"At S Hotel you get the laid-back vibe of a stay in Jamaica with a bit of South Beach glitz—they even line the deck of their sleek pool with some of the island’s famous white sand. If that isn’t enough sand for your liking, the hotel also offers private access to idyllic Doctor’s Cave Beach and its gentle surf. Inside, the ocean view rooms are big enough to pass for apartments in some big cities. And they lay a minimalist black and white color scheme over a beachy aesthetic (think, lots of wicker furniture, including covering the bathtub) that will leave you feeling maximally relaxed. If it doesn’t, there’s always the Irie Baths and Spa, which has three underground plunge pools (hot, warm, and cold) that provide kinetic energy therapy and send you out feeling totally relaxed, in addition to the usual the massages and skin treatment options." - CNT Editors

It was a wonderful experience staying at S Hotel for the Christmas holiday. From the welcoming and helpful greeting received upon check-in, (Kay-la, thank you!!), and beyond it was clear a great choice in resorts to visit had been made!! The property is expertly maintained (including a special recognition to Orville) and the pool area & beach area has plenty of spots, so that you can spend your outdoor time to your liking. There is a DJ and fun games for daytime entertainment, and in the evening, the live entertainment is so talented, too. At the beach, Sheldon or Miguel, are so kind & will find you a great spot to lounge for the day. Food is delicious and premium beverages are plentiful. Buffet dining and specialty restaurant dining was equally enjoyable. You will find any drink made by Joe-El to be great and his kindness and care was so appreciated! Nykaoya's help when dining and/or at the Cafe (which has a wonderful variety of beverages and snacks), and the care she shows, also helped make the trip so nice. Two very amazing people deserve a massive acknowledgement: Andre and Andres. They went about and beyond to ensure that a great time was had and their professionalism and friendliness greatly helped make this stay the best!!!|I am so glad to have experienced S Hotel. This is also the first time, about a resort, I can genuinely say I'd love to go back!!

Yes, one can locate a newer hotel with more amenities; however, S Hotel has everything needed to enjoy Jamaica within an easy commute. It is a Jamaican owned hotel staffed by locals. A wonderful selection of freshly prepared food and beverages were always available. Spa services were easily booked. Free and low-cost activities were available all day. There were very few service delays. While staff appreciated tips, one didn't feel obligated to carry cash. The hotel was safe for an all-girls' trip. We relaxed in the ocean, did water aerobics in the pool, attempted to learn Jamaican dance steps, learned about coffee and rum,...the experiences were varied and available. Go. Renew. Refresh.

Excellence bar none My wife and I spent a week here over New Year’s. We had a fabulous time. The view of the sea, beach access, poolside cabanas and exquisite food and drink lead us to give this hotel a five star rating. Andre, the events coordinator, in particular stands out. He seemed to be everywhere leading activities, including karaoke, aqua fit in the pool, beach power walks, and the cultural tour of the hotel (which we highly recommend). Hotel management deserves recognition for highlighting Jamaica’s cultural and political power houses by placing statues of these historical figures and explanatory plaques throughout the hotel. The proximity to the airport is definitely a positive. My wife and I highly recommend!

This was a favorite spot for my husband and I when it was Breezes. This is our first stay since it has been Chang to the S Hotel. The food is pretty decent, however the menu is very very limited. Water is great for snorkeling and just hanging out. The rooms are mire thanks disappointing. They are kinda small even with what they said was add ons. The workers didn’t acknowledge neither my husband nor I . We waited for more than 10 minutes for any services we were trying to get. The water didn’t get hot, the Beds creaked and made loud popping noises whenever you move. The safe didn’t work in the second room we were given because of the bed issue . No special upgrade or accommodations made due to the issues we had . Someone took my belongings from the pool are. Not impressed for the money that we spent and the treatment we were given. This was our 27 year anniversary without any kids and this by far has not been good memorial one out it the 10 times we have been here

Lovely place! The suite was bright and spacious with everything required for a perfect place. The service was great overall but the checkin experience can definitely be improved - a bit of warmth especially after a long trip can go a long away. Luckily, the rest of the team was very nice and the rest of the stay went perfectly. The food is also great, there’s a tennis/ pickleball court and good entertainment at the end of the day too. The beach is not private but more as a designed area but it’s attended and again, very good experience. I’d definitely book it again!

Positive: The staff are super kind and super helpful! I love how there was always an activity going on at the hotel so you can never be bored. The design of the hotel was lovely, from the lobby to the rooms and the statues. Strongly recommend!! Negative: Nope, everything was perfect!

I just got home from an incredible stay at S Hotel Montego Bay and I'm still dreaming about this place. My Ocean View suite was absolutely breathtaking as the ocean was so turquoise blue every single morning and both the sunrise and sunset were incredible from the balcony. The bathroom reminded me of a fancy spa with its rainfall shower and soaking tub. The soaking tub was positioned so you could have a relaxing evening with views of the ocean. It was a 10/10. The hotel's two pools are spectacular - especially the rooftop infinity pool with incredible views making it perfect for sunset cocktails! The pool near the beach is also amazing and they have great music and vibes everyday going on there! The beachfront location on Doctor's Cave Beach has crystal-clear turquoise water and white sand just steps away. I loved the all-inclusive dining selection (probably the best buffet I’ve ever tried!) I highly recommend booking your Jamaica vacation at S Hotel Montego Bay. It offers the perfect blend of luxury and authentic Caribbean vibes.
