On the Grid : Harris Miller

"From the Gucci café in Rome to the back street bars of Sicily, Harris Miller is a blend of up market fashion and raw and rustic elements that create a beautiful place to relax, coffee in hand. Charismatic owner Chadwah has put his heart and soul into this place, hand picking and finessing everything on display. Within two seconds of meeting him you’ll realise he really cares about his customers. Try one of his signature deserts, but be warned, they’re not for the faint hearted." - Thinkbone

Harris Miller is such a hidden gem in Pyrmont! Their coffee is excellent and the food is just as impressive. We tried the Seared Salmon Harvest Bowl and the New Cajun Garlic Prawn Bowl and both were beautifully presented, with perfectly roasted vegetables and seafood cooked and seasoned to perfection. The iced Strawberry Matcha was bold, refreshing, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, with the perfect view for people-watching. The owner, Teddi, is incredibly welcoming and full of charisma, which makes the experience even better. They also serve dinner and dessert on weekends so I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

The most welcoming and lovely staff, cosy interior and curbside seating, DELICIOUS breakfast! Had the Beirut breakfast and cherry & feta smash, both large portion sizes with excellent food quality. We requested no dairy on the Beirut breakfast, and the staff were happy to accommodate and offered avocado instead, felt cared for! Love!!

Delicious breakfast, great coffee, and super friendly staff! The vibe is cozy and relaxed — perfect for a weekend brunch. The French toast is really unique, and the scrambled eggs are absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back!

During our recent Sydney stay we twice enjoyed breakfast here. It was first class both times. The coffee is excellent and the barista took great care in every cup. The cutlery is good standard and it was easy to cut your bacon and toast. The cafe is very clean and obviously looked after. The service was fantastic. Poached eggs were perfect, toasted sourdough just right. The artisan butter was a delightful touch. Keep up the great work team HM!

Great coffee and incredible food..... ordered for five and we all loved it ( including a decaf!) The large's were actually large too. And it was quite reasonably priced.

The vibes are cozy, welcoming and the staff operate with the same energy!! Everyone was so lovely and Teddi was fun to have a chat with. On this occasion I went with a group of friends and we all had a meal for ourselves (plus a recommendation from Teddi (which was also really bomb))! The drinks were also really wonderful, I recall my mates digging the Chai and I thought the coffee was solid too. For food we went with French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Cherry and Feta Smash, Golden Chickpea Shakshuka and the Seared Salmon Harvest Bowl all of which pictured below. All of the presentation was beautifully done, which admittedly I got worried about at first as sometimes you get the glamour without substance, however everything we ate was so flavourful. (I mean everything, even the parts that were ‘meant’ for presentation were delicious. Nothing was left on those plates.) This experience was so wonderful, my friends and I had a lovely catchup over lovely food and drinks and it’s clear to me that Harris Miller is definitely a place I’ll be returning to whether it be with friends or just by myself to get a coffee for the road :) Thanks again !!!

As of 4th June 2025, Harris Miller has a new menu and refreshed interior - I just have been there. I have been to this cafe a couple of times already even before the new menu arrived, and the food is always delicious. It’s a nice place to meet with my friends and have a cup of coffee over brunch. There is now strawberry matcha on the menu, yay!

Yelp
Staff friendly. Atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. The food was good but took a long time. And had hair in it! Not a hair, but quite a few.

Yelp
Great place for a brunch or breakfast. Love the vibe, well lit place with minimalistic, simple yet cool furniture. Shakshuka eggs were delicious.

Yelp
First time there! We were early and it was a Saturday. Not too places open early. This place opened up at 600am. We were surprised with freshness of our eggs benedict. And great coffee. We will come back for lunch!

Yelp
Jan17 Ordered the Morning After and a long black, The soft bun was completely soaked with the sauces so couldn't really enjoy it like a burger but the coffee was good.

Yelp
Great cold brew coffee! Came here because the restaurant near by we originally wanted to go to was closed. Fantastic breakfast (brekkie burger and waffles) and good service. Glad we were able to happen upon it!!!

Yelp
Fast delicious, friendly & cute. Best cafe in the neighbourhood for chilling & getting some work done. Only drawback is not handicapped accessible.

Yelp
Funky sleek set up, if they could get a few things right I think this would awesome for coffee and lunch. But they need to address portion sizes and prices - seriously need to work on this - a slice of eggplant and zucchini sprinkled with feta and a lettuce leaves don't maketh a salad especially when it's $15 and oily and a donut was $8 seriously I think they need to look at their pricing ... Not going back!
