Google
We had a lovely tasting experience with Vanessa. Amazing hospitality and delicious, but approachable wines. The space is lovely and full of great energy.

Google
This place is magic- from the moment you walk in you feel like you are with old friends. The team is so personable and makes you feel so at home. The wine is all delicious- honestly hard to pick my favorite but a chilled Alicante Bouschet probably takes the cake for me. Tied for first is also their Chilly Rouge bag in a box for summer river floats! Their wine club parties are always such a GOOOOOOD time. I could go on and on but they are just the best! BIG FAN

Google
Echoing what everyone else has already said - great vibes and people set in a rustic tasting room with natural accents. The wines are fun, interesting, and delicious as well! A must visit when in the Russian River Valley

Google
Go here if you like warm, unfussy hospitality and learning about more unusual varietals. We felt like welcomed guests, with blankets set out for us in advance if we found the winter weather chilly. They really took the time to explain each wine and adjusted the tasting to what we liked. We especially loved the Greco and both red Aglianicos — so much so that we went home with a couple of bottles.

We were sent here by another winemaker. She said we'd love their relaxed vibe, their super knowledgeable guides, and their ability to make surprising wines from little-known (in the US) varieties. Yes, the outdoor patio was relaxing. Yes, Lehshel was very welcoming and shared so much about each wine. Yes, the Aglianico is just the thing for lovers of really big reds, and its rose' is unusually full and aromatic. Absolutely worth a visit. And a "5".

Google
Ryme is such a gem. In a laid-back setting on a historic property, you get incredible 1:1 hospitality and the opportunity to taste not your usual varietals: vermentino, friulano, and aglianico rosé. They have some of the usuals like Pinot and Cab too. It's a relaxed atmosphere and cool wines.

Google
I have no idea how someone could rate this winery anything less than 5 stars! The ambiance was casual and stunning. The wine was amazing, simple, unique and actually delicious! But the best experience was Amanda! The entire team was a delight, but Amanda was who we spoke with mostly and she went above and beyond during our experience. She also gave us recommendations in the area for dinner options! Loveddddd this place!

Google
We had such an incredible visit with Megan and the RYME crew. They welcomed our family (including 2 littles), giving us a super thoughtful set-up so that mom could enjoy some wine while the kids played nearby enjoying apples and a coloring book. The wines themselves were amazing - we joined the wine club and left with a few amazing bottles. Can’t wait to come back.

Yelp
Ryme made my first wine tasting a great experience! Came with some friends with a toddler, and it's a plus that they accommodate children as well. The toddler was kept busy with a nice coloring book :) The wine tasting included 5 wines (3 whites and 2 reds) and a plate of olives, crackers, and cheese. Delicious! I'm not usually a fan of olives but the olives I had here changed my mind completely! Every wine was clearly explained to us and they knew what they were talking about when we asked additional questions about the wines. We had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend! It wasn't too busy when we went and we had a large table to ourselves. Wasn't too loud either so we were able to enjoy each other's company.

Yelp
Hidden away unique wines. We really enjoyed out time here thanks to hostesses Megan and Amanda. Wines you don't find many places in Sonoma - vermantinoand Aglianicoi - we liked but I think they might be an acquired taste but worth the visit for sure!

Yelp
We are so glad we stumbled upon Ryme! The most beautiful location with the best wine. Such a treat meeting Megan, too! Can't wait to come back. Thanks for being a part of my bachelorette weekend :) Oh we also loved the cheese!!

Yelp
This winery was recommended to us. The setting is rustic and very cozy. Our guide, Vanessa, was one of the best wine guides we have ever encountered. Her enthusiasm and wine knowledge is unsurpassed. However, the wines presented were not right for our palette.

Yelp
We needed this! What a delicious way to start our visit to this region. The team is welcoming and the wine is delicious.

Yelp
Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Nice outdoor seating area to accommodate us and our dogs. Some interesting and unusual Italian varietals, and an excellent grenache!

Yelp
I tried their Fiano a few years ago at a restaurant and loved it! My partner found the Ryme tasting room so he made a reservation for my birthday. It's a small venue but cozy and rustic. There's indoor and outdoor seating but we were inside because of the rain. Our tasting included: Fiano, Vermetino (His), Aglianico Rose, Pinot Noir, and Sagrantino. All the wines we had were good but we enjoyed the Vermentino and bought a bottle. The tasting also included a plate of St. George Cheese and crackers. The cheese was delicious and paired well with the wines Service was great, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would definitely go back especially to try the Vermentino (Hers) as this was sold out when we went.

Yelp
RYME has unique, well executed wines that wine lovers and novices can appreciate. The owners/staff are friendly and unfussy. The tasting room is comfortable and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We love to come up here and camp out for a few hours. Great place to bring friends.

Yelp
So glad we stopped by Ryme cellars on our weekend trip! Ryme is owned by a husband and wife team, and located off the beaten path in Forestville- tucked away behind the main street. The ambiance was super cute and rustic. It was incredibly easy to book our tasting on the Tock app. Our tasting was for 5 current wines, priced at $30 per person, which was super reasonable. Our server was also incredible- she was so knowledgeable, and even brought over some additional tastings that were not on our flights list. The favorite of our group was the Vermentino (hers) and we ended up bringing 2 bottles home with us. Highly recommend for any trip to Russian river valley.

