One of the most impressive temples in Thailand and an absolute must-see in Bangkok. The architecture, detail, and atmosphere are breathtaking. It can get very crowded, so it’s best to visit early in the morning. Despite the crowds, the experience is unforgettable and truly showcases the beauty of Thai culture and craftsmanship.

A wonderful temple complex! Very well maintained, because it is the religious place of the royal family. All the buildings are amazingly decorated, in bright colors, with extraordinary meticulousness. It looks like the palaces from childhood stories. Very crowded, rigorous control at the entrance, with scanners and military personnel. You need about 60-90 minutes to visit it, together with the Royal Palace (this is only the outside)

A breathtaking temple complex. The whole area has incredible buildings, some are not open to the public but you can still walk around them and enjoy the facades and architecture. Like any other Buddhist temple you need to take your shoes off to visit the Emerald Buddha which is magnificent.

A very stunning layout with immersive history all around. Definitely recommend coming here early(opens at 8:30) to avoid the crowd ( we reached at 10am and it was packed like a can or sardines!). You should either get a guide or an audio guide headphone which was 200 bhat per device (more detailed and probbaly accurate and you can listen in your pace), but you'll need to hand over your passport or credit card as a tourist - scary but we were able to collect it back immediately at the exit from the designated return point. To completely explore the temple is a solid 1 hour journey with the audio listening. Or more. Minus the heat and crowd it would have been even more pleasant, but that helped us move quicker to the exit in search of respite from the nauseating crowd. The return on the audio guide is also timed to 1.5hrs or we'd have to pay extra. The temple and it's surrounding structures is 100% visit and was mesmerizing even under the blistering sun.

Interesting. Very crowded with tourists but still beautiful and well kept. Happy to have been there but if you can try and choose a time to avoid the crowds. Also, no shade. So on a sunny day take an umbrella and plenty of water 💧

The surrounding temple buildings and statues are equally impressive and worth exploring in detail. The entire area is clean, organized, and well-preserved. There’s a strict dress code, so make sure to wear long pants and sleeves, or you’ll have to rent clothes before entering. Despite the crowds, the management is efficient, and the visit feels peaceful. Plan to spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours here to take everything in. A must-visit landmark that beautifully blends history, religion, and royal heritage. Don’t leave Bangkok without seeing it!
