Excellent option to build your own snackboard, house wine (Verde) that is better quality than most bottled wines I'd get at homeand literally the best butter I've had in my life. Menu available in English but the staff do not really speak it, but have developed ways (e.g. numbered items, etc.) so that you can interact without any communication issues. Perfect for a light afternoon lunch or snack, and you must get #4, bread, butter and olives cause...the butter is 😻 and reason alone to eat here!

The Portuguese pork stew and the homemade soup were absolutely excellent — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this restaurant in Aveiro!

We divided the octopus rice and Bacalhau Zeca + roasted potatoes + fried potatoes. At the end we ate cheesecake. It was really great! And the employees were so nice. Super recommend!

Restaurant not far from the canal, Portugese restaurant. I ordered octopus rice and green wine. It was delicious and I was full at the end. The employees are very friendly.

We take the menu. Food was delicious, staff really friendly and helpful. Good prices. You get also a voucher for a discount for the boat ride.

Food was good, service was slow. Portions were bigger than expected, especially for the prix fixe menu- I’d recommend having one of those and a main course for two people, rather than two prix fixe. The pork was very good, as were the codfish cakes. The cuttlefish was pretty good, but more fried like calamari in the states than we were expecting.

We sat down for a lazy lunch after being on the road all morning. Conveniently located on a busy tourist street with indoor and outdoor seating. Famished, we ordered the 2 for €26 tapas meal. Every thing was amazing, from the tasty butter to the fantastic cheese platter to the octopus salad and chicken strips. That meal remains a delicious memory of our trip to Aveiro.

Very welcoming place that allowed us to charge our phones. Good food which I was unable to take pics since it was charging. I order the menu combo that brought one entree, one main dish (croquetas de bacalao) and dessert ( I choose the moles de aveiro, the one in the pic). There are also option for people allergic to seafood, but make sure to tell the waiter about your allergies. The waiter that took our order and requests was Ronny. Muy atento. ✨
