9 Best Adults-only All-inclusive Resorts in Jamaica

"A boutique, trend-forward beachfront property located on a famed local stretch of sand, known for a laid-back vibe, strong local flavor and standout dining—restaurants include a gallery-like venue featuring Jamaican artist prints and a grill concept that cooks meats and seafood on heated rocks. Guests enjoy a rooftop pool with reggae beats, a holistic spa with subterranean plunge pools and island-inspired scrubs, and contemporary rooms that range from cabana-access units to suites with soaking tubs. Its central Montego Bay location puts guests near lively nightlife, so it’s better suited to those who want energy rather than seclusion." - Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman Lauren Dana Ellman is a New York-based writer and editor who specializes in travel, lifestyle, food, and shopping content. The Best Hotels in the World: 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards

"At S Hotel you get the laid-back vibe of a stay in Jamaica with a bit of South Beach glitz—they even line the deck of their sleek pool with some of the island’s famous white sand. If that isn’t enough sand for your liking, the hotel also offers private access to idyllic Doctor’s Cave Beach and its gentle surf. Inside, the ocean view rooms are big enough to pass for apartments in some big cities. And they lay a minimalist black and white color scheme over a beachy aesthetic (think, lots of wicker furniture, including covering the bathtub) that will leave you feeling maximally relaxed. If it doesn’t, there’s always the Irie Baths and Spa, which has three underground plunge pools (hot, warm, and cold) that provide kinetic energy therapy and send you out feeling totally relaxed, in addition to the usual the massages and skin treatment options." - CNT Editors

I spent my birthday here and honestly I had an amazing one. The FOOD was on point, not one flavour short, the staffs were absolutely amazing, they were very friendly, especially Delroy! Customer service on point. The hotel is very CLEAN nothing out of place, it is well kept. I love the lifelike status of heroes and other jamaican icons. Overall the ambience was great. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

I had an unforgettable three-night stay at this all-inclusive resort in Montego Bay. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. A special thank you goes to Monique Bendison, who made our check-in smooth and pleasant while assisting with our reservation. The dining experience was nothing short of phenomenal—every meal was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The rooftop pool views were breathtaking, and the servers there were always courteous, friendly, and attentive, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Delroy is the man! He is very pleasant, friendly and understands customer service. I loved the combination of options, from relaxing by the multiple pools to taking a short walk to the beach, giving me the best of both worlds. This property truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and warm Jamaican hospitality in Montego Bay. Definitely worth it!

Our family stayed at the S Hotel, Montego Bay May 7 to May 14, 2025 to celebrate our family reunion, for six of us are siblings who were born in Jamaica but the others had come to love the island for its connection to family. Our group was large, for it included 17 members with one member requiring accommodation for a wheelchair. The hotel was very helpful and considerate in ensuring he had access to his guest room and all the facilities at the hotel. The location of the hotel on Doctor’s Cave Beach and its proximity to nearby shops and the airport made our stay enjoyable as well as convenient. The beach was wonderful, clean, and valued patrons’ privacy. We enjoyed the food. The all inclusive menu was varied, offering a variety of Jamaican specialties as well as Western food. Like a true Jamaican host the food was served with a generous hand. The service was impeccable; all the staff were kind, polite, and helpful. The activities and games were fun. When one of the sisters met the pastry chef, Chef offered to make us a special sweet potato pudding to celebrate our reunion. It was a sweet offer showing how much the values of Jamaica haven’t changed; that family is and always will be a central value.

Celebrating my mom's 70th BDay in Jamaica at the S Hotel was simply amazing. The food, the entertainment, the customer service and the other guest. You really did not have to leave the resort for nothing. We had an ocean view and to wake up with the Sun overlooking the Ocean was Heaven. My mom really enjoyed herself and I cant wait to visit the S Hotel again. Thanks to the amazing STAFF for all that you did to make my mom and I feel so special. OH NOTE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR MONEY AT THE AIRPORT.. THEY CHARGE SO MUCH AND MAJORITY OF THE PLACES TAKE OR WANT YOUR MONEY. YOU ARE ABLE TO USE YOUR VISA, MC, OR CASH, CASHAPP.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport and on an iconic boulevard of the city, which makes getting around easy. The food, activities and events offered will allow you to fully enjoy Jamaica. Thank you to the entire team at the S Hotel, I highly recommend it.

I stayed at the S Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and everything about my experience was perfect—from the stunning lobby to the breathtaking beach views. One of my favorite moments was relaxing by the poolside at night, where the views were absolutely gorgeous. Dinner at the RockSteady restaurant was a highlight, with dishes that were both delicious and beautifully plated. The buffet also became a favorite and I honestly wished I could take the food home with me! 😂 The staff were exceptional: warm, polite, and attentive, truly making my stay even more memorable. I also loved the live music and evening entertainment, which added such a vibrant touch. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I can’t wait to return and relive the experience!

We holidayed with my partner, our two 20-something ‘kids’ and their highly energetic grandma in tow…EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations.||The photos look wonderful, but the S Hotel is even better appointed in real life. ||Although far from large, it is, hands down, one of my favourite resort or hotel stays by far. The attention to detail was ‘par excellence’ at every level.||Some highlights - ||Ambience: Chillaxed, thoughtful, unfussy luxury.||Food: A totally delicious Jamaican buffet, with lots of other dining options, too.||Service: Effortless, attentive, and detail-oriented.||Appointment: Money was lavished where it mattered, with exquisite taste showcased throughout.||Vibe: The poolside lifestyle was probably the best of any hotel I have ever visited. As a swimmer, I am often disappointed when hotels favour squiggly, wiggly pools but the S Hotel’s pool was straight and long enough for laps but also incredibly charming too (thanks to the beautiful, spacious, red-cushioned cabanas and loungers all around it)||The pool also had stepped access along all sides, so you could step down from your lounger with ease - from any side. All of this was framed by the view of palm trees and the beach beyond—a perfect sunset vista. ||The beach itself was also beautifully furnished, with equally attentive service. I could go on, but I will instead leave you with two tips:||1. The cafe is a hidden gem…always cool, with a selection of fresh-cut sandwiches, rumballs, and freshly squeezed juices all day.||2. Take your favourite person - and a cocktail — up to the hammock chairs on the sixth floor at sunset for an experience of deep serenity, watching the sun dip into the sea.
