S Bistrô - LEME

We stopped here by chance for lunch and it was one of the best we had in Brazil especially the chicken with coconut banana and the gnocchi. Top service as well. Everyone with a smile well done.

We went at noon for lunch and the place wasn’t crowded, but the service from the woman working there was absolutely horrendous. She was extremely rude for no reason from the moment we sat down. The day before, I had told them I’m celiac (gluten allergy), and the man working in the evening was very friendly and convinced us to come back the next day. (Regretting this decision now) When we ordered (steak, fries, and rice), the rice even came with gluten, so we had to ask them to change it. But honestly, the attitude of the woman was awful from the start—she didn’t help us with the menu, was rude while explaining items, and acted like everything was a bother. At the end, when she was explaining if we will split or pay one the bill, she was unbelievably rude again. I always pay the service but I decided to refuse after this disrespect. She didn’t even ask if the food was good when taking the plates. For the prices they charge, the least they could do is hire someone who can smile and treat customers with basic respect.

Very beautiful restaurant for a special dining experience. We experienced a great ambiance and friendly staff. However, we were a little disappointed with the food. We ordered the cheese salad. However, the dressing was very sweet and overpowering. A part from that my girlfriend ordered a seafood pasta, which disappointed us due to the lack of seafood in it. We counted two small shrimps, a tiny octopus tentacle, and a piece of squid. This didn’t match the price and expectations which were frankly high. Besides that we had a good experience and were happy with the food.

The staff here are amazing—warm, friendly, and welcoming. We absolutely loved the food! Our meal included oysters, octopus, and sea bream with risotto, plus desserts and drinks. Every dish was exceptional. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Good prices and delicious food: Oysters, one of the best I've tried. Served with lemon and onion aside. Fried goat cheese, really yummy. Risotto with asparagus, delicious. Great vegetarian options in the menu. Steak, cooked to the level that we ordered. It was very delicious served with dark pepper sauce and baked creamy potatoes. Cocktails were ok. The service was very helpful and kind. They got confused with our streaks whose plate was rare and medium but we figured it out so all good. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, stylish restaurant right on the Copacabana. The menu offers both meat and fish dishes. We ordered oysters as a starter and had 2 different meat dishes for our main course. The meat was super strong and perfectly roasted pink. The chips and potato gratin were also really tasty. The service was friendly and our order was served really quickly.

Last week was the second time visiting S Bistrô Leme, since I also went there two years ago when I was visiting Rio again. Excellent service, very good quality of food and a big variety of cocktails. It is advisable to book a table. I will definitely go again next time I visit Rio!

The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered the salmon with black rice and orange curry sauce. The salmon was crispy, the sauce was light and tangy and the black rice was fluffy. It is on the pricier side. I think the food is worth it but they did charge a 12% service fee for very average service. The atmosphere was great, the only negative was no air conditioning.
