Lots of options here in terms of beer to purchase in the store to bring home and beers on tap to drink while you’re there. We both got flights and enjoyed them. Seating available at the bar, a few tables inside, and a little bit outside. Great place to stop for a beer especially if waiting for a table next door at Bar Bill!

I really don't spend as much time in East Aurora as I should, but when walking down the street on our way to dinner we popped in to Aurora Brew Works for a drink. This place was much more than I expected. What an amazing selection of single bottle and cans of craft beers! At first the bar itself was crowded but after walking around and building my own 6-pack we had a drink and the very friendly staff had a nice conversation with my wife and I. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area. Cheers!

this team figured out the craft beer to go business model. fair pricing, great bar tenders in a cozy space fostering a community. a small but adequate bar and some additional table seating with games as i recall in a bright space with plenty of shop space to browse. the beer selection was varied and on point and it attracts locals of all ages and backgrounds. pro: a large shared parking lot out back and kind staff. con: i didn't know there was a basement lounge when i visited - missed opportunity on my end. just gotta go back

They got you covered with 20 beers on tap (mix and match flight of your choice) and a retail shop with an exceptionally wide selection. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. (Note to future self: #18 is amazing!)

We were looking for the Cycling Frog drinks and they were the closest who carried it. We came to just pick up, not to drink there but it looked like a really cozy and cool place to have a drink. The woman working there was fantastic, we came because it said that they carried a limited seasonal flavor of the drink and they were all out but she was kind enough to go and grab us a single can that they were selling and it was the last one. It looked like it had a good selection of beers too.

We love this place. I'm always happy to go here and pick out something to enjoy while I'm there and something to take home! Brew works is one part beer store, one part bar, and one part game room. Many times we will get a brew and play battleship or sit outside and watch the parade of EA golden doodles in the summer months. They do not serve food here, so if we are hungry, we will get takeout from one of the restaurants close by and they don't care if we bring it in. There is a few tables inside and a few tables outside. Not a big place. There is a whole bar and game room in the basement, but it never seems to be open. I love the selection. The beers are a bit overpriced, but in most cases you can just buy them in singles. So if you want to try something new, it's not a huge commitment! I tried a couple of the thc, cbd, and hop-water beverages that I don't think I would have tried otherwise. They keep a fair selection of cold cans and also have a good selection of taps. I believe you can fill growlers there. I've always had friendly service. A+!

We love Aurora Brew Works! Amazing selection of to go beers. Awesome staff! Ashley is our favorite. Such a chill/relaxing place to get a draft beer from a variety of breweries. Outside space is great. I highly recommend to anyone, if you haven't been, please check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Cool place that sells beer that you can drink right there, or go to the small bar, seats maybe 8 and there is couch seating and table seating as well. Hip hangout, you'll see a lot of the younger crowd here but it is comfortable for anyone. I think it's all flat so you could get a wheelchair in here. If there's no street parking, pass the place and park behind building. There's a walk through. Lots to do in East Aurora before or after, as well. Drink a beer while you shop for beer.

What a place! I love the concept. You can either order something at the bar, or peruse the shelves and get your beverage cold within 5 minutes to enjoy it in the space. There are gluten free beers, hard to find beers, ciders, and there is some wine on tap. They were playing the World Cup on the big screen, which was nice. There are games at the tables and it is a fun and inviting space. Great to catch up with friends. You can also buy a bunch of beer and leave without enjoying the space.

Cool place while you wait for your table at Bar-Bill Tavern. Tons of local beers on tap, to go beers, beer flights. Seating outside and inside. We tried a bunch of new beers in a 4 selection flight. Great service, nice peeps hanging out waiting for the wings, fries and beef on weck next door. Id come back... you should visit. Get a good buzz on then cram some wings down at #17's fav wing place.

Great stop for drafts and bottles/cans. Family and pet friendly. I come here frequently with family and friends. Highly recommend.

Awesome atmosphere and brewtender. Beer selection is good (although I wish they had more cream ales but I won't complain). Games are awesome and everyone is friendly! Will be back. Chill spot.

