Overall, the Shameful Tiki Room in Toronto was an absolute delight. They stay true to all the staples of a great tiki bar—completely closed off from the outside world, classic cocktails, and immersive storytelling through ambiance. The only thing missing is a water feature, but that’s a small note in an otherwise excellent experience. They’re doing so many things right. One of the owners hails from Las Vegas and pays homage to Sin City with playful nods to slot machines and other hidden details throughout the space. The food was a pleasant surprise. I don’t usually come to tiki bars for the food, and when I do order something it’s typically just a light bite to snack on between sips. Our host recommended the crab rangoon, which was delicious, and the happy hour fries were perfectly crispy. I also enjoyed the wings, especially their sweet, tangy glaze. The cocktails were beautifully garnished and served in tiki mugs or glassware that truly elevated the presentation. On this visit, I skipped the classic tiki drinks in favor of the bar’s originals and was impressed by the range of flavors. The menu offered everything from spirit-forward options to sweeter sips, and the cocktailsmiths didn’t shy away from alternative ingredients like pandan—experiments that truly paid off.

This is one of my new favourite bars to go to! The decorations and vibe is perfect and the drinks are really fun. I believe if you order a drink from “The Bowl” section, a specific recording/music will start to play as the lights dim. It was fun seeing people order from that section of the menu and seeing what kind of music would play. The drinks in general were very cool and I’m excited to come back and try more!

If you're looking to escape the ordinary and dive headfirst into a tropical paradise, the new Shameful Tiki Bar on Queen West is calling your name. For years, I was a devotee of their original Parkdale haunt, drawn in by its intimate, rum-soaked atmosphere and expertly crafted cocktails. Now, with a new, larger home at 777 Queen Street West, the vibe is still very much alive, just with more room for fellow tiki fanatics to get lei'd (no not that kind). Stepping inside, you're immediately transported. The larger space is a welcome change, allowing more room for the a bamboo-lined, dimly lit sanctuary that Shameful Tiki is known for. It's the perfect spot to gather with friends and lose track of time. But let's be real, the main event here has always been the drinks, and the new location doesn't disappoint. The cocktails are a masterclass in tropical perfection, each one served in its own unique, wonderfully kitschy glassware. It’s hard to pick a favourite from their extensive list, but the Painkiller stands out for its creamy, coconut-forward deliciousness—a solid 10/10 for someone like me who doesn't drink as much. This time around, I decided to pair my drinks with some of their famous snacks. The coconut shrimp was an absolute winner—perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of coconut flavour that didn't overwhelm the shrimp itself. A very respectable 9/10. Unfortunately, the mango habanero ginger wings didn't quite hit the mark for me. While I appreciated that they were grilled, the flavours were a bit muted, and they were on the dry side, which was disappointing. I'd give them a 5/10. Despite the wings, Shameful Tiki remains a fantastic destination. It’s the perfect spot to sip on some seriously cool drinks, hang out with friends, and soak in that undeniably escapist atmosphere. Just a heads-up: make sure your phone has enough charge to call an Uber or that you have a walking companion to get home safely.

Reservations definitely recommended, for groups of two you may get seated upstairs in a shared seating setting with another group of two which was kind of awkward but not the worst. Little bit on the louder side but drinks were fun and food surprising decent (but small portion sizes). Kimchi grilled cheese was probably the favourite food wise, crab rangoon was tasty but you only get 4 small pieces.

This place is super fun, love the atmosphere and the drink options. The drinks are really strong and great if you love rum. The workers are so friendly and enthusiastic! Would definitely come back

The best place to go to if you want to have AMAZING drinks and some finger food. The cocktails sound fun, taste smashing and zero hangover. Must try!

The atmosphere and vibe is too good and just like a tiki bar on tropical island. We had really too much fun as we were celebrating my friend’s birthday we were placed in a shack kind of set up. It is a little pricey and food is average and drinks are too expensive and mostly ice. We are asked to pay 25$ for cake cutting fee even we got the cake from outside but we didn’t know if they had policy as such from beginning but that’s alright. Again good place but food was alright and drinks were too less for the price.

