The best off beat experience you’ll ever find. Manuel is the best host you could ask for. He will bring you on a journey through your own preferences and then into the delicious dark boozy years of the 1920s. A true expert of the intricacies of the cocktail world.

Amazing experience if you truly appreciate a well made cocktail and are willing to pay for it. After asking a few quick questions, he riffs on a classic cocktail tailoring it to your flavour profile. The drinks are potent, but he can also offer weaker or 0 alcohol versions. We enjoyed every drink he made for us, and they were all different in one way or another. The venue fits only 4 or 5 people, so it's a private 2h experience and reservation only. It's also only open when the owner is in town. But hopefully he'll be expanding soon to a new concept. Each drink was around 22€

A lovely location with lovely ambiance. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about liquor and cocktails. Personally, this was a mediocre experience because it was not quite what I was hoping for. Writing this review to help others out - 1. It is by no means a cultural experience - NYC style bespoke cocktail bar. If you have been in North America you may have come across something similar 2. The conversation was fairly one sided and didn’t leave much of an aperture for intimate connection 3. The cocktails, while good, were not particularly memorable If you’re looking for a good cocktail place in an absolutely wonderful area this is your best bet. If you’re looking for something else, I’d recommend any number of wine bars and restaurants in the area

An absolute must visit in Lisbon! The cocktails, service, and overall experience were wonderful. Be sure to book well in advance. You get a 2 hour experience and can order personalized cocktails or any number of classic cocktails. Manuel was a pleasure to chat with and made us incredible cocktails. Very reasonably priced considering the quality and amount of thought that goes into each drink. We wish we could have spent more time in Lisbon to come back another time and try more drinks. Such a unique experience and definitely a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend!

Absolutely out of this world experience. Manuel will ask 4 questions and they will create a magical cocktail for you. Each sip is unique. Or you can choose a list classic cocktails from the billboard. Recommend to try both options. You can choose cocktails with alcohol or zero prof (non alcoholic). The place is small (4 to 5 guests at the time) and magical, with red light and over 500 bottles in display. You need to book in advance using Instagram to enjoy this experience for two hours. Manual is phenomenal host and we learnt so much, while we enjoyed our cocktails. Thanks Manuel! Super recommended!

Chatted with Manuel outside the door as we walked by. He spotted my Oilers cap and started up a conversation about hockey. Funny to run into a fellow Canadian abroad randomly so I thought I'd post a comment for him. We didn't have a chance to visit Ulysses due to short notice and time constraints so this is a 5 star review for the brief engagement! Perhaps our meeting brought the Oilers some luck as they knocked off the Canucks in game 7 to be in the Final 4. Maybe the cup comes back to Canada this year!
