S Bistrô - LEME

Very beautiful restaurant for a special dining experience. We experienced a great ambiance and friendly staff. However, we were a little disappointed with the food. We ordered the cheese salad. However, the dressing was very sweet and overpowering. A part from that my girlfriend ordered a seafood pasta, which disappointed us due to the lack of seafood in it. We counted two small shrimps, a tiny octopus tentacle, and a piece of squid. This didn’t match the price and expectations which were frankly high. Besides that we had a good experience and were happy with the food.

Beautiful, stylish restaurant right on the Copacabana. The menu offers both meat and fish dishes. We ordered oysters as a starter and had 2 different meat dishes for our main course. The meat was super strong and perfectly roasted pink. The chips and potato gratin were also really tasty. The service was friendly and our order was served really quickly.

UPDATE: I got severe intoxication from the oysters... The best food ive tried in rio! I had the oysters and the moqueca, amazing... super tasty and creamy with coco milk. The piña colada was a bit strong for my test, but I usually dont drink. Its too close to a big street and its trafic, but the environment is lovely. I will come bavk as soon as I can!!

The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered the salmon with black rice and orange curry sauce. The salmon was crispy, the sauce was light and tangy and the black rice was fluffy. It is on the pricier side. I think the food is worth it but they did charge a 12% service fee for very average service. The atmosphere was great, the only negative was no air conditioning.

Extremely delicious food and drinks with a very chill ambiance. The decor has a Bohemian touch. Everyone from the hostess, waitress and bus boy were very nice.

This place has a nice view to the beach and the decor is very trendy has a party vibe and music to it. And they have a menu in English yahoo! I wanted a cocktail with Rum and they actually made one for me. I haven’t tasted a Smoked salmon this good and the outside so crispy. Garlic French Fries were the best.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. We went on a Tuesday evening and it was busy so no doubt at the weekend there will be a waiting list. Food and drinks at affordable prices. Worth a visit to the neighbourhood of Leme and the restaurant is opposite the beach.
