We recently visited this place, and at first, everything seemed perfect. The spacious terrace with a stunning panoramic view was truly impressive — exactly the kind of setting you’d want to remember and share with friends. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. We ordered a dish that was supposed to include both a cheese platter and meat. What we received was only cheese. On top of that, we were told it would take 25–30 minutes to prepare. For a platter? That already felt like a joke. When I asked why there was no meat, the staff apologized, saying something like “we’re uneven now” — probably meaning they made a mistake. They took the plate away and returned about 20 minutes later with a few pieces of meat added. But by then, the damage was done. It’s disheartening to experience this kind of treatment in a restaurant attached to a hotel that aims for a high standard. It felt like a typical case of how tourists are sometimes treated — as if we can’t read menus, won’t notice what’s missing, or can’t understand the language. But it’s 2025 — every tourist has a translator on their phone. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. A beautiful view is nice, but it doesn’t make up for poor service.

Open Space Set-up gives good comfort. Feel free to inhale fresh air. Happy to spend time with family. Well designed Infrastructure. Food with good quality and variety. Tasty to have. Perfect Customer Services. I like to revisit and recommend others to visit.

By far the best terrace where to enjoy a drink with a incredible view on Hagia Sofia. You will enjoy also live music on Wednesday and Thursday, this drink bar is inside the Istanbul Four Season, highly recommend at sunset!

I recently visited the Lounge and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with dim lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. The lounge had a very intimate vibe, which was perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic date.

All the fake bought comments from Indian users had me also fooled which is why I went in today with my colleague. They serve only drinks and they are very pricey (600 TL= 24€ for a cocktail). The alcohol level was pretty low. In comparison, the average cocktail price in a touristic center in Germany is about 10-12€.

Don’t bother. Unwelcoming- first thing we’re told is when they are closing (which meant we still had an hour - way to lead an intro to your establishment). Didn’t want to serve us a hot coffee because they decided to clean the machines early?! We just walked off- NOT Four seasons standards

Dear Four Seasons Sultanamet Istanbul Turkey management, it is the 1st time after so many contributions into googleMap reviews to spot fake reviews. Something is really wrong on those people who had posted 4 to 5 stars to the Aya Lounge. It seems done intentionally due to many negative reviews. Seems Unethical for a Four Seasons hotel standard. Please 🙏 look into & address the issue. I will be keen to be invited to have a genuine review to the place. Looking forward to hear from the Management of Four Seasons Sultanamet, Fatih, Istanbul, Turkey.

Minimalistic attempt to create a welcoming atmosphere but small and bare. Drinks are way overpriced. Views are great only after dark. The darkness makes the whole place look better. Service was slow.

So glad we stepped in for wine and some appetizers. This place has amazing views and a very classy vibe. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They put down the windows so we could better enjoy the warm weather, views and sunset. The manager was kind enough to share the history of the building and surrounding area as well as point out monuments/historical sites in the view

This was one of the last venues I visited in Istanbul. I had pretty much given up on good cocktails or food and more importantly good service. That wasn't going to stop me from trying though. The view is spectacular. Water on one side and the incredible Aya Sofia (hence the name) on the other side. Istanbul is definitely a melting pot of people from all over the world, but if you are homesick and desperate for a golf shirt sighting or Southern drawl this is the place to be. It won't come cheap though. The chalkboard drink menu is full of options priced at the likes of top hotel bars in NY or SF. Fortunately they are quite good. Light fare and meals are also an option, but I passed thinking I would eat elsewhere. Truthfully I was tired of taking chances on paying top dollar for mediocre food. Service is excellent and is on par with American standards. Would definitely recommend a visit on a few evenings of your trip.

What can we say? From this lounge, on the roof of the Four Seasons, you get a beautiful view of both the waterfront and the Hagia Sofia. That alone makes it worth the trip. A really sweet and professional young waiter from Izmir gave my husband a crash course in Raki, and also took the time to make a list of things for us to do when we visit Izmir. His suggestions were spot on. Check this place out--views are stunning, drinks are good, staff is exceptional.

This is an oasis in the middle of the crazy tourist area of old city Istanbul. If you need a break from the crowds, head here for a drink. The views are incredible, the service is good, and the food is decent. I would give it 5 stars but it's pretty pricey / overpriced, which is normal for a Four Seasons. The view and vibe make it worth it though.
