Good Hands Drum Shop

A great place with a while pile of options. I call this place the drummers drum store. It offers ideal shopping for the hard-core experienced drummer, as well as the beginner. Interesting drums on display and for sale also. Friendly, helpful staff!

My wife walked into Good Hands wanting to surprise me with a new pair of Hi-Hats. Jess went above and beyond, spending nearly 2 hrs talking shop and letting her listen and deciding on her favorite ones. He could have simply told her what to get and been about his day, but no, he made sure it was an experience and ensured the decision was hers. The result?? An absolutely beautiful set of vintage Zildjians, a perfect compliment to my ‘65 Gretsch . All I can say is thank you to Good Hands, not only for the breathtaking inventory, but especially the quality of service and care, regardless of someone’s drum knowledge or experience.

Very nice shop with a lot of ambience. Loved the event with Marcus Gilmore they organized. Now in my always go to list on my visits to NYC.

This is the classic drum shop you imagine in a big city. Staff was great and we shared some stories when I mentioned I came to the city for a couple of days.

Great local independent drum shop. Had a ton of variety in snare drums and cymbals. The staff were very knowledgeable as well. I can’t speak highly enough of this establishment.

A must visit drum shop for lovers of the institution. There’s a lot of history in the kits and gear they have for sale.

Was visiting from Toronto. Exactly the atmosphere you’d like in a drum shop! Cozy, vibey, and welcoming. Great selection of used and vintage stuff. They have 2 rooms to try gear out. I was able to try (and drool) over 3 pairs of 15” hihats. Staff was great. Definitely a must visit. Support your independent drum shops! 🤘🏼
