A restaurant well located near Opera and Pyramides. The entrance doesn't show how roomy the restaurant really is, and they also have an upper floor. All the staff members were nice and ready to help, and could speak Japanese and French. The place is immaculate and you can enjoy refined simplicity here. As expected of a restaurant run by Japanese people. Don't hesitate to book by phone (number on their official webpage). The freshness of the fish and the rice will satisfy you if you've ever lived in Japan. Be prepared to pay quite a bit for the quality though. On that note: We were surprised to discover a set of prices far above the ones indicated on this Google page, in the menu tab. Some of the most affordable options such as the sushi or sashimi assortments were just not present on the menu at all (in fact, the whole Sushi and Chirashi tab was not there, the whole menu was only 2 pages), so don't come thinking you'll be able to control your budget based on what you saw online. This is a quality restaurant, come only if you're ready to splurge. We're uploading all 2 pages of the menu that was given to us so you can see for yourself, and compare with the screenshots of the information provided on Google as of today.

We had an outstanding meal at Ryo. The sushi and oysters were incredibly fresh, with fish so tender it practically melted the moment it touched your tongue. We’ll definitely be returning for more.

The food we had here was absolutely delicious! We ordered several types of fish and the freshness was outstanding, you could really taste the quality in every bite. The sushi and sashimi came in generously sized pieces, which was a pleasant surprise. While it is on the pricier side, the quality makes it totally worth it. I’ll definitely be returning, though I see it more as a special treat rather than an everyday spot due to the price. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for top-quality sushi!

Rated my best sushi and sashimi restaurant in Paris- to this moment. Sashimi are well cut, sushi rice was right: warm, not squished, had a generous piece of fresh and savory fish. In a town where most of Japanese restaurants seems the same sad industry, Ryô stands for his cuisine and educated staff that brings me back to Japan.

Good place to have fresh quality sushi, I recommend the tempura salad (so yummy), & the wasabi beef as starters. I particularly loved the spicy tuna and crab & salmon maki. Excellent sake! However for the price you may, which is expensive, I expected the place to be more classy/elegant for dinner time, dimmed light but it was very casual, there was a baby sitting, next to us crying. The staff was super nice.

Everything tastes fresh and of high quality. Worth the price in my opinion. Our favorite was the toro sashimi which really melts in your mouth. Staff is friendly and we got our dishes fast!

I’ve dined at Ryo several times and decided to bring my daughter there for her birthday because I’ve enjoyed it so much. We arrived and everybody got their meal, to include people who arrived THIRTY MINUTES after us, to include two tables next to us who ordered EXTRA sushi after they finished their first order. What upset me the most was that there was no effort from the waitstaff to make it right. My poor daughter was in tears as we left with no food because almost 90 minutes in we didn’t want to wait longer as we saw everybody around us leaving. I’m deeply disappointed because we were looking forward to this dinner so much.

Comments are true about the poor service. Went to celebrate a birthday and it took over an hour for everyone’s sushi to arrive (arriving 20 minute increments) with all the tables around us receiving their meal before us even though they arrived after. We had to ask several times for an update and seemed like they forgot our order. They were unapologetic and looked almost annoyed. Food itself was ok but the rice fell apart when picking up the sushi.

Yelp
Holy crap! Probably best sushi especially considering what we paid! Things you cannot miss - eggplant miso - best I've ever had, spicy tuna on crispy rice - we got 4 pieces each. Everything was excellent - even comparing to 2-300€ per person sushi restaurants. Even the mochi dessert - lychee and passionfruit/mango - was incredible. Didn't know you could get sushi this good in France.

Yelp
I booked this restaurant well in advance to celebrate our 33 year wedding anniversary with our two children. We arrived and were immediatly told that numerous items on the menu were SOLD OUT!! It was 20:30, we were on time!, we booked! Ok so we just ordered the regular sushi's etc.. however we were still hungry after that. Service was super slow too. Finally we got the waitress' attention, asked for menus and ordered 4 makis. She looked a little hesitant but took our order. Meanwhile more people were pouring in at 9:30... she came back to announce to us that they had RUN OUT OF RICE!!! A Japanese restaurant next to rue St Anne RUNS OUT OF RICE!! I am not joking!! We told her to go across the street and get some more... She told us no, she could not fill our order because other people had shown up and they needed to feed them!!! Our dinner was horrible and do not ever recommend this restaurant. They were arrogant, not apologetic or wanting to offer anything in return for their horrible service. We booked- they knew how many people were coming. Never again shall we return to this super unfriendly restaurant.
