THE BLOSSOM KYOTO

Lovey hotel where the staff and amenities make you feel right at home. When you arrive, you are sat down and welcomed with a macha or coffee - such a nice touch. Rooms are spacious with a lovely deep bath and soft beds. Breakfast was nice and well priced. Location was generally good - close to the market, Kyoto station and Pontocho alley. The onsen was also lovely as was the snack room which had a good selection of drinks and snacks - this would have been great for families. Just be aware that the hotel is across the road from a fire station so there are sirens once in a while - didn’t bother me as I wear earplugs to sleep, but probably would have otherwise. All in all a lovely stay.

The check-in service was excellent. Staff welcomed us as soon as we arrived and offered welcome drinks and snacks, which made a very good first impression. The overall hotel design and decoration were also very nice and well maintained. However, after entering the room, I noticed blood stains on one of the pillows. This was quite unpleasant and made me concerned about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the room. Overall, the service was great, but the cleanliness issue was disappointing and affected my stay.

The hotel is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable place to stay while exploring Kyoto. One of the biggest advantages is the location — it’s very convenient, close to public transport, restaurants, and key areas of the city, which makes getting around easy and stress-free. The neighborhood feels calm yet well connected. The rooms are well maintained and cozy, with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. While not very spacious (as expected in Kyoto), they are functional, quiet, and nicely laid out. Service was polite and professional, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxed and welcoming. The common areas are well designed and add to the experience. Overall, THE BLOSSOM KYOTO is a solid 4-star option offering good comfort, great location, and reliable service. A good choice for travelers looking for quality without going overboard on luxury.

We stayed here for three nights with our teenagers, in two rooms, and absolutely loved this hotel. It was immaculate, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful.||At one point I thought I had lost my purse, and the reception staff were unbelievably kind and supportive. It turned out to be my mistake as I later found it, but they truly went above and beyond to help me.||The onsen is clean and beautiful—perfect after a long day of walking.||The complimentary snacks were exceptional, with drinks, ice creams, and nuts available. Such a thoughtful and generous touch.||If we return to Kyoto, we will definitely stay here again.

I stayed there with my mum & my 7 yo daughter. They gave us welcome matcha ice cream drinks, some cookies were available for guests. Friendly staff, spacious room, a clean bath house made us feel relaxed after a tiring walking day in Kyoto. Highly recommended. I would stay there if I visit Kyoto again.

I loved this hotel so much of all the places I stayed in Japan between Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. Such a beautiful property! The welcome drink and treat was yummy and thoughtful. The room was spacious and the layout was well thought out. Staff were friendly and professional. The amenities were great and access times were good. The laundry machines can get busy fast but found it easiest during the day between checkout and check in. Close by many things we did during our time here and a pharmacy, McDonald’s, convenience store and market nearby. The only place I will stay when I come back to Kyoto!

The hotel check in experience is top notch! It was quick, easy and the free coffee was a lovely touch. The room is huge! Were a group of 3 and there's Plenty of space! The bathroom is amazing! The guest room has drinks and snacks, and the in-house bathhouse is beautiful. 10/10 would recommend, will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Good design - modern and fresh. The bath is excellent. The mini bar for guests next to the bath is great. With coffee and ice popsicles. The rooms are generally clean. We had a slanted mattress- they were responsive and tried their best to assist.
