An extremely tourist-y place, but a requirement for your Seoul trip is the Star Gallery at Lotte Department Store. If you’re multifandom, you’re in luck, since you can be surrounded by not only BTS, but also TWICE, Super Junior, and EXO as well! Getting back to our boys though — once you get to the Star Gallery, you’ll be able to feel as close to them as you can without intruding on their space, via a hand model display! As you can see, V has ridiculously large hands, while Jimin’s hands are just as smol as you’d probably think. Although we may not be able to meet them in person, the hand model display serves as a great way for us to feel closer to our boys.

Reminds me of Macy's of Herald Square in New York City midtown Manhattan. They do a similar Christmas decor just like Macy's. Lotte Department Store has 11 floors of eveything you need from home furnishings, electronics, cosmetics, clothes, shoes, optics, kitchen and bath. If you are a visitor you should consider buying Chinese and Japanese electronics and request Duty-Free forms so you can get 10% refund at the airport on the way back home. Think...DJI price which is already 15% lower and another 10% tax free!!!

Yes, this shopping mall is large, consisting of two buildings, but I couldn't find what I needed because its sales approach isn't based on product categories but rather on brand displays. The supermarket and food court on the basement level of Building A are bustling and crowded. At first glance, there's a wide variety of tempting food, but when you calm down to choose a meal, you realize there's nothing particularly appealing. I ended up buying some buns, but the taste was average. The dessert counters were numerous too, but after much deliberation, the pastries I bought weren't anything special.

In myendong. Main draw card for me was the basement b1 food court and mini supermarket with gourmet goods. If you get lost, the information desk will help. Lots of shops inside across 2 buildings. Food court has takeaway items as well as different cuisine restaurants and sit down area. You order your meal at a counter and they'll bring it to your table. Biggest inaris I've ever had and wonderful flavour and variety. Tempura veg set was enormous and the spicy seafood noodle soup had a charcoal spicy flavour. Awesome. Meals were 14 krw each plus inaris.

Visiting mid-morning on a Sunday is pleasant — the store is open but still quiet. During the Christmas season, the elaborate festive displays and sparkling decorations make it especially magical. Inside, you’ll find everything from luxury brands to Korean cosmetics and an impressive basement food hall, all presented with the polished charm LOTTE is known for.

The department store looks very luxurious and there are many high-end brands. Unfortunately we had the worst coffee, in the worst chairs and the worst bread in the B1 floor we have had in our whole trip to Seoul. It felt very hard to find what you were looking for, I searched for a long time just to find a café where I could sit down for a moment. Kind regards, Christina_LionsCat

I LOVE this place. It has everything! Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. The food hall is sooo good, and the first place I head to when I arrive. See pics of the beautiful fall view and my favorite snack. If you forgot to pack anything you will find it here. Just the most exceptional store. Have fun! x

The bibimbap was good however lacked beef and was quite spicy. The ordering system was super helpful and convenient in the food court, and the staff was so nice! The beef kimbap tasted great minus the mint, and the ddeokbokki was moreso on the sweeter side than spicy. Would return to try more vendors!

Upscale department store, I didn't go shopping, my wife sent me down to the food court on B1. Many merchants and multiple variety of foods. Strongly recommended for hanging out here if you (mostly men) 😉 don't like shopping