The bar has such tropical, Hawaiian vibes — from the tiki-inspired décor to the refreshing island cocktails. The laid-back atmosphere, and vibrant colors make you feel like you’ve escaped to paradise. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, sip, and soak in those island feels. 🍹🌴

Service, drinks and atmosphere are always amazing! Just enough food on the menu where you can make it your dinner stop or just appetizers before moving on to your next stop for dinner. Always look forward to a night at the Shameful Tiki!!

Shameful tiki is always a great time, I love how attentive the bartenders are and the ambiance of the place is great! While the food menus is a hit or miss for me, the drinks make up for it. The mystery bowl and group drinks are fun sharable that come with their own smoke show or bell. My personal favourite is the Painkiller. (Think pina colda without the slush)

Have been here a few times before and supported this location and the Vancouver OG since inception. Tonight we made reservations to help celebrate their 9th year anniversary. We were seated in a timely manner at a two top In between the bar and table section. The drinks were good not great. The rum, gin and tequila selection ls have really gone downhill on menu drinks. Bacardi is the rum of choice. Yuck. I expected more of a nine year old tiki bar. Perhaps you can upgrade your rum for a price. Prices are high as is every other bar in Toronto. Know what you're in for. If the drink had quality ingredients, I'd happily pay a high price. What also made this a three star review were the mug prices. $250 for an anniversary mug? Really? I'd rather pay for a plane ride and buy one from Vancouver for more than half that price. The next lowest priced anniversary mug was 120 and is the exact same design Vancouver used for their 11th anniversary. High merch prices, subpar tiki drinks, and rushed service staff makes me want yo think twice about coming here again. If you're ever in Vancouver, try the original location.

When a friend of mine from Montreal comes to Toronto, she and her husband visit The Shameful Tiki Room. I've never been so Gord and I checked it out last night. Fun time! We sat at the bar and chatted with Brendan, the bartender. There is a large menu of fun drinks. Gord had a Navy Grog and Zombie. I left it up to Brendan to choose for me and he made me a Tradeswind and a Scull and Bones. We asked Brendan for his favourite, which was a Blackbeard's Ghost.

Excellent and solid tiki bar in Toronto. We went there right when they are open at 5 pm so it's very quiet still. I talked with the bartender and he told me that his face is cobra's fang. So cobra fang's it. Super well balanced I'm so happy with the drink. For my second drink I got Tortuga that will soon be on the menu. That's the highlight of the day to me. Super balanced tiki cocktails My friend ordered zombie, I liked it too but cobra's fang definitely more superior. Loved the ambiance and the all the cute thing like making sounds/noises from the sort of cymbals that they did when customers ordered the bowl (to serve from 2 to 5 people) When I left around 7 pm the place started to pack up. So be sure to make reservation for the prime time. Talk with the bartender because they definitely know what they doing

We arrived right when it opened, at 5PM, and the restaurant was empty. The service was quick, and the waitress was kind enough to let us take a booth seat even though they are usually reserved for groups larger than 2 people. The food was decent, but I wouldn't return for it; it's definitely more of a place for drinks with their extensive drink menu. The overall vibe of the place makes the restaurant name very appropriate; the decor was abundant and there was always something new to look at, even in the dimly lit room. If I was looking for drinks, I would consider returning to The Shameful Tiki Room.

Yes yes yes!! Amazing and fun place!! It's REALLY dark inside when you first enter but your eyes will adjust. Fun decor and vibe all around. We ordered a mystery tiki boat. If you order a mystery drink, it will often come with fire, as well as lights and sound from the bar. Our bartender was hilarious and wonderful! He even created a special drink for my friend who has diabetes and can't have all the sugar in a typical tiki drink. He welcomed the challenge. He even made himself available in case I needed help with a patron who was not respecting my physical space. The bartender was willing to kick him out of the bar if I was uncomfortable. The Buffalo fries are so delicious!!! I also really enjoyed my Caesar salad. If I lived in Toronto, I would definitely be a regular here!

Went on a Tuesday night and the vibes were immaculate. Staff was super friendly and attentive but also let my friend and I catch up. Drinks were amazing, just wish some of the snacks were a bit bigger. Still overall a fantastic experience!

