"Deshaies Botanical Garden is one of the largest in the Caribbean and a simple stroll through its 12 acres is a treat. Expect to see flamingos, hummingbirds, parrots, and goats, as well as over 200 species of tropical flora, including hibiscus, orchids, various palm trees, and bougainvillea. There’s a fishpond, cascade, and plenty of shaded areas. The on-site restaurant is a great spot to relax with a cocktail and panoramic views over the gardens and Caribbean Sea."

These gardens were so beautiful. It was fun to see such a variety and also I enjoyed how well labeled all the plants were so you could know what you were looking at. There were great photo opportunities and some good views. I especially loved seeing the orchids they grafted into the trees! I would definitely recommend visiting here!

A must see! An incredible amount of plants from all over the world. Beautiful Parakeets set in their own space. The design of the property was well thought out with the perfect photo ops. $17.50euros/pp, a free shuttle service in the area. The restaurant was lovely, although we were not hungry at the time, we opted for a lovely fruit salad that was shared ($10euros), and it was very good. Allow 2 hrs for just the grounds then more for dining.

A wonderful experience, great variety of exotic plants and trees in a well cared for setting. The free shuttle bus from Deshaies town was much appreciated and the restaurant serves great food with a beautiful view. Highly recommended.

Very lovely place, wheelchair accessible but a lot up and downhills. Discount for handicapped. Normal tour up to 90 minutes at least for one turn. A lot of beautiful plants and flowers. Bird cage a must, don't forget to buy food at the entrance. Wheel chair at park recommended, the have extra brakes for the person pushing it.

Excellent and entertaining botanical garden. Just perfect size. Takes a bit more than an hour to walk through the guided path.

Well tended and well organised botanic garden with plenty of experience value. The chance to feed rainbow lorikeets, carp and goats is likely to be the highlight here (feed is available at the entrance) It takes around two hours to complete the one-way pathway which snakes through various thematic zones, including the stops for feeding animals and a coffee break. The landscaping is extremely elaborate, with streams, waterfalls and outcrops giving panoramic views across the surroundings. The gardens are a standard excursion for cruise ships, so after 10am they start to get crowded. Long queues for the toilets, café and entrance form even in low season.

A nice place, with lots of tropical plants. The bonus of feeding kois, parrots and goats was a nice surprise. There are recorded videos for some of the spots that you can access with a QR code. I haven’t tried, but I’m wondering if there is wifi available for people while visiting the gardens. The boutique has lots of souvenirs to account for all tastes and budgets.