Fun, casual, kid and dog friendly community watering hole that offers a huge selection of craft beers. Craft beers from around the world, draft wine, hard seltzers, ciders and wine slushies available to enjoy on site or to take home. Aurora Brew Works has the biggest selection of craft beer and significantly lower prices than the other local beer stores. The selection is always changing so there is never a lack of newness. Cans are sold individually so it is easy to be adventurous and try new varieties from craft breweries. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are awesome at making recommendations and know a lot about their products. If you decide to indulge in-store there is a small uncorking fee per drink. If you prefer craft beers on tap, pull up a seat, there are always plentiful options available in multiple sized pours ranging from a healthy taste to an indulgence. If beer isn't your thing there are a few wines and ciders on tap, wine slushies and hard seltzers. Just like the beer you can often find the newest flavors of hard seltzer in the cooler so you can try before committing to a 12 pack. I was recently able to try the Truly fruit punch and it was delightful. The wine slushies are refreshing and delicious, a great summery drink. You will find plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors. Indoor seating is located at the front of the store and downstairs, help yourself to a board game. Outside there are Adirondack chairs and picnic tables where you are free to seat yourself. Since they do not have a food menu you are free to bring your own take out. This is a great option if you are on the long but worth it wait list to get into Bar Bill. If you are checking this place out for the first time, I have some tips. If your selection isn't in the cooler you can have it chilled on site in about 5 minutes. Check out their online store where you can order and pick up in store or have it shipped. Some highlights of our finds here include the largest local selections from Other Half, and occasionally they have Heady Topper and Focal Banger from the Alchemist Beer in Vermont.

What a discovery! This is now my to-go store. Forget the big stores, their bigger prices, and the usual requirement that, even if you select individual beers, you have to buy a 4 pack or 6 pack. Allow yourself significant time if you want to browse all of their shelves. The selection for dark beers (porters, stouts, etc) is far greater than that of any other store I've been in. Altho many of the beers are in 4 or 6 packs, you're welcome to take one or more out; the beers are priced per can/bottle, not per pack. I haven't eaten or purchased a drink in-house yet, so cannot comment on that, but those who are in the store while i'm shopping seem to be enjoying themselves. And, if you want to sample a beer they have on tap, that is available for free. Parking is plentiful behind the store, despite the construction currently ongoing.

Love the service and selection. Local and friendly atmosphere. Bartender was very friendly and willing to help me find all of my drink selections to go. Love the outside sidewalk drink option. This is a great relaxing place to go

This is a great beer store with a very extensive collection of micro brews and craft beers. You can buy one out of each pack to try them out, which is awesome. They also have a small bar and a few seats inside if you want a pint or two.

Best selection of beer around, the downstairs is especially cool! They charge a premium but if you're looking for that "certain" brew they probably have it

Absolutely love this place. Their German lager was delicious and the food... OMG. We ordered the mushroom pizza which was to die for, and the smoked wings were delicious too. We also got the pork nachos which were yummy! I was lucky to be able to snap some pics before we devoured the food!

This is the coziest bar I've ever stepped foot in. Truly, it's like I am in the basement of the hose that I wish I owned. The upstairs of Aurora Brew Works is a beer shop selling bottled beers in packs for you to take home, but it also has a bar where you can just chill and they have a few tables and board games upstairs as well. The real fun, in my opinion, is the basement! Leather couches are broken up into sections where you can just unwind with some video games on big screen TVs. I am not a gamer by any means, but I got down with a game of Tetris and it was so much fun! There's a bar downstairs as well and the bartender was so friendly and efficient! They offer the option to renting the space out as well for your next event. I wish this place was closer to home because it would definitely be my weekly hang out spot.

Aurora Brew Works is a very cool establishment. It's a beer store but ALSO a bar, where you can sit and sip a tasty brew. There is a huge selection of beer to satisfy anyone's palate. I tried a Ten Fidy Imperial Stout. It was delicious and is my new favorite beer. (I prefer dark beer.) I also tried a Double Coffee Milk Stout from Hamburg Brewing Company. That was delicious too. I bought a Strawberry French Toast beer and S'Mores beer from Decadent Ales to try at another time. I sat outside at one of their patio tables with friends. The staff was very nice. I'll definitely be back!

So many choices it was a little overwhelming- we sat inside and had a couple great draws and then filled our beer box with take home goodies. It's a good thing I don't live close enough to make this a daily or even weekly stop- beer habits are hard to break.

This place is great. They don't serve food BUT they allow you to bring in outside food. We took Bar Bills in and bought beer at the brew works. Great hack for when you can't get into Bar Bills. My daughter really enjoyed the games and activities.

This is a nice establishment. It's a beer store, meets bar, and hang out area. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere, perfect place to find a great gift for a beer enthusiasts. You can create your own four or six pack with a variety of beers from across the globe. And also grab a taste of a couple beers. I tried a holiday cider which was very good and it was nice because they serve various sizes, good for if you want to try a few or if you're driving. It's a laid-back atmosphere with some games to play, a nice view of Main Street in East Aurora, great staff, and a welcoming environment. East Aurora such a cute community it's a nice place to stop in while you're there.