Such a funky, fresh and cool hang out place with friends!!! The first time I went to the tiki room was in Vancouver on a sat and needless to say, it was packed with a minimum an hour wait. I walked out super disappointed so I was extremely excited when I found out we also have a tiki room in parkdale! I gathered a group of friends and made a reservation (yes you can make reso) arrived on a Monday night. It wasn't as rowdy as I have imagined but it was a Monday night after all. The waitress told us it is always packed on the weekends. I love their drink menu, it's tropical and colourful like the decor of the place. Whenever a customer order the mystery bowl or volcano bowl, the server would scream out the drink's name and steam would come out from the bar. Gimmicky? probably, but I loved it! If your are in the area, you have to check it out!

I LOVE IT HERE!!!! Ambiance. Music. Drinks. Service. Food. I'm here for the first time. I absolutely love creative cocktails and this menu is feeding my soul. So many options to choose from. Sam and Shannah were amazing. Sam made my drinks and Shannah was just a delightful host. I strongly recommend for a date, small group or a solo trip like mine. Enjoy!

DRINKS | My friends and I made a reso to come here for Friday night drinks. The menu is super extensive, there are so many different drinks to choose from! My friend and I decided to split a mystery bowl ($25), which came out with some theatrics performed by the staff. The drinks are definitely very bang-for-your-buck... This is definitely a great place to have some pre-drinks before going out for the night! SERVICE | Our server walked us through the menu multiple times and was very attentive throughout our entire time there. They even let us stay past our reservation time slot, even though it was a pretty busy Friday night. AMBIANCE | There are no windows and everything is decorated super on-theme; it really does feel like an authentic tiki bar. VERDICT | Can't wait to come back here and try their other drinks! *Fair warning, the four barrel drinks are very strong*

Their policy on yelp is a scam - It says tables with at least 6 people will have the automatic 18% tip added to their bill. My table had 5 people and they still forced it on us - Go look at Google reviews too, other people had the same issue.

My friend took me to this bar to give me a unique experience. From the outside, one can't tell what's inside. However, step inside and it's a very different place! It felt like I travelled far away from home. The decor was fantastic- from the antique posters on the walls to the dim red and blue lighting throughout, everything was exciting! This evening, our server was a young man with a cool island shirt. As we don't drink much alcohol, we ordered Designated Driver and Uka Aku. Also, we ordered coconut shrimp, fries, and popcorn cauliflower. Our drinks were refreshing and everything tasted great! The coconut shrimp was delicious- each shrimp was crispy and succulent. The fries were hot and lightly spicy, yum! The popcorn cauliflowers were warm and soft, each bite was heavenly. If you want to travel far away without taking the plane, come to this bar! You'll be greeted warmly by the employees and you'll soon relax with good food and drinks!

Really fun vibe for a night out. The cocktails were tasty (I especially loved the Painkiller served in an empty coconut milk can) and our server Hayden was excellent. Food was okay but it's a Tiki Bar not a Michelin star restaurant so I wasn't expecting it to be amazing. The drinks and vibe is why you go.

This place makes you feel like you have been transported to a bar in hawaii. The vibe and ambience is on point, you cannot go wrong with this place. There are many drinks that you can order here which have special effects and theatrics when the drinks are presented which is v cool to see. The service was quick considering the crowd.

Amazing hidden gem in Parkdale. Friendly staff and service. The ambiance is spot on with the tiki themed. Not to mention it's such a non-descript retail frontage that all of this extra-ness for the sake of tiki is all the more delight and surprise. The drinks were great -- the wiki-weiki (spelling?) was my fav. Great late night drinking spot.

I had this place on my list for a while and as it happened, I got to try it twice in one week with two different groups! If you're looking for fun delicious drinks and good snack food, I highly recommend it. We got everything on their snack menu and it was delicious. The meal menu doesn't look very exciting so we didn't try. Fun vibe, friendly staff, great drinks and reasonable prices. I'll definitely keep it on my list.

Wasn't my cup of tea personally -- both the various performance elements (like the gong and the waiters chanting "Mystery") and the drinks themselves were kind of indistinguishable aside from being quite sweet. But I realize this is what a tiki bar is supposed to be, and they definitely played that part well - ambiance was lively but not too loud, lighting was "moody" but not uncomfortably dark; all the presentations were creative and eye-catching.

The atmosphere here is dope. Love the vibe. So many and too many lovely tasty drinks to choose from. The service here is really great. It's a must place to visit and at least try.

