We really enjoyed the guided tour at the Liszt Academy of Music. The tour was well-structured, informative and pleasantly short, making it easy to stay engaged throughout.
What made the experience truly special was the live cello performance by a music student at the end. Hearing live music inside such a historic and beautiful building added a very emotional and authentic touch — it felt alive, not staged.
The Art Nouveau architecture is stunning, with impressive halls and beautiful details everywhere you look. The guide shared interesting background stories about the building, its history and its musical significance without overwhelming us with facts. A perfect experience for anyone interested in architecture, classical music or Budapest’s cultural life. Highly recommended — even if you’re not usually a classical music fan.
