One of the best carrot cakes I've ever had! Wonderfully large slices, with a dense yet light texture, layered flavours of autumnal spices in the cake, lovely thick layers of vanilla frosting, and not too sweet. Their chocolate cake is also delicious, super rich and indulgent without being too heavy. Excellent smooth espresso in their flat white as well. Service is friendly, personable, & efficient. Easy to see why it's a neighborhood favourite with both locals & visitors alike! Even with the endless choice of cafes & bakeries in Brighton, this Flour Pot location is an essential!

Amazing. Great food, great service. Portions good, sandwiches super tasty, and carrot cake delicious. Good coffee too. Rustic tables, outdoor seating too. 10/10.

Top class coffee and pastries, made on site. Very functional interior, with seating outside on the popular Sydney Street. Sadly no WiFi.

First saw this place on Instagram and really wanted the opportunity to try it. A few months after following them, I find myself in Brighton and happened to come across it, while walking past. I hadn’t originally planned to pop in but I remembered their Instagram and promptly entered the cafe. I was not disappointed! My slice of blackout cake was some of the nicest chocolate cake I’ve ever had! My hot chocolate was lovely too. Both tasted gorgeous and not sickly sweet either. They were just right! Not only was my cake amazing, but so was the service. The staff were ever so friendly and polite, which made me, as a visitor who doesn’t like to annoy locals, feel very warmly welcomed. It was the perfect way to start what turned out to be a truly wonderful day. Thank you so much! I’ll be coming back, when I’m next in town.

Popped in for breakfast while in Brighton and it was such a great find. The croissants are huge—really generous portions. I had the ham and cheese croissant with an oat cappuccino, and both were delicious. Lovely spot for a relaxed morning bite

It's super cute and the food is great! I got a cheese and tomato croissant and it was delicious. There are also plenty of outlets inside if you need to charge your phone.

The flat white was good but unfortunately the carrot cake was just too sweet and the frosting was chantilly cream instead of regular cream cheese, I couldn’t finish it. Good location and professional service.