Its a small place, nice cozy, a bit dark, with nice music old style. The drink menu is really big and good choices and taste amazing. You can feel the freshness in the drinks. The servers are good too. You have a time limit , like max 2 hours.

On my first trip to Canada, I wanted to do the most Canadian things possible. So naturally, I went to The Shameful Tiki, a Polynesian themed hangout in downtown Toronto. Sadly the kitchen was already closed when we got there, but the bar was pumping like nobody's business. The Polynesian decor provided a bright and lively haven away from the cold Canadian wind. The very tropical vibes make you forget that you were just wearing a down jacket less than two minutes ago. We ordered a couple rounds from their extensive drink menu. There's a cocktail combination for most alcohol, and they even have a couple wine based and non-alcoholic options as well. The service was incredible and the jukebox kept belting out surfer and punk rock tunes, keeping the seaside vibes alive. I highly recommend this tropical oasis when you're in the Great White North, for some fun times, great drinks, and an escape from the cold.

This is a really cool Tiki bar! We sat at the bar and some of the stools had hooks by them which was good, I love places with hooks. They have an extensive drink menu. We both got mai thais and loved them. Very strong, you really only need one drink. When someone ordered a bowl it was a really cool experience, light flashed and smoke went off. It was like a show! It has a great vibe and awesome atmosphere. The crab rangoon and the coconut shrimp where good too. Just 4 pieces each, but no complaints on flavor or anything. Minus a star for their dirty bathrooms, lots of water on the ground and toilet paper everywhere.

Exciting tiki themed ambiance bar with boozy drinks. On the outside this place may seem a bit sketch and has an entry way that prevents immediate views, but inside its very welcoming. You instantly feel islander vibes, and this space and there's music that goes with specialty drinks. The drinks are very strong but they're delicious. The bartenders choice shots are a good way to go too because you don't really know what you're getting but you won't be disappointed. Definitely we'll worth visiting.

I've been here 4 times. This is a themed tiki bar with themed tiki drinks. If you like that-- you will like this place. This is not a hardcore Barchef artisanal spot but it is also not as expensive as one and is more fun. This is like a good entry level fun date spot for people who like fun cocktails. This location is in Parkdale and has a very indescript entrance, borderline secret type entrance. Resevations are not that hard to get but don't try to walk in cuz it's usually packed cuz this place is popular. I've tried almost every drink on the menu. Tiki drinks are all typically fruity tropical drinks with rum, gin, or vodka. Think passionfruit juice, pineapple, coconut. All the stuff Hawaii grows in the ground. This can be a bit repetitive but the goal of this place is to serve every type of Tiki drink, not to give you some insane travel the globe taste every type of epicurean liquor on the planet experience like Barchef or Mother. Those are a different type of bar. Also half the cost of those places. Shameful Tiki covers the Tiki genre probably the best in the city and that's why they're a long standing establishment. They know their lane and deliver the fun. Servers and barspeed is always fast too which I appreciate. They got it well oiled. They also have some small bar food as well like a basket of fries and chicken fingers which are also very reasonably priced. The prices are really good for the booze quantity, and the ambiance is fun with the volcano going off. It's like Rainforest cafe for alcohol consuming adults in a good way. I hope the prices stay at this level because inflation has been so bad, every other cocktail bar I go to in the city I'm paying $30 a drink after and tip. I paid $30 for a blue lagoon on King St. yesterday that would have been better quality at Shameful for 12 bucks. Shameful Tiki keeps it real around $13 on average for 2-3oz alcohol drinks. The prices are so reasonable here for a date spot with this much booze I will legit probaly continue to go here just due to how good the pricing is for the ambiance. It's like a baller dive almost with volcanoes. Fun for birthdays! They also have the punch bowls which you can attempt to consume as a team if you want. I prefer just to get multiples of each cocktail so I can try their fairly long list I think they have like 30 options lol. Part of me even wants to actually get a copy of their menu to put on the wall cuz it's such a beautifully drawn menu. Keep up the good work Shameful Tiki. I'm sad to see Toronto lose so many bars and clubs due corporate condo construction due to how badly our city is planned. We need more chill spots that aren't a king st bar or a total dive just to hang out with friends. I hope Shameful Tiki can do a good 20-30 year run in the city if not longer.

