Our go‑to post‑pickleball and badminton tea time spot - simple, generous, and great value
A group of 5-6 of us finally gave this place a proper try last week after playing pickleball, going for their tea time set menu instead of the lunch and dinner menu. We wanted to try more of their food variety, and honestly, the tea menu is where this place really shines for value.
The tea set comes with a wide choice of drinks - hot or cold - all included, which is a nice touch. We had things like red bean drink with ice cream, black jello drink with ice cream, coffee, milk tea, and more. It's not fancy, but it's exactly what you'd want after a long game: something sweet, refreshing, and comforting without breaking the bank.
This is our casual, no‑fuss spot after pickleball or badminton with friends. The interior is modest - nothing fancy or trendy - but it feels like a real Hong Kong-style cha chaan teng or local Cantonese diner. The food tastes authentic, portions are very generous, and the prices are hard to beat. For example, you can get a meal with 7 chicken wings and a drink for just $9.95, or add fries for $13.95. It's hard to find that kind of value elsewhere.
Staff are friendly, though some are a bit shy compared to what you might see in many Western-style places - they're not super chatty, but they're definitely not rude. They get the job done and are happy to help when needed.
It's a great place for a big group, especially if you're used to sharing food the HK/Asian way. A few of our friends shared meals, and it worked perfectly - everyone could try a bit of everything without feeling like they had to order a full plate each.
If you haven't tried it yet, I'd say give it a go, especially if you're looking for a relaxed, affordable meal with friends after sports or just a casual hangout. Just don't expect fine dining - this is about good, authentic Cantonese/HK-style food, big portions, and great value at a modest price.
Let me know if you go - I'd love to hear what you liked and what you ordered!
