"Dancing House - Prague's stylishest building is also a hotel. Prague is absolutely one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its abundant beauty is not only related to the variety of architecture styles (Gothic; Art- Nouveau and Baroque) but also to natural elements such as wild swans that gracefully float along the Vltava River at sunset. Wherever you step in; a restaurant, a bar, a pizzeria... no matter, you will feel embraced. Czech citizens speak Czech, German and English (especially the young crowd). Even though Prague 's touristic appeal brings thousands of tourists every year, it is a very affordable city and doesn't give off any feelings of greediness at its core. Food and fun are affordable here. One of the simplest and most exuberant things to do in Prague is walking along the Vltava River. Cross Charles Bridge, enjoy old town, check out the Astronomical clock and do not skip the "Dancing Building"! It's a masterpiece and a must see. If you love architecture, design, art, photography or even if you are just a visual person, you will have a great time when you see this building because it's just so cool! It's also easy to spot as it's located in Old Town and it's also a hotel. The building was designed by Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry (the same architect that designed Disney Opera Hall in Downtown Los Angeles ). The Dancing House was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996. The building design was controversial at the time because the house stands out among the Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for which Prague is famous. However, then-Czech president Václav Havel (who also lives nearby) gave all of his support hoping that the building would become a center of cultural activity. It turned out to be a great decision to support the project since designers, architects, artists, and enthusiasts from all around the world are drawn in flocks to see "Fred and Ginger", a nickname given by Gehry as the building resembles a pair of dancers. The nickname is not commonly used but refers to famous dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. By Creative Travelers"

Visiting the Dancing House was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming reception that immediately set the tone for a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, offering attentive and friendly service throughout our visit. The building itself is stunning — a true architectural masterpiece that’s even more impressive in person. Whether you’re there to admire the design, enjoy a drink or meal with a view, or simply take in the atmosphere, the experience feels special from start to finish. The service was excellent, perfectly balancing professionalism with genuine warmth. Every detail was handled with care, and the staff’s pride in representing such an iconic location really shone through. Overall, our time at the Dancing House was memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. It’s not just a must-see landmark in Prague — it’s a place that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated the moment you walk in. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a semi-circular panoramic room on the 4th floor of the famous Dancing House, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. In the early morning, sunlight streamed through the curved glass windows, revealing a breathtaking view of Prague — the Vltava River winding through the city, red rooftops and church spires glowing in the light, and bustling bridges below. Waking up to such a view was pure magic. The front desk staff were young, friendly, and spoke fluent English. They offered helpful travel tips and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options — something for every taste. The rooftop restaurant on the 7th floor provides a stunning 270° view of the city, and from the terrace above you can enjoy a full 360° panorama. It’s the perfect spot to admire Prague’s mix of classic and modern architecture. At night, the room becomes even more romantic — soft purple and amber lights fill the space, while reflections of the Vltava shimmer through the glass walls. It felt like the whole city was dancing beneath us. 💫

You should definitely stay here! The rooms are huge, beautiful, very clean very modern. The views are stunning. Especially considering they give you a free pass to go up to the top of the tower. We went there at sunset and it was absolutely gorgeous. You have the most incredible view of Prague and you can have a lovely glass of Prosecco while you enjoy it all It’s only a 15 minute walk to the main core. There’s also a train right outside the door if you don’t feel like walking. Check in Was quick. The day that we had to check out, we had three separate rooms and we asked if we could have one of those rooms a little bit later so that we could go wander Prague and then come back and get changed and such and they had no problem helping us with that request. The only downside to this hotel is that it’s not 100% a hotel. Also part of it is a residence. So you don’t necessarily have the same guest care experience that you might get with a standard hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a recent business trip, and everything about the experience was exceptional. The location is ideal—near the city center but still just far enough to be outside the big rush and crowd, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. A nearby metro station made getting around incredibly convenient. The highlight for me was definitely the rooftop bar. It offers an incredible view over the city—perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings. The breakfast was amazing—truly everything you can think of. A well-balanced and healthy selection that caters to all tastes, making the start of each day a real treat. The service was professional, the room was spotless and comfortable, and all facilities were modern and well-maintained. -> Highly recommended for business travelers and tourists alike looking for the perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and a touch of style.

This is one of the best places to stay in Prague. The historical and architectural importance of the building aside, the hotel itself is superb. I had booked a deluxe room, which was extremely spacious, something which is difficult to find in Europe. The bathroom was probably half the size of the typical rooms you find in other hotels. My room had an amazing view of the Vltava river and the Prague castle. The breakfast is served at the restaurant on the 7th floor and has a very good spread, with great views. The entire staff is extremely friendly and always smiling. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a truly excellent experience. The room was spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and went out of their way to assist whenever needed. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to public transport and the city center. Overall, a wonderful stay. I would gladly return and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