In a few words: BEST tiki bar in Toronto! Everything from the ambience, interior decoration, vibe, drinks selection - they all give you the tropical Hawaiian feeling without ever hopping on a plane. The interior is decorated to make you feel like you're having tropical drinks under beach huts. The drinks selection is another reason that makes this place shine. All their drinks are colourful, tasty, and served in creative & inventive devices that make them really fun to share with friends. I came here for my birthday celebration with a group of 10+ people, and ordered a wide variety of drinks. There is a loud volcano eruption sound every time someone in the restaurant orders a Volcano Bowl. It creates a really lively and fun atmosphere! The drinks menu contains a rating of how strong each drink is. They're mostly rum-based cocktails, but there are other spirits-based cocktails as well (including gin and vodka mixes). I love that a lot of the drinks contain coconut, pineapple, and other tropical flavours. The Shameful Tiki Bar remains as one of my favourite places in the city for a great night out.

Came here for a drink when my friends and I were in town this past summer. We were lucky to get seated by the bar as it seems like you'd normally have to make a reservation to get in otherwise. Once seated and situated, I decided to get their Blue Hawaii, which was pretty good and what you'd expect. Our bartender was really cool, though, and he listened to us talk about our desire to visit many parts of the US. He then decided to make us shots that he said tasted like a gas station and strangely enough, it did! The shots he made us tasted like iced tea and beef jerky, haha. I don't remember his name, but he was bald and had a big beard. I'm sure if you asked him to make you a custom cocktail, he would be happy to oblige as well. Would definitely come back if I happened to be in Toronto again, and would recommend to others who happen to be in the GTA and also happens to be fond of tiki bars.

I have had Shameful Tiki flagged on my ever-expanding Yelp bookmark list for a while. When I saw this bar's name appear in a recent virtual Yelp event invitation, I jumped on it immediately. We are all self-isolating during this pandemic, but having a nice pick-me-up cocktail or two is needed. I dropped by to pick up a batch of Pain Killer, a cocktail drink. Such a fitting name! I had a nice e-mail exchange with Alana, the owner of Shameful Tiki, the day before my pickup date. She responded extremely fast to every message. I prepaid, let her know when I'd drop by, texted her ten minutes away from the bar (we are both so trusting to give out our cell numbers), and let her know that I was outside the bar upon my arrival. It was a perfectly safe pickup. She said hi and was super friendly. She came out of the bar to hand my order to me. I got my goodies in a paper bag, thanked her, and happily walked away. The Pain Killer is a pre-made batch consisting of pineapple juice, coconut cream, and a hint of orange juice. The idea is that you add your own ice and rum, and you're set! If you're interested in a virgin version of this beverage, it holds up on its own. I had a sip before I added the rum. It wasn't overly sweet, which is how I like it. The pineapple juice tasted so fresh. I also love anything with coconut cream in it. I am a fan of rum that I'm fully stocked during this pandemic... haha! The Pain Killer is amazing! Alana added a few beverage accessories in the paper bag, including nutmeg. Who knew that grating nutmeg on top of this drink would kick it up several notches?! So delicious! I am now hooked on pineapple juice and coconut cream together. Although I don't own an authentic tiki mug or glass, Alana suggested using something as simple as a mason jar. I happen to have one with a handle. It was the perfect vessel for my beverage. I added pineapple-shaped ice to add to the tropical vibe. During this pandemic, Shameful Tiki offers a number of takeout batches. The catch is that you must order food along with your cocktail batch order. I may have to order something and drop down again. I fetched my goodies on Wednesday at around 2 pm. Traffic along the Gardiner Expressway was almost nonexistent. It was an enjoyable drive to and from the bar. I don't mind doing it again and visiting my hometown, even if it's for a brief moment. I parked across the street from Shameful Tiki. I was in the neighhourhood for perhaps ten minutes. I paid $0.50 for 15 minutes of parking. I'd rather be safe than ticketed. I can't wait to drop by and order a drink at this place when the coast is clear. It was wonderful meeting Alana. I thoroughly enjoyed the Pain Killer and hope to try more cocktails soon. (162)

This tiki bar has been on my bookmark list for some time. Although I haven't had a chance to come before Covid-19, I was able to partake in a Yelp event where Alana (the bar owner) shared with us how to make the Pain Killer and Rum Barrel cocktails at home. I picked up my batch mix from the bar and all I had to do was add rum. I didn't actually know that the Shameful Tiki Room was selling batches of their homemade drink mixes, so good to know so I can enjoy at home during quarantine. It was great getting to know a bit of Alana's background and history about the bar, her tips on how to make a great rum cocktail (grated nutmeg to finish off the Pain Killer?!? Who knew!) and what makes a tiki bar a tiki bar! The Shameful Tiki Room is going to be a priority on my places to check out once bars are open again. I have been drooling over the pictures of the Pineapple Fried Rice on Yelp.

