"Don’t blast past this easy-to-drive-by restaurant on the Seward Highway. Open since June 2017, Froth & Forage looks like an unassuming sandwich joint. And it does serve some sandwiches. But you’re not going to get, say, a ham and cheese. Nope. You’re going to get an open-faced shrimp scampi sandwich served with house-cut fries that are topped with truffle oil, garlic, and Parmesan. Oh, and the view out of the window is of Turnagain Arm and the mountains. It’s crazy beautiful. So now you see why you shouldn’t blast past? You’ll want to eat there again—and you can do that on your drive back to Anchorage."

Easily the highlight of my trip. The food was absolutely beautiful, the overall feel and atmosphere was welcoming and the staff genuinely just makes you feel good, so obvious that they care about food quality. I really can't find a negative to say about this place.

This place is amazing. My Rueben was the best I have ever had. Every bite was so delicious. The owner found out it was my birthday and made me fresh donuts with a candle. As well as lovely experimental soda creation that once again was delicious. This place is amazing the chef is skilled. His saying was “I just cook food that I would like to eat”. And “I don’t do it for the money, I wanna make people happy”. He succeeded with us. Great place best local restaurant right now. Go here.

This place is such a gem. Beautiful scenery all around, and delicious eats. The wait is a bit long, but it’s truly worth it. We enjoyed the reindeer tacos and the breakfast poutine which were both tasty.

We stopped in here for a quick coffee after a hike and were not disappointed! They have a beautiful view over Turnagain Arm, which you can see in the windows at the bar. The coffee does not disappoint us Seattleites, and besides this they have coconut milk. Incredible art, too!

Incredible food! The best farm-to-table place in the state. The owner used to be the chef at the Alyeska resort and now we are so lucky to have this gem in our city.

Cute and quaint little place. All local food and beyond worth the drive out. Amazing view and I cannot wait to go back. Drove from Wasilla and I cant wait to go back.

Definitely worth the beautiful drive from Anchorage! I'm not exaggerating when I say they have the BEST donuts I've ever had. And Girdwood beer on tap! New favorite brunch place for sure.

Update after the owner replied(1 star): we cancelled donuts right after we ordered so you lied here. I have never seen a business owner like you, even lie about you giving donut to other table. You made me laugh and showing how naive you are. You are not humble and not welling to accept customer feedback. I didn’t mention you guys were actually pretty rude when serving people. Thanks to your comment that confirmed this.. You( the person who commented) won’t make this business go anywhere. Good luck! Original comment: Everything tastes pretty good. Fair price. I would rate 4 star. However, they miscalculated our bill TWICE and charged more so that is the unfortunate and I have to give a 3 star here.
