I came here for a 3-hour full body treatment session after over half a month traveling in Japan and Korea. It was the most relaxing and rejuvenating spa that I’ve ever had. The session started with a whirl bath followed by body treatment, facial and head spa. I’m glad that I included the spa treatment in my itinerary and now I’m feeling recharged to continue my trip! Service was impeccable from front desk staff to the therapist. I love the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely rejuvenating experience at Spa 1978 in Seoul! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the luxurious and calming atmosphere. The 90-minute facial treatment was exceptional—my therapist, Lily,,was not only skilled with firm, effective techniques, but also communicated flawlessly in English, making the session even more comfortable. The high-quality products used felt premium on my skin. After the treatment, I felt deeply relaxed, both mentally and physically. Most importantly, my face was left glowing and radiant! A special thanks to Lily for her wonderful care. I highly recommend Spa 1978 for anyone looking for a top-tier skincare retreat in Seoul.

I loved my experience at Spa1899, where my wife and I had a couples massage. All the staff were highly attentive to my needs and made me comfortable. The facility is quite peaceful. I really enjoyed starting with a foot bath before proceeding to a massage. We added the mini facial care to our session and I have never felt more moisturized! There are several other bonus programmes that we did not try but may fit other tastes. The therapist Lily made me feel comfortable and was able to focus on areas of my body that needed the most care, plus she gave me feedback on what I could do to improve my posture and back pain thereafter. I am not a fluent Korean speaker but I was able to communicate my needs without any problem! We will be coming back when we're back in Seoul.

10/10 experience! I was a little worried walking in to the cigarette smelling building, but the second you arrive at the spa you enter a magical calm space. From the second you enter with the delicious tea, to the end of your service, you will be fully pampered. I started with a shower with amazing ginseng products, followed by a foot soak with red ginseng. Then, I did the one hour facial with the add on of the foot massage. Every part was amazing. The therapist, Ila, stretched me, massaged me and truly made this experience amazing. I went to many treatments while in Korea, and this was the most luxurious and beautiful (and at a very fair price). I fully recommend!!

One of the best spas I’ve been to!! The therapists were very professional and knowledgeable; the products were top-notch. They provided us with a detailed description of their products and their pain points. We were so tired after 20 hours of flight but after the massage it made us feel better. I recommend you add some additional mini programs, especially the facial program if you’re going for body body-focused massage! Don’t forget to try samples after the spa!

I came back again for a 3 hour full body set and the experience continues to be amazing. Had a 15 mins session in the bath with ginseng concentrate, then a full body massage that was beyond relaxing, and full facial which really help brightened my stressed face. Follow by a head spa which was so good for my scalp and hair! Cannot recommend enough! Also could not resist and brought some of their products too!

I had a wonderful experience here. The overall service feels very high-class, and I really liked that you can take a shower before starting the massage. The staff were all very warm and welcoming, and the environment was spotless and quiet, which made it easy to relax. The massage therapists were professional and had a great attitude. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality massage experience.

I did the 3 hour full body care. (head+face+body+spa) It was my second visit and the space is very relaxing, with good service from the staff. I love the spa which added red ginseng in it. And the hair wash after the massage was also a very nice experience. With the full body care at this price, definitely worth it!!