The drinks are phenomenal, I had two cocktails and actually got drunk! They don't cheap out on how much alcohol they put in it. Such a great atmosphere for a girls night or an intimate date. The Mai tai is so good, it comes out lit on fire. The coconut shrimp also taste like it came from a food truck in Honolulu. Loved this place

If you are having the worst day of your life, go to The Shameful Tiki. You will instantly be transported to a different time and place, and you will have fun! Cheaper than therapy. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, delicious and super fun drinks!

Really great experience & excellent cocktails (mostly rum based, as it is a Tiki themed bar)! Very fun atmosphere with great, vintage Hawaiian/ island themed decor & music. Staff wear masks & patrons are required to wear them too when moving around property or not seated at tables. (covid protocols). They have additional outdoor patio seating too outside the bar itself! Would recommend hiring a couple more servers & bartenders, just so they don't get backed up with orders. Will totally go back!

The moment you enter the place, it feels like you've been transported to a tropical destination. Very fun cocktails, especially recommend their "bowl" series. Only complaint would be their food, which is underwhelming and tasted like frozen dinner. However I guess that is to be expected at a bar focused primarily on drinks and vibes. Overall, would recommend for an entertaining night out with friends or a date.

Great place for speciality cocktails. Food is also pretty good, but this is more of a drinks over food type of place. Service is great. Was not too impressed by their surprise drinks, found it a bit overpriced and too sweet. Service on the other hand was excellent. Interior is very cute, dark, and playful.

If you want drinks that aren't watered down and are actually strong, this is your place! Great vibes inside and lots of drink options to choose from. Only downfall is that most are rum based- so not too many options for other things. Drinks were good. We ordered fries and the garlic knots as well. Wasn't a big fan of garlic knots because they were pretty greasy and heavy. But the fries are delicious with the dipping sauce (don't quite remember what sauce we got). Would come back again and try the drinks for groups because those look fun!!

I have been to this place for the first time last week, and was so impressed by the way it looked inside. I was wondering why didn't I find this jewel of a bar/polynesian restaurant before. never the less, i sat at the bar, going through the humongous list of cocktails. I tried the Rum barrel firstly and it was way worth than the price. full of boooze. I am sure this is a place to go and forget everything else and be in the dark and mysterious, it reallt makes you forget whether it say or night outside.. giving you all the feels of a bar by the beach at night time. everytime someone orders a mysterious bowl/or any bowl - the hong rings and some entertainment begins.. especially when you around the end of bar/ inside seating - you will get a chance to see how cool that entire setup is. later my friend joined me and we ordered the bowl and it was boozy as bomb. but very delcious - i dont'; think i had any drink quite like it.. very exotic. I am going to go back here again just for the drinks for sure.

We originally tried to go to another bar nearby but it was full on a sunday night during the long civic weekend. Came here instead as it was closeby and always wanted to try a tiki themed bar. Super cute interior and the bartender was super nice and friendly. We got to sit by the bar and watching him make the drinks was fun! Not only that - the special shared drinks come with a mini show with music and flaming drinks! Social distancing measures were followed as well. Prices of the drinks were really reasonable and they were all esthetically pleasing. Loved this bar!

Youl get drunk and you won't even know it!!! I have been to TiKi room a couple of times since I live close by and I absolutely love this place!!! They have a wide range of drinks - cocktails to be precise! If you're a cocktail lover like me - you have to try this place! So far, I have loved every drink that I ordered. I love how they make their bigger drinks so dramatic! They're super presentable and yummy! Just because this is a drinking place doesn't mean their food is questionable!!! Their food is delicious!!! This is a rare combination of good bar snacks and amazing drinks with an added bonus of exceptional service!! Love love it! My favourites are the chicken wings here! They're perfect! Definitely visiting again!!

