Bar Nouveau

A beautiful, tiny bar. I really loved the interior, the mirror on the ceiling above the bar is a great idea. The place is very minimalist but charming. It’s quite small, yet we didn’t have to wait in line. We ordered two cocktails: Gustav and Parisian. Both were served in a very nice way. The Parisian was very minimalist, without any garnish. The Gustav was served in a pretty cup with clear ice, a slice of gold flake, and small flowers, very cute. I wanted to visit because the bar is in the Top 50, and I’ve already been to four other cocktail bars from this list. I was not disapointed.

Heard shout this place from the 50 best bars list. Now Paris has tons of amazing bars but this one feels even more special. We had Emilio take care of us and crafted us 6 of the 7 amazing drinks on the menu. (We almost finished it😅). Every drink was different, carefully crafted, and perfectly balanced. The Gustav was easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. We went at opening as it only has like 10 seats with no reservations. It feels extremely intimate and reminds me of bars in Tokyo. this is an easy six star experience. I’ve been to a few of the bars on the list and generally don’t live up to the expectations, Bar Nouveau definitely does.

Tiny place with a short and very exciting cocktail menu. We stopped here for a late aftenoon drink and didn't want to leave. The Irish coffee was to die for, and all the other drinks were terrific as well. Keep in mind this is a rather tiny spot, so coming off the peak hours might be advisable

Atmosphere: 6.5/10 Located in Paris, Bar Nouveau operates only on its upper level during summer months, as the lower floor — the main space for which the bar is actually known and ranked — remains closed due to reduced traffic. This makes the experience feel incomplete and limits guests to a small, less distinctive bar area where, during peak hours, many stand due to limited seating. The decision to close the floor that houses the bar’s most unique design elements for an entire season means visitors miss the very atmosphere the venue is celebrated for — a concept I don’t support. Without the proper back bar in use (since this isn’t their main serving area), the atmosphere loses visual impact, though the overall design elements are still cool and unique. Nice background music keeps the vibe pleasant. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Gustav Menu is extremely simple — just a single sheet listing seven drinks, which feels a little underwhelming for a venue of this standing. No coasters, but high-quality glassware and clean, attractive presentation. Garnishes vary by drink. Flavors are solid, and the drinks taste good for Paris standards. Service: 9/10 Water served on arrival. Bartender was very friendly and professional, creating a welcoming experience. Prices are average for Paris.

Easily the best cocktail bar experience we had in Paris. The space is intimate but very comfortable, small, yet you never feel crowded or overwhelmed by the people around you. The two cocktails we tried were truly special: one jasmine-infused and beautifully aromatic, the other topped with delicate gold leaf. Both were creative, balanced, and crafted with real attention to detail. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. He guided us perfectly, asked the right questions, and helped us choose exactly the right cocktails for our taste. During this trip, we visited four different cocktail bars in Paris. If we had to choose just one to return to, it would definitely be this one.

If they still have with a rotating menu, you must try the Ramos, which they prepare with yogurt and an old school milkshake blender. I also really enjoyed their Colonel, a lemon sorbet cocktail served with an over pour into a wooden box. The staff was extra welcoming and warm, asking your names and striking conversation. Bar space is super small, they can only fit about 20 people at once when the downstairs is closed (it was both times I went during winter). Highly recommend to only show up 1-4 people at most. We saw people try to come in with groups of 5+ that would end up leaving. If you show up while it's full, you wait outside and during the winter they came out to give us a tasty and warm aperitif that sold us on staying. We waited for 2 about 30-40 minutes both times we came around 5pm on a Friday and Saturday. Worthy of the top bars 2025, I would come back just for more of the Ramos

One of my favorite cocktail bars I have ever been to. Cozy atmosphere. Amazing service from the staff who knows everyone who is there and makes great recommendations. And the cocktails — wow. It is a small place so you may have to wait a few minutes, and spend some of your time standing. But it’s more than worth it.

lovely lovely lovely! the staff is amazing, the cocktails are tasty and creative without overdoing it. you can also order off the menu. we waited about 40 minutes for 2 on new year’s eve and it was crowded but enjoyable!
