I rarely leave reviews but this place is among many locals’ favorite. A small family-owned restaurant almost hidden in a small, busy street. This spot stands out with their well seasoned, tender, juicy and fatty pork cutlet that pairs really well with their homemade fish sauce. Along with amazing presentation, generous portion, this place offers value and quality for your money.

Got a portion to go in the morning knowing this place is only open until noon time. It is pretty good, but this street is narrow yet always has so much traffic so it is like you can never feel relaxed here.

The place is located in a small street nearby Thi Nghe market. Taste is good. Size is just about right. And price is so reasonable. I’m a regular customer of them. They open in early morning until sold out which should be before or after noon time.

If you are looking for a spot to taste the signature “broken rice” of Saigon. I recommend you to pay a visit to Com Tam 43. Juicy pork ribs with full flavor, and the sauce just so amazing. Highly recommended.

Random place but really good food and service

This place is without question the tastiest Com Tam in Saigon. And I would gladly debate anyone who says otherwise. It is an old-school joint: small, full of grill smoke, sweaty aunties taking orders and shouting them around you. That is how a Com Tam joint was 10 years ago, and this place kept the same atmosphere for more than a decade. The meat is dipped in a honey mixture and it is super soft for biting. The fish sauce here is on a god-tier level too!
