Good organic shop with an extensive selection of fresh food and packaged products. Been around for many years at Vic Market and Prahran market. Helpful staff. Serve yourself seeds and nuts always great quality - have been buying weekly from them for over 15 years and the best and most reliable in Melbourne for organics. Owners on-site every day and they really know their products. Highly recommend.

Solid selection of fruit and vegetables, very cool how they have large baskets to accommodate people who buy lots of veggies.

In 2003 my Partner was diagnosed with terminal cancer and as a result we did the Gerson Therapy to help restore his health. This required many kilos of carrots and green vegetables which I ordered from Paul, the owner of Ripe Organics, twice a week. He was the most helpful person I have ever come across in retail. Paul placed special orders for me twice a week for seven months and as I lived in Essendon at the time he even let me pick up the greens and carrots from his home which was not too far away from where I lived at the time. Nothing was ever a problem and I am so happy to see that he still has two very busy and successful businesses at Prahran Market, twenty years later. His produce is excellent quality and back then there were no organic shops near where I lived, so he helped me through the most stressful time in my life.

Seriously the best produce in East Melbourne (and probaby all of Melb, let's be real). I've been to many organic fruit shops this side of the city, but always keep coming back to Ripe. The fruit here is the best quality and most outstanding flavours EVERY TIME. Also the fact that everything is grown here in Aus & is certified organic is just so perfect. Not to mention the excellent customer service. I ❤ you Ripe!

Great service. I came here last Sunday looking for soy protein to make vegan bolognese. I asked a sales clerk if they had it. He walked to the isle where it usually is. It wasn't there and spent a good 5 mins to confirm if they had anymore in stock. They didn't but the fact he gave me the time was very much appreciated. Thank you

Good range of fresh organic fruit & veggies, as well as other organic products. The Moondara berries are lovely, frozen if fresh ones aren't available

Indifferent, miserable & rude staff. Expert at making one feel uneasy. No concept of basic manners or even feigned politeness. They take your money like you're giving them poison. Very disappointing.