This is a fun place. Craft beers galore. They do have a bar with a few craft beers on tap. However the rest of the building is filled with your hearts desire when it comes to craft beer. The front of the place has a comfy setting with couches. Tables along the side. When it's warm the patio can be quite enjoyable. There were about 6 beers on tap when we went. We each had something different. The beers were great. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. If you are in the burbs and looking for someplace to go that's not downtown. Check out Aurora Brew works. Definitely worth the stop. Even if you're looking for some craft beer for a party. You'll definitely get lost in there.

I'm back in the area for the first time in years. Stopped into Aurora Brew works and I asked Shelby for something similar to Newcastle Brown and she nailed it. The Steuben Hometown Brown was perfect. It's nice to have someone so knowledgeable behind the bar.

Aurora Brew Works never fails to disappoint. The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable The place is the perfect hang out anytime but especially on weekends. You have many options around to grab food from Lloyds Taco Truck...next door at Barbill or 189...or anywhere in town. Brew works encourages you to grab food and eat in! You can get a fantastic selection of draft beer by the pint or the growler. You can sample any of their many many bottles and cans and they will chill it down for you in minutes. It is NOT to be missed if you are a beer lover and just a lover of cool, chill places to hang out

Really relaxing time spent at Aurora Brew Works. Great selection of beer, by no means cheap, but comparable to other stores carrying Craft beer. The place sells glassware too. They have a large selection of Samuel Smiths, one of my favorite beers and in various sizes. They have a mini bar with about five beers on tap. You can choose which size pour you want, the 16 oz is about $7. They had seasonal beers on tap, Ballast Point Grunion, a Six Point option, Southern Tier and a couple others I cannot recall. The woman working behind the bar was really friendly and suggested her favorite which was the Ballast Point and it was delicious. We paid and then took our beers outside and sat on the very large lounge chairs facing the street. They had two picnic tables outside as well. The area was fenced in, low enough to look out and it was an extremely enjoyable way to spend an hour in East Aurora.

If you are a beer drinker who loves exploring different microbrews, you NEED to get here ASAP. Finally, a bar where I don't have to watch people drinking Labbatt's, Molson, Coors, PBR or other domestic swill. This place refuses to serve any of that junk. Instead, you will find about 6-7 taps of microbrews, from Buffalo and beyond. They are tapped to very small kegs so throughout the course of the evening a few taps will be swapped out for a new beer. More to try!! You can buy your beer small for tasting or regular pint-sized. Even better, FLIGHTS OF BEER. Need I say more???? Reasonably priced for $10. Another perk: this is also a beer store with tons of cans and bottles that you can't find anywhere else. At the end of our evening we purchased a few beers to enjoy at home. This is a small space with limited seating but the friendly service and the amazing selection make this a perfect experience. Now if only we could get someone to emulate this concept downtown ....

Loved this place. So many amazing beers to buy and tons of diverse beers on tap to try and taste. The pair of employees I interacted with were kind and patient when I took a lifetime to choose from their large selection. Also to note is a large outdoor patio area with picnic tables and adirondack chairs that are perfect for lounging with your newly purchased brew. And as a side note... they jam to some seriously awesome 90s-2000s punk/ska music which just adds so much cred to a place like this. Love love loved it and if I lived in EA I'd probably live IN the shop.

The selection of beer that they have here is astounding! I have come here a few times from Buffalo to get beer. They have an amazing store front and the beers on tap never disappoint. Also ask if they have the basement open because it is so comfortable down there you feel like you are at home!

This place rocks! I'm not a huge beer drinker but their selection is so good that even I've been lured in! You can buy anything by the bottle and they can chill room temperature bottles in five minutes for you. They also have a huge freezer of cold drinks, about 30-40 beers on tap, wine, and wine slushees! They have casual outdoor seating in the summer which is great for people watching and car watching along Main Street :) I've heard that their basement is really cozy in the winter but haven't tried it yet. I drove past this place on my way home for at least six months before I made it inside and man am I glad I finally stopped in! No food served but you can bring outside food in. There's often a food truck parked nearby or you can get takeout wings from bar bill next door!

We have been going to Brew Works since it has opened. The guys that work there are very nice and helpful. It's a cute little place, very well organized. They always have a great selection of beer and I love how they partner up with the Roycroft for food and beer pairings. We went to their Oktoberfest event and loved it! Brew works is always a must stop whenever we are in East Aurora.

Stopped in for a drink while waiting for our table at Bar Bill. We were greeted by the owner who was very sweet, played games with us, and when we ordered beers that they ended up running out of we got them on the house! We picked up a few interesting beers to try at home. Next time I'm out here I will definitely be back.

