When we came here for dinner on a Monday evening, it was relatively empty which made for great service and a nice relatively private dinner for our group of 6. Their cheese board is excellent and everyone raved about their food. I had the Long Island Duck, which was perfectly savory and delicious. Great place in Williamsburg for a wonderful dinner.

The happy hour with $5 cheese burgers and old fashioneds is amazing. Great quality food. I'm definitely returning. I don't even like burgers usually (because i think pre ground beef is gross) but it tastes like they ground their own beef in the restaurant. It's really great. And very cute inside. Regretting not taking more photos inside.

Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was perfect with great style and class, but it still maintains an energy that has you wanting to spend your whole evening there. The menu makes it approachable for all and will leave you amazed. While visiting the NY area, we did not have a better dinning experience. After dinner the Bar Below serves some delicious drinks that top off the evening.

Love everything about this place. The dinner atmosphere is excellent (haven't been for brunch yet) and great for dates, family dinner or just eating at the bar. The food is fantastic start to finish. The cocktails are killer too. Can't wait to head back.

Wow! Delicious spot we came across. After about a $20 cab ride from just north of Times Square we sat down to some very well chosen music... especially if you grew up in the 80s or 90s. You could actually load up on the appetizers here and be very satisfied. They were very tasty. I had seen several things written about the meatball sandwich so we asked to have two of them cut into fourths and they made great sliders. And the Fried Brussel Sprouts were surprisingly fantastic. Definitely worth a try. A couple in my group said that it was the best duck they have ever had. If you like truffle oil, the Lasagna is great. Even the Mac and Cheese was fantastic. Each dish is very unique and if you're in a group and into sharing it makes for a fantastic meal. Everyone was very satisfied and we'll be back. Thanks Cal!

We started our brunch with the donut holes and scotch eggs. The texture of the donut holes was unique. The donut holes were cake donuts, yet were as light and airy as yeast donuts. The exterior of the donuts was crispy. Definitely some of the better donut holes that I've had. The scotch eggs provided a nice salty counter balance to the donuts. I really loved the rye Benedict. They replaced the ham with pork belly and English muffin with buttermilk biscuit, resulting in an extra wallop of flavor. I complemented my food with a cocktail that was like a spicy margarita with maple syrup that really hit the spot.

Brunch review. The Bloody Mary here is strong but about 1/3 half the size vs Le Barricou on the other side of the burg. I prefer the bloody mary's there because it has more texture and this (though very strong.. had a straight watery consistency). Ordered the famed Meatball Sandwich-- a bit disappointed that it was $2 higher ($16 vs $14) than what they listed on their website. I don't think customers like surprises so they should at least stay updated. It was good (I don't know if it's meatball shop good, but it's good) and filling, and the breaded onion rings on the top were delicious. That dish is missing one fatal thing though - a salad. It's so much brown and denseness, I think they could have parted with the extra 25 cents to throw on a few small greens to accompany the dish. + A note for visiting this restaurant in the Winter (we ate at the end of Jan 2013): it's COLD in this restaurant! Our table all noted that it would've been more enjoyable if we didn't all have to keep sweaters and jackets on while eating. + Bathrooms are very cute, but beware of the one with the Alaska map in it- there's a hole somewhere in the wall/window and it's the same temperature as outdoors. The other bathroom is toasty.
