Let me start by saying that this business, owner and son are all a diamond in the rough. I felt blessed coming across these kind and genuine men and this business. After experiencing very over priced shops and scam locations with price tags that were astronomical, I had my eye caught by just a small trinket rug out front while passing by and a kind looking man organizing and cleaning out front. Thought that perhaps I could at least afford something like that and asked the rate on one of them. To my great surprise, it was quite affordable and intrigued me to look at more upstairs. Yuseg, the owner was just the most genuine man. I felt no pressure to buy and he gave extremely fair, affordable and reasonable prices. Listened to what I liked and with no trouble pulled out probably 50 rugs from his extensive collection with his son to show me. Found a beautiful runner with a unique light blue that I was obsessed with. Because I was traveling and on a pretty tight budget, he agreed to a down payment and to be able to pay when I returned home and he would ship. It was extremely reasonable and I felt very lucky to have the opportunity to finally be able to afford a turkish handmade rug. I had a SEAMLESS experience from start to finish. It's refreshing dealing with good people in the world and I can't thank him enough for this wonderful experience. If you are looking for a handmade rug, machine rug or even beautiful ceramics and nic-nacks... come here. Have some tea with Yuseg and buy a rug. There could be no better spot in all of Turkey to give business to. Thank you!

Wonderful carpet shoppe with options for all price points. Yusuf, the owner speaks English and is happy to explain styles/techniques. He has some small rugs and ones for the floor or wall as well as bags made from antique pieces. Super experience! I learned a lot and will return.

I had the best experience with Yusuf at Noah’s Ark. Amazing selection, not pushy at all, rather super informative, gentle and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend that if you’re coming to Istanbul to buy a rug, this is the place. 10 stars if I could!

If you have come to Istanbul for a rug, this is the place to go. A fantastic range, extremely friendly and knowledgeable owners. They won't push you to buy anything but their range is so good you won't want to leave empty handed. Cannot recommend enough.

For the very best selection of authentic Turkish carpets and ceramics, pay a visit to Noah's Ark. Brothers Hamza and Yousuf are very knowledgeable and above all, extremely honest. Neighboring shops speak very highly of their business ethics and in fact recommend Noah's Ark. We have been buying carpets from Noah's Ark since 2009......picture. We just returned from Istanbul after buying 2, two fabulous tribal carpets.

Both Esat and Ali, brothers and owners of Noah's Ark, are welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I went in to ask if they could fix a carpet I had purchased elsewhere, and they were happy to mend the unraveling. They speak English well and have been in the carpet business for about 25 years. I have not purchased a carpet from this venue but plan on doing so in the near future, as mutual friends have purchased from and find them trustworthy and reliable.

I had a great experience!! Ali was highly knowledgeable and considerate. I bought a kilim that I love. The price was reasonable and the discussion was without pressure. Tea was lovely too. I couldn't recommend Noah's Ark more!
