Rydges Southbank. Great size lobby area, driving into the entrance can be tricky but staff will show you where to park so you can check in. Valet is a breeze. Booked 2 rooms, 1 had a balcony. Good size rooms. Bathroom is small but your not squashed. Water pressure in the shower was great. Wifi is great, tv options real good and the bed is comfortable coming from a big guy. CBD cafe was great, ate there once for breakfast and had dinner there everynight. As a Black Member it was easy using my membership to access my discount which was a good. Staff at the cafe were great especially the tall young fella behind the bar. Food is great hence eating here my whole stay. Pool area was nice to relax, QR codes on tables allowed service to your area. Pool is a good size, plenty of towels. Looking forward in coming back so we can check out Bacchus Restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Location is great, you can do different things every day as it's walking distance to a lot of places.

I had asked to have a room with a view as my Granddaughters had just wanted to visit the city and see city lights. It was a Sunday night, so not many guests. Disappointing to have a view of a concrete building, clearly did not try to accommodate my request. Care factor zero. I believe there are rooms with nice views. There was an alarm clock in the room that went off every 10 minutes from 5.30 am. The room was very small, but was clean, as was the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was good, with a good variety, and it is in a great location for accessing Southbank. I would not stay there again, though

I'd like to thank Ellie for her wonderful service and professionalism, because of her I'd highly recommend staying here. There was a problem in the kitchen and several tables were complaining, within half an hour she had the whole problem sorted ,she offered to re plate customers meals or as our case reduce our bill all done with a smile on her face. “Comfortable Stay with Great Views” I recently stayed at Rydges South Park Adelaide and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is situated on South Terrace, offering easy access to Adelaide’s CBD and nearby attractions like the Adelaide Showground and Central Market. The room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. I particularly enjoyed the view of the southern parklands from my window. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a bonus.  Dining at the on-site Skyline Restaurant was a highlight. The rooftop setting provided stunning city views, and the menu offered a good variety of dishes. Breakfast was also enjoyable, with a decent selection to choose from. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out processes smooth. The hotel also offers secure parking, which was convenient. Overall, Rydges South Park Adelaide provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend it to travelers seeking quality accommodation in Adelaide.

Went for function. Food was lovely however portions are not for regular people. Mini mini portions outrageous for the price. Pull your head in Rydges. People expect full meals not meals that would bearly take a bite and say I'm full. For the money the company makes they really need to review the food portions. Don't bother eating here unless you want to starve.

Almost everything about this hotel was exceptional—from the warm early check-in support to the spotless facilities, comfortable bedding, room condition, and outstanding service. It came very close to perfect. The only drawback was the bathroom sink design. It was so impractical to use that I genuinely wondered if it was intentionally made that way to save water. If so, it feels like a well-meaning idea taken too far—when functionality is compromised to that extent, it ends up being more frustrating than eco-friendly.

Wonderful staff. What a joy to liaise with the lovely reception staff, Justin and Georgie, when they recently helped me track a card for a dear friend in quarantine I had incorrectly addressed. Sounds very simple but they went above and beyond to ensure my friend who had returned from a funeral in the south, received it. Made our hearts sing Thank you!!!! Adrienne, Melbourne
