Came here on a weekday morning for breakfast, and it was already full of people! You could see everyone chatting, eating, working, or even studying such a lively vibe. The space is average in size but nicely designed with a cute aesthetic. The pastries were surprisingly big and filling! The croissant was super crispy, though it was served cold. The berry dessert was delicious, and both drinks we ordered were great too. I especially loved my matcha I’m usually not a big fan of matcha or foamy drinks, but this one really hit the spot! It’s a little pricey but definitely worth the quality! Amazing customer service too!

I went in hoping to get the croissant sandwich, but it was sold out, so I tried the prosciutto focaccia sandwich instead. The prosciutto, cheese, and arugula were nicely balanced, and the focaccia had a soft, good texture. I’ll go back tomorrow to try the croissant sandwich. I also bought the vanilla roll my friend recommended, and it was really good.

Cute cafe that’s a little tucked away at Yonge & Sheppard. I got the iced Strawberry Matcha and loved the taste of both the strawberry purée and the matcha. At other cafes, the matcha flavour is often would be quite weak in a drink like this, but the balance was perfect at Slow Bite! Make sure you mix it up a bit as the strawberry purée is a tad sweet. There’s also a decent number of seating inside and outside on their patio! Patio is dog-friendly :)

The pistachio croissant was so good! Super nutty, creamy, and the croissant had amazing texture. Their matcha strawberry latte was also quite pleasant. Overall great place. There’s lots of indoor seated as well as outdoor.

Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars Ambience: 4 Stars Value: 5 Stars Sanitary: 4 Stars Overall: 4.6 Stars This was my first visit to The Slow Bite, and the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm, comforting aroma of a delicious bakery—it instantly set the tone for a great experience. The space itself is bright, clean, and thoughtfully set up, with an open layout that feels welcoming. While seating is a bit limited, it didn’t take away from the charm of the place. Unfortunately, the day I visited, they were out of matcha, so I wasn’t able to try one of their matcha lattes, which I had heard great things about. A bit disappointing, but definitely something to look forward to on my next visit. I did, however, try the turkey croissant, and it was absolutely delightful. The croissant was flaky and fresh, filled with quality ingredients and just the right amount of sauce—not too heavy, but flavourful enough to tie everything together. A perfect light bite that hit the spot. The gentleman at the cashier was super friendly and made the experience even better. It's always nice to be greeted with a warm attitude—it really makes a difference. All in all, The Slow Bite left a great first impression, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try their other pastries (and hopefully finally get that matcha latte!). Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. xx kellychan360

I’ve visited this newly opened cafe a couple of times already, and I have to say, it’s definitely worth checking out! The ambiance is really inviting and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a quiet moment or catching up with friends. The pastries and sandwiches – both are really good, with the sandwiches made using fresh ingredients that you can really taste. My favorite drink is their matcha latte. The staff is super friendly, which makes for a great experience. If you’re looking for a new spot to try, this one should be at the top of your list!

Visited this café for the first time and it was fantastic! The ambience and vibe is very cute, and there’s a seating area if you want to sit to enjoy your coffee or do some work. I ordered the latté and the croissant. The croissant was incredible, it was baked perfectly so that it just melts in your mouth and the flavour is perfect. If you’re looking for a cafe with tasty pastries, I definitely recommend coming here!
