Dalebrook Tidal Pool

If you're an early riser looking for a 5h30 fresh start, this is the tidal pool of choice. But if you’ve had a late night and still grinding your teeth on the way home, a quick plunge will be just as good to fix you up. Aqua shoes will make your life much easier but not necessarry.

The best start to one's day. Tranquil, refreshing and a wonderful way to meet new people as you watch the sunrise.

Favourite spot in Kalk Bay. Water a great temperature in the summer. Bliss.

Always a pleasure but you need to know where to find parking and most importantly take only the essentials with you (known for groups of ladies who steal bags). Swimming is safe, it’s picturesque and a great place to people watch

My first tidal pool ever - couldn’t have had it any better way. I love cold immersion (trained by my mentor friend Wim Hof), and enjoyed the 16 C / 61 F. Beautiful water, waves splashing on the rocks and stone structure and a calm environment. Tranquil and highly recommended!

One year on and enjoyed it again. We visited twice on our holiday Visit 1 was high tide and warm water and visit 2 was low tide and cold water Clean, neat and great fun Was great to find young and old taking a dip at 06H00
