D.O.C Pizza & Mozzarella Bar - Carlton

This place serves delicious, fresh pizza in a generous size. The staff is very friendly, making the experience even better. They also have a dish similar to our Egyptian 'messkea' with eggplant, which I really enjoy. Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth trying! 😁

Food was amazing and delicious. I ordered the Pizza San Daniele and lasagna were made with fresh ingredients and not too oily. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reservation is recommended

Absolutely fantastic experience! The pizza was incredible and the customer service was outstanding. The Doc Pizza and Spec Pizza were both full of flavor and perfectly made, and the tiramisu was hands down amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough! 🍕✨

D.O.C Pizza & Mozzarella Bar in Carlton is seriously impressive. It delivers a truly authentic Italian atmosphere — lively, warm, and full of character. The service is excellent: friendly, attentive, and on point without being overbearing. The pizza is next level — easily the standout — and pairing it with the perfect wine takes it up another notch. And whatever you do, leave room for dessert. The tiramisu is a must and finishes the meal perfectly. A top-tier spot that lives up to its reputation.

DOC Pizza & Mozzarella Bar is basically *heaven by the slice* 🍕🇮🇹 — crispy base, rich tomato, and that mozzarella so fresh it feels like it’s whispering sweet nothings to your taste buds. Every bite screams authenticity, like you’ve been teleported straight to Naples with just a fork and a dream. The calzone? Don’t even get me started — molten, stretchy, and criminally good. It’s the kind of meal that makes you want to stand up and clap after the first bite 👏🔥. But ah… here comes the heartbreak 💔 — limited seating and long wait times. You can smell the pizza before you can even *see* the table you’ll be waiting for 😭. Standing outside, watching others devour theirs while you contemplate life choices… it’s an emotional journey. Still, once that hot plate lands in front of you, all is forgiven. The service runs like a well-oiled Vespa and the vibes are pure Italian chaos (in the best way). 10/10 taste, 6/10 patience required. Would queue again — maybe with snacks to survive the wait 🍷😅.

This place immediately took me back to Italy. We started with the Antipasto. The Focaccia and picante red peppers on that plate were phenomenal, along with the meat and olive selection. We then got the Polpette meatballs which were pretty good and tender. We then enjoyed the Sopressa pizza which was very excellent. The crust was fluffy and delicious! We ended with the Nutella Calzoncino which was sooo good! The sweet, fluffy bread, stuffed with nutella. This is a MUST! Our waiter Sergio was absolutely fantastic! Our service never skipped a beat as he was literally holding the restaurant down. He did a great job walking us through the menu and giving us the best food recommendations. My only regret was not getting the Lasagna which looked incredible and we were told was amazing. If we are ever back in Melbourne, this will be our first stop!

This is the Second time I’ve been here and been served by alessandro this is the best pizza coffee I’ve had in Australia and the service is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.