Yelp
One of my top 5 favorite wineries in Sonoma All of the wines we tried were outstanding These were our favorites: 2021 Vermentino, Hers Las Brisas Vyd. 2019 Pinot Noir, Las Brisas Vineyard 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Massa Vineyard The brunch was really good too Protip: There a GREAT bakery with pies nearby for afterwards: "Mom's apple pie"

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! The wines were delicious and Vanessa was a wonderful host. Loved the different varietals, such fun wines.

Yelp
The staff was friendly and attentive with excellent knowledge of the the establishment and wines. I'm not a professional wine connoisseur but the wines were very delicious! My favorite was the vermentino, never had a wine with that color and taste, we ended up taking home a bottle of it. The wine tasting room itself was classy rustic. It was raining prior to arriving but they also have some nice outdoor seating available.

Yelp
A tiny boutique winery with an affinity for Italian varietals located in Forrestville. We were on a quest to taste Italian grapes in California as a consolation for having to cancel a trip to Sicily. One of our other stops recommended RYME. Calling their tasting facility "understated" is generous - it's not much to look at from the outside and located on a really downscale gravel road. But don't be put off by the aesetics, the quality of the wines are first rate. They are not growers, but source fruit from various local vineyards to craft their unique wines. Of particular interest are the two versions of the Arneis- his and hers- that demonstrate how different two end wines can be with the exact same starting juice. One is crisp, refreshing and summery while the other is moody and stormy and in want of food. We also enjoyed their aglianico varieties and just sipping outside on a beautiful fall day. Our host Sara ( no h) was friendly and passionate about the wines and really knew her Stuff. Stop in here (with an appointment) for the wines and an authentic experience at a micro winery.

Yelp
Small family owned (husband and wife team) winery in Sebastopol Sonoma, where they make wines they love and I love all their wines. Wines are all so good and well-priced, easy to drink and unique! No fancy building or vineyard view but has a cute tasting garden. We ended up joining the club and can't go back. If you are in Sonoma/Santa Rosa and want to taste a variety of good wines other than Pinot or Cab (although their Cab and Pinot are good as well), highly recommend. Their wines have become my go to bottle any night of the week. More wineries based on views, price, varietals at finevining.com IG @fine.vining Cute for pictures: 3/5 QPR: 5/5, average price $20-60 Main varietals: Italian reds and whites. Vermentino, Aglianico, Cab Franc, Cab Sauv Tasting fee: $25, waived for members

Yelp
What a sweet little find! Just off of Forestville's Main Street, make the effort to go check them out. Delicious wine, excellent hospitality (which seems to be in short supply these days) and a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Unassuming location in a quiet little town. Our tasting was fabulous with a nice thoughtful snack plate. Left with two bottles and will be back for a visit.

Yelp

Yelp
Ryme was recommended to us and we are so glad we came to Ryme. Ryme is a hidden gem!! Not your typical winery experience, more of an intimate/off the beaten path experience. The wine is delicious and Megan, one of the wine makers, did the tasting for us and it was amazing. She did a great job describing the wines and story telling but not in an over the top, pretentious way. We loved our experience so much we signed up for the wine club. Highly recommend! Don't miss out!

Yelp
Magical Mother's Day tasting experience. My daughter and I were fortunate enough to choose Ryme Cellars for a tasting reservation today. I'd read a San Francisco Chronicle article about them, and was intrigued to visit. Ryme is an intimate, peaceful and serene hidden gem. The wines far surpassed our Expectations. The hospitality by Sarah was warm And welcoming. Our seating beneath some trees was relaxing. A genuine and down home establishment that felt like a vacation. We will be back--often. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We were in the area and dropped in for a visit. Megan (winemaker/co-owner) was a wonderful host and served us some outstanding wines and a delicious cheese plate. "Her" Vermentino is a delight! In addition to "Her" Vermentino, of the wines Megan served us, we also enjoyed the Fiano, Grenache, and the Aglianco (Luna Matte and Camino Alto vineyards). We purchased all of the wines I mentioned and plan to go back soon for another visit!

Yelp
Top-shelf tasting experience. Delicious wines that depart from the usual. Food was great.

Connor K.

Yelp
CHERRY! If you like Cherry red wines then you would love this place. The only feedback we would like to offer is that the quiche should be heated up and served warm. It was odd that it was cold. We paid $60 PP for bunch and the tasting which was absolutely worth it. They gave us so much food that we took some home! The tastings were good. We bought a bottle of the HERS wine and we really love it. The HIS wine is unlike any other wine we've ever had which is hard to find in Wine country. We just don't love Cherry flavored reds. We prefer earthy & citrus flavors but that is purely just a preference. The service was excellent

Yelp
This was my first time venturing out after a year for a tasting and lunch. The setting under the canopy of trees was just the kind of serenity and calm that is needed in these trying times. Each of the wines that were part of the tasting were so unique that it was really hard to decide which ones to take home. Megan and Amanda were very welcoming. I look forward to a return visit soon and would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Sam S.

Yelp
Totally loved this place. Megan was super nice and accommodating. Their wines are excellent and very well priced. Strongly recommend making this a stop.