We went here on Saturday. This was my 3rd time. It's pretty unique. Fantastic selection of beer. You can purchase drafts, bottles , cases etc...and drink it right there. They have couches , tables with games , and great outside patio. Not your typical bar. Not even a bar at all. Just a cool place to hang with friends , drink some beer and relax. I will go back. Note: if you don't like craft beer, this is NOT your place. They don't carry standard domestic beer. No Miller, Coors, Molsen...

Hung out here for a few beers. Upstairs is not huge and was looking forward to seeing the downstairs for the first time but it was closed for a private party. Cool little hang out in EA especially in the summer they have a cute little patio with some comfy chairs to drink your beers.

What a fantastic selection of beer!! Great atmosphere! Super relaxing and fun!! It's a place we come to often and never regret it! We grabbed pizza from Pasquale's and brought it in to eat! Love EA but especially love Aurora Brew Works!!

At Aurora Brew Works, you can try and buy beer from around the world and as close as the southern tier. ABW is a terrific addition to Main Street and to East Aurora in general. After a trip to Italy early on in his career, what struck Howard Schultz was that Italians lived incredibly balanced lives. Shultz lamented that, unlike the Italians and their 100s of thousands of coffee bars, Americans had no place to gather that wasn't work and wasn't home: a third place. Shultz brought that notion back to the US, built Starbucks into a worldwide coffee empire, bought the Seattle Supersonics, drove them into the ground, sold them to a rich oil baron, and now Kevin Durant plays in Oklahoma City for the Thunder. But, I digress. What I'm trying to say is: these guys at ABW got it right! This is our new "third place." ABW is a gathering place for white collar, blue collar, hipster, the opposite of hipster, moms, dads, grandparents, the opposite of grandparents.... ok. you get the picture. It's all inclusive. They have a tremendous craft beer selection for tasting (there are always six kegs flowing), as well as a monster selection of bottled beer to take home. Mix and match your favorites if you want because it's all priced by the bottle. No kidding. They are very principled about what beers they will carry -- they recently informed me that my favorite west coast brew which I thought was "craft" turned out to be owned by a larger syndicate, hence they won't be carrying it. Did I mention these guys know their beer? You should get to ABW now -- not just to sit, sip a brew, and talk with the owners or a neighbor, but because you'll be able to say you sat in the original location when in 20 years they've achieved world domination. Let's just make sure they don't end up selling the Sabres before then.

Very cool space in the quaint village of East Aurora! The small bar boasts some interesting brews on tap, and their beer selection for purchase looks small, but is vast beyond belief! We found a few different bottles from breweries and meaderies that we have never seen at Premier nor Village Beer Merchant! We sat down and ordered some pints; I tried the Grimm Action/Adventure, a sour smoked beer. The bartender/worker was very friendly and struck up some good conversation about beer on the quiet afternoon. All of their bottles can be purchased for individual sale (if you don't want to commit to a whole 4 or 6 pack). If you buy a bottle, they also let you open it there and enjoy it at the bar or at a table which is very cool. Overall, it was a great experience. The draught list was small, but the options were great and the service and selection was stellar!

I can run out of superlatives trying to describe this place. From the laid back coffee house feel, to the beer selection, Brew Works is a gem. The staff are all highly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and their suggestions are usually right on the money. I learn something new about beer every time I go. The store has walls full of beers from around the world. Literally. Some of the European ones don't have a lick of English on them. They have it all, from Belgian Trappist beers, to ones brewed right around the corner in Elicottville. The ability to mix and match your own packs is great as well. Also, there's 6 rotating taps that always change. They offer flights and pints all for your drinking pleasure. I suppose the only thing that could give them a mark against is the fact that there's no food. Even small finger food and appetizers would be nice. Lack of food aside, this is a great place to grab some unique beer, and learn something along the way.

They have loads of beers....they are Taco truck friendly....and I'm nearly positive I saw Hot Pockets on their menu. Not much more a man needs......except for more taps.

Great atmosphere! The bar is small, but warm and friendly. The bartenders are extremely personable. The one bartender offered us to play her food & wine trivia card game, and we ended up having a blast. We were upset when we had to leave because of our table being ready next door. They have a couple of Resurgence Brewery beers on tap, but other than that, the list isn't too extensive. However, it's a beer store! You can go over to the coolers and pick whatever you want, bring it up to the bar, they will open it for you and serve it to you. The cost is actually less than one of the beers on tap (the one I bought), and that even included their "corking charge" of $1. Although we only sat at the bar, I loved the look of the comfy, couch area near the window. I could totally see myself coming here to hang out on a cold winter's night. Grab some friends, some beer, and some games and you will find yourself here for hours!
