I visited Three Dots Coffee Lab recently and had a great experience. The ambiance is minimalistic, warm, and thoughtfully put together. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the menu immediately stood out — especially their experimental coffee list, which feels genuinely creative rather than gimmicky. I tried the Harvest and Osmanthus from the experimental menu. Both were distinct and layered in flavor. The Osmanthus in particular had a burst of notes that unfolded in stages — almost too many to register at once, but in a good, exploratory way. One was espresso-based and the other cold brew-based, and I appreciated how differently they were constructed. For food, I ordered the Mushroom & Brie and the Matcha Yuzu Basque. The Mushroom & Brie was excellent — the flavors were rich and balanced, though I would have preferred the bread to be a touch crispier. The Matcha Yuzu Basque was surprisingly impressive; I wasn’t expecting their bakery items to shine this much, but it was well executed with a clean matcha flavor lifted by the yuzu. Overall, Three Dots Coffee Lab is a great spot if you’re looking to try something beyond the usual coffee shop offerings. Thoughtful, experimental, and well executed. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu.

The store is a lovely, airy space. They are actually quite spacious for a coffee shop but also very popular on weekends, so seating can be hard to find. They introduce unique seasonal drinks, and they currently have 3 unique cold brews that center around the theme of harvest for fall. I tried the osmanthus infused cold brew and it was so smooth and light! You can taste the coffee as you get closer to the bottom but the osmanthus fragrance is very evident when you first sip the drink. The matcha latte is also very yummy. The matcha flavor is strong but not too bitter. Highly recommend! They also have a selection of unique coffees that you can choose for pour over but it can be quite pricey.

Very interesting cafe, with mostly coffee products but they offer 3 non-coffee drinks (Jasmine tea or matcha). It was super packed on a Sunday afternoon and I can see why. The drinks were actually really good, not just gimmicky. They use their own unique Jasmine tea blend so it's not your basic Jasmine. Both the osmanthus coffee and moon coffee did really have all the flavour notes they say on the info card, and even if you don't like coffee, you might enjoy these like I did. The interior is also quite beautiful and reminds me of Coffee Lunar, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

☕ Three Dots Coffee Lab did not disappoint. I tried their Golden Equinox series, and each drink had its own unique character and flavour balance. 🌾 Harvest – My favourite of the three. It had a really nice creaminess that blended perfectly with the espresso, milk, and sea salt. Comforting, rich, and smooth definitely the standout. 🌕 Moon – A lighter and more delicate drink with pear being the highlight note. It leaned more toward a fruity, juice like cold brew rather than a strong coffee, but still very refreshing. 🌸 Osmanthus – Floral and fragrant, with hints of preserved plum and apricot notes that you will taste. Like Moon, it had that softer cold brew profile that felt more tea forward than coffee heavy, but it worked beautifully. Overall, all three drinks were great, visually stunning, thoughtfully crafted, and distinct in flavour. Three Dots Coffee Lab continues to push creative boundaries in the Toronto coffee scene, and it’s absolutely worth a visit if you love trying innovative drinks.

Tasty Drinks, but Probably Not for Coffee Purists as advertised on social media Had the cold brew. It tasted good and I think is a great drink for anyone who doesn't have a keen focus on pure coffee as it was quite light and sweet. Probably not something a coffee purist would love. They also do not make Americanos. Similar with the Jasmine Matcha Latte, the taste was good and it was quite creamy and sweet. Not overly matcha forward, if that is your preference. Layout is strange - order pickup is at the back of the shop. You have to walk past the tables to get your drinks and the baristas have to yell order numbers to the front of the Cafe. That's my main gripe. Also the tables to the side are taken up by people camping there on their laptops sometimes. It is pretty inside though and I love the concept of sitting at the bar.

I’m not a coffee drinker but I would go back for their coffee concoctions that are cold brew based!! They definitely deliver the flavor profiles described in each drink. I tried the osmanthus which was fruity and fragrant and the harvest which was very creamy and smooth on the palate. If you’re into gourmet coffee drinks this is the place for you. I also tried their mocha cloud which is a very buttery and flaky croissant-ish! Whoever the baker is, gotta give it to them for this specific pastry!! I wanted to try more stuff but they ran out since it was very near closing time. I deducted 1 star for their service because they pretty much shooed us out on the dot at 5pm and served us in togo cups even though we had 20 mins to closing which I felt like was a bit much. I am mindful of the fact that people want to be home post work and I would have anyways left knowing their closing them, without having for them to spell it out so outrightly! That being said I will definitely go back here to try other coffee and pastries!!

nice coffee shop with very unique and experimental drinks. they offer coffee and matcha lattes as well, but the seasonal menu was quite nice. Interiors are very nice as well. It’s a nice third space to relax and chat with friends. Good amount of seating but it fills up quickly. It’s on the pricey side, but I would return.

Three Dots Coffee Lab is such a gem! Their coffee has a unique character you won’t find elsewhere, and the space is beautifully designed with great taste. The staff are warm, polite, and make you feel genuinely welcome. I especially recommend their signature drink, 15 Minutes Before Showtime – it has this incredible, one-of-a-kind flavor that tastes just like caramel popcorn. Absolutely worth a try for everyone!