Fun night out. Got a few appetizers and drinks. Drinks were 6.5/10. They were good just nothing special. Appetizers were ok too nothing bad nothing amazing. Coco shrimp 4/10, shishito peppers 7/10, fried rice 7.5/10, loaded fries 7.5/10 wish they were crispier, crab rangoons 8/10. Much smaller place than I thought. Tables are really close together.

The drinks were super yummy!! Service were Nice and quick ! I ordered pain killer and it's kinda like the pina colada, but better, smoother and creamer. I love the top foam they had on the drink, super yummy!

Do not go here or decide to reserve any special plans here! Alana Nogueda the owner is NOT a hospitable host, will not accommodate your plans, even when the reso is made months in advance, and will not give you a smile, let alone be friendly in person at the bar. I made a reservation for a 50th birthday party asking for accommodations for 10-15 people who would all be spending sh!tloads of money, wanted to reserve a small section and would be ordering food and drinks. The night before I started receiving texts saying they couldn't accommodate our reservation request (the NIGHT BEFORE) meanwhile everyone had planned to come and some from out of town. The stress level rose, it was ridiculous. There is no communication through Alana nor her team. If anything an establishment should be accommodating, work with you to suit your needs,6 pm and be grateful to have you. They also put a limit to 90 minutes meanwhile people needed to trickllotse in closer to 7, oh and yes the reso was on a Friday for at deep-fried6pm! No one even goes out until after 8 on a Friday. The drinks are fun which is a no-brainer, the food isn't great at all (all has deep fried greasy stuff), and the staff have their heads up their a**es to work for a tyrant as such. She told us to leave just as friends were literally still arriving at 730pm all the while we were constantly ordering bowls, drinks, shots, and food plates. My friend lost it on her in front of the staff, we all (about 20 of us) packed up and waltzed into Motel Bar down the street where Danny was super-accommodating and had a blast. In closing, you will have a MUCH better time across the st at say Miss THings if you're looking for fun, Hawaiian-style cocktails, great food selection and better service, or just got to Motel Bar for lots of drinks and a good atmosphere. Shameful Tikki Room is shameful and will ruin a good night (not that you can even get close to one in that place).

The service on June 29th was really bad. When we walked in, we waited for 5 minutes to get seated. Then once we were seated we waited for 10 minutes for our orders to be taken. Anytime we wanted to call a server they were busy with other customers. There was 1 server for the whole restaurant. Don't recommend if you like hospitality and if this could bother you. Drinks were OK. Lots of sugar in them and from a glance it looked like majority of the drinks are made with RUM! so if you're NOT a fan of RUM, this place may not be for you!

It's become a cherished tradition to celebrate my birthday with friends at the Shameful Tiki Room! This year I have gone to celebrate a couple times... The atmosphere is unmatched by any bar in the city - the floor to ceiling tiki decor truly transports you to a magical Hawaiian Island, the ritual preparation of each drink makes for enthralling entertainment, & the music is kept at a comfortable level that allows for conversation. The servers are very attentive - because a lot of their beverages are so strong, they take great care in assuring that everyone is drinking safely & responsibly. I really appreciated the way our server Jesse was very diligent about recognizing when members of our party had reached their limit alcohol wise & encouraging them to drink ample water. The amount of alcohol in one cocktail really equates to a couple that you would get elsewhere, so it can be difficult to gauge how much you are actually consuming! Overall, the Shameful Tiki Room is an experience like no other - it's kind of like a Rainforest Cafe for adults (with a volcano instead of the animatronic animals lol...). If I could give it more than 5 s, I would! Shoutout to Hostess Jess as well, she was so helpful in getting us the table that I wanted! (Also, unsure of your name, but the person hosting around 10 pm the night of April 9th!) (P.S. PLEASE be kind & patient with the hosts at the front! Coming in to this bar I did not expect it to be SO GREAT! from the animated theme and music to the tropical and creative drinks on the menu! the bartender at this location is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to spirits and drinks the drinks on the menu are carefully crafted with many ingredients that compliment each other so well! there are many options to choose from and even have shareable drinks available definitely a friendly and amazing atmosphere in this bar and i would 100% recommend anyone to come in here
