a great little gem.
to get in, scroll to "prelinger library" and press call on the door-side intercom system.
it contains that SF charm, in it's people and content!
the vibe is chill, like a uni archive where only cool kids go to, or even know about. Very hospitable, kind, supportive.
the archive is incredibly organized, now with a map!
the content is somewhere between what you'd expect at an anarchist bookstore and a mix of various SF residents' private collections.
The local neighborhood books had great photos to see your nabe in the past, and it's history. There's was an old gem of a story about a Chinese person immigrating to SF, full of old illustrations and older writing intended for the American layman of a past-time. Surely endless gems of books over there, some very old.
just go for it.
