S-Rank Chicken

Stumbled upon this hidden gem absolutely by random luck. Originally I was looking a that old school burger place near by, and saw this come up as nearby! And I am super happy to find this. The place is in a warehouse area. Mainly catering take out or probably delivery. Almost wanna call it a hole-in-a-wall place. Rather hard to find. But its worth looking for it! The fried chicken is Soooooooo juicy! The veggie topic is fresh. The sauce actually goes surprisingly well with the poutine! So we order 2 sandwiches, a chicken poutine and a medium order of wings . And we totally have food coma half way through! The portion is very genoirous! We still have stuff left for dinner! Also the staff is super nice and helpful! Definitely gonna repeat

Fantastic prices for very high quality food. The portion sizes were much larger than expected. Since everything is cooked to order, there's a wait time of approximately 20 minutes. However you can order online on their website before you get there. The chicken sandwich was huge and quite unique as the bread is sealed all around which has the benefit of keeping all the ingredients inside. The person working there was super considerate and asked if we wanted it sliced in half and whether to wrap them together or individually. If you don't like spicy but like the gochujang based yangnyeom sauce, this one isn't spicy but retains the strong taste. The chicken poutine used cheese curds and the sauce on the chicken worked really well with everything else. If you have an allergy, they do use peanut oil to fry everything but they advertise this quite widely. All their chicken is halal which is rare for Korean fried chicken which makes this a great option. There is quite a bit of parking as most of the other units are industrial kitchens. It is a takeout only place but is absolutely worth making a trip for.

Visited S-Rank Chicken in Toronto for lunch. Parking was easy, and the spot is small and simple, mainly for takeout. The one staff member working was friendly, and pricing felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich $9.99 on egg brioche and asked for it to be cut in half to share. The chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy, juicy, and flavorful. You can customize your order with toppings and sauce, which adds a nice touch. I chose their yangnyeom sauce, which had good flavor but wasn’t spicy at all. The bun was dense, seemed a bit overbaked, and didn’t have enough sauce to balance it. The UFO-style shape was interesting but left the edges too dry for me and my friend's liking. I’d come back just for the chicken next time. Everything’s made to order, so expect about a 20-minute wait. Ordering online helps make pickup smoother since payment is done through their single kiosk. Overall, great chicken!

Overall: 4.8/10 Presentation: 7.9/10 Service: 7.0/10 A friend and I came for lunch and I'll say this right off the bat, maybe our order was just off but we both got sick from our order of chicken 😭 hence the low rating. The best part was the breading, it was well adhered on and crispy. The chicken itself was very grey, seemed improperly marinated (needed an acid). The sauce (yangnyeom) that was glazed on was way too sweet/syrupy, it also could've used an acid like rice vinegar and some savory notes to balance out. Probably will not be visiting again, but I hope that either we just got a bad batch, or they make some improvements.

S-Rank??? More like SSS-Rank. Highly reccomend the KFC Poutine, and their Cheesey Chicken Sandwich! Chrunchiest and crispiest Korean Fried Chicken I've had in the GTA area thus far. We stumbled across this place thanks to Google. Its incredibly difficult to find, but trust Google Maps lol. Should be a bit past the Comfy TCG Card Shop. Portions sizes are fair and filling! There is no seating area so we ate immediately in our car, also- the employee was HILARIOUS...always started a sentence with "My boss said...", absolutely fantastic service, top notch and super kind and helpful. Love this place and ever since Drunken Chicken closed down... This is now my new go to Korean Fried Chicken spot! 💕

Happy 101st post! The fried chicken pieces were big and had high quality chicken. Only outmatched by the quality of the gentleman behind the counter! He was super friendly and made me feel like I was back in Korea! Highly recommend and will be back!

The owner runs this place entirely by himself. He's very friendly and positive, and his food is delicious. Juiciest fried chicken I've ever had, with generous portions and at a very affordable price. The chicken sandwich is huge! If you're picking up food, it's a little hard to find as it's a small door in the side of the warehouse, but inside is a bright and clean little kitchen. Definitely worth the trip.

2025 May 4.5★ Located in a more commercial property with a dock. This place is so unassuming and hidden. You open the door and it's such a different environment. Modern yet bland and functional - only a counter, a touchscreen with a payment system. Fried Chicken Sandwich 9.99 Fresh, never-frozen, succulent halal Korean fried chicken in the flavour of your choice topped with fresh crunchy lettuce, hearty tomato slices, flavourful red onion, and tangy pickles all enveloped i n a custom baked egg brioche. Exactly as described... Very good. Korean fried chicken boneless.. Snack size 9.99 about 8 pieces. Very good. Crispy and not oily at all. Light. Certainly different than others. Would recommend. Service was honestly professional. While this place is in the alley, take out only, it's really worth checking out. Would come again.
