Well tended and well organised botanic garden with plenty of experience value. The chance to feed rainbow lorikeets, carp and goats is likely to be the highlight here (feed is available at the entrance)
It takes around two hours to complete the one-way pathway which snakes through various thematic zones, including the stops for feeding animals and a coffee break. The landscaping is extremely elaborate, with streams, waterfalls and outcrops giving panoramic views across the surroundings.
The gardens are a standard excursion for cruise ships, so after 10am they start to get crowded. Long queues for the toilets, café and entrance form even in low season.
