11 of the Most Beautiful Golf Courses in the World

"Set on Tasmania’s rugged northeast coast, this links-style property routs holes in and out of coastal sand dunes following the land’s natural contours; one of several courses on the site, it pairs scenic seaside views with inland variety and windswept, dune-driven strategy." - Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty is a writer who specializes in covering destinations, resorts, and cruises for Travel + Leisure and other publications. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the 4 bedroom 4 ensuite Bunker villas overlooking Barnbougle Dunes course and clubhouse. It’s very vompfortable with almost everything you need. There was no internet and no TV apps but once the wind dropped this view always all we needed. My highlight was Sammy the sea lion in the warm carpark for 2 days.

An amazing links golf course and golf destination. Beautiful location and in great condition. The haven several options for accommodation. Beautiful ocean two bedrooms villas, cottages or the lodge at Lost Farm. The Dunes was by far a much better golf course than Lost Farm. The greens on the later was really bad. The restaurant at Lost Farm was much nicer in all aspects than the Dunes.

Great golf course but very tough on a windy day. Very unforgiving if you stray off the fairway, so bring plenty of golf balls. Staff are all wonderful and incredibly helpful. Great day on a challenging course.

What to say ? Golf like no where else. Not for the faint hearted.. what a challenging track... no wonder it's ranked 3 all Aussie Course just spectacular. If you can't play in the wind then you will struggle. Big shout out to staff super friendly and accommodating. Food very yummy and pricing ok. If you love your golf then put this on your bucket list.
