"Eating at Red Lion Pub in Montrose means you might run into an entire football (that’s soccer to us Americans) team, people yelling intensely at football (still soccer) on TV, and someone next to you enunciating the word “pint” while ordering beer. Determining where the English cosplay begins and ends at Red Lion proves difficult, but the bar stocks enough whisky and English or Irish beer to get you saying, “God Save The Queen'' regardless. Grab a bar stool or wood-paneled booth and order up a stomach-busting portion of shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, or chicken tikka masala.
