I got the combo sandwich with chocolate chip and brownie cookies, plus s’mores ice cream and M&M toppings—and don’t forget to ask for it warmed up! Such a tasty dessert. Honestly, one sandwich is definitely enough for two people 😅 but don’t get me wrong… I still finished the whole thing myself lol. Next time, I might share 😂

It was a bit difficult locating this place (its upstairs). I ordered online but noticed you can't build your own cookie sandwiches, they just have about 3 standard choices(this might change depending on how busy they are). Luckily, the lady who helped me when I picked up, did additions for me with no hesitation.

Great ice cream sandwiches! Lots of options to customize, there’s something for everyone! Not much space for people to sit on busy times like weekends, since it’s in a little shopping strip with limited space, and difficult to find easy parking nearby. Still worth stopping in if you’re passing through!

Gluten free and dairy free option for my wife, heck yeah. Highly recommend this place for friends, family, and/or kids. Huge ice cream sandwiches with plenty of options to choose from. Staff is efficient and polite. Had to go back a second night b/c of how good it was the first time.

Today tried an ice cream sandwich made with cookies for the first time. The sandwich was pretty big, which I liked since I enjoy cookies. The ice cream was decent but not anything special. The best part was eating it on the terrace while watching the city, which made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fun treat, especially if you love cookies!

We stopped by the place when driving around Lake Tahoe. This place seemed to be the most popular ice cream place. They have ice cream cookies with wide variety of options that you can mix and match. We tried the bear ice cream. Pretty decent.

Really tasty! Great flavors of both ice cream and cookies. Fair prices. And super great staff. My twins fought over flavors to split one, and the dude accommodated and split the baby so they each had their own flavor for their cookie. That, my friends, is customer service!

Extremely slow but friendly service. Took over 25 mins with just 3 small parties ahead of us on a slow weekday night. Overpriced and too sweet for my liking. Felt like I was purely eating a block of sugar and couldnt taste things like the macadamia nuts. We asked to have the cookies warmed and both were not warmed at all despite seeing the worker out it into the warmer.

Such a fun spot! Love that you can customize your own ice cream sandwiches everything about this place has great vibes and even better customer service. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. The dark chocolate ice cream was hands down my favorite . We didn't even get a chance to take a picture because it looked that good and tasted even better. Definitely coming back!

First time being here despite being part time residents. (Came with grandkids). Good ice cream! Service was good. I didn't try one of the ice cream sandwiches but I will next time!!! A lot of options and large ice cream scoops!!! Worth the trip to the second level!

This place is fire! They have so many flavor combinations to satisfy your sweet tooth. I chose to do a cookie sandwich with two different cookies and s'mores ice cream. It was so delicious and fresh. It gets busy so bring your patience. It's a cute spot with a space to eat indoors or outside.

I've been craving ice cream and cookies and this was all I needed. Got me a mint chocolate between choclate chip cookie with sprinkles and it was sensational! Staff was super nice and store was clean. Definitely give it a try.

came here for a sweet treat after stopping by base camp pizza, and got the gooey butter cake and Cookie Monster cookie! Cookie was warm and was a great post lunch dessert. They also do cookie ice cream sandwiches and ice creams as well!

This place was phenomenal! I wish we had something like this in the Central Valley! When ordering you can choose two different types of cookies and two different types of ice cream! It was so good and the cookies were fresh warm tasted homemade. The service was quick and friendly. The parlor was very different but unique we sat on the patio that over looks the main part of the down town city shopping area. It was lovely. We will def be back.

The workers were a little rude. You can just tell that they wanted to get the line going, which I understand but as a first timer, I did not feel welcomed at all that alone kind of ruined the experience for me and my family. The ice cream sandwiches were just OK incredibly sweet so if you don't do well with sweets, I would highly recommend sharing with someone or sticking to just ice cream or just cookies one or the other but not both. The tables were not wiped and even the side tables were sticky. It's very cramped inside especially if there's a long line a lot of options inside.

Custom ice cream sandwiches! An absolute must. You can mix and match cookies and ice cream to form the absolutely perfect ice cream sandwiches. I went with their seasonal flavors of both! A cookie monster cookie and their cookie batter ice cream. Absolutely delicious. Fast service, and seating so you can hang out while you devour your dessert.

This spot is definitely a must if you have a sweet tooth and are in the Tahoe area. I ordered a cookie sandwich with cookies & cream, snickerdoodle cookies and the biscoff ice cream. I even got the cookie warmed up. I'm not usually a sweet tooth gal but this sandwich was delicious. Warm and very fulfilling. You can definitely share if needed.

We always stop by at least once whenever we come to Tahoe for snowboarding. The ice cream is made in house and has great texture! The staff is always friendly totally worth a stop in. Cookies and cream is our favorite

I always come here to grab cookies. Strawberry cheesecake is my favorite but I do wish the cookies were kept warm or that they offered to warm them. There are also some ice cream choices. They have quick friendly service and a place to sit inside. They close pretty early and are located on the second floor. Tip: The elevator is located next to North Face on the other side.

Good ice cream, good cookies. Only 3-stars because the ladies serving didn't offer kids scoops for our kids. Instead served our 7 and 8 year olds full scoops. Way too big and more costly and wasteful. - good portion sizes I suppose. No water?!? Cmon! Every ice cream place should have a water tap with cups. Ridiculous and just wrong. My kids were complaining and didn't make for a good experience. (Yes, I guess they usually have bottles to buy, but tap water is easy).

I'll keep this review simple. This place is a must for my family when we are in Tahoe. We always get the ice cream sandwiches. Fresh cookies and fresh ice cream make for a delicious treat. I love that you can choose your cookie flavor (even mix top and bottom) and ice cream to sandwich them with (I like to sample a few first). You can also opt to warm it (just a tad - doesn't melt the ice cream). It's a bit of a sweetness overload, so I need to remember to share one or save half for later. You can opt for just ice cream or cookies, and they have a few other things on their menu. We'll be back!

Wow. I got the ice cream sandwich with 1 Nutella cookie and 1 chocolate chip cookie and caramel pretzel ice cream. It was insane. Amazing flavors. Wish I had time to cone back for another one during this trip, but I'm happy to recommend it and would definitely visit Baked Bear if I saw one again.

My kids found this near our hotel and wanted to go. We walked by 2 nights and there was a consistent line that went pretty quick. We had to wait along the stairs in line, inside is decent size with some seating. Staff was cool There is a location in SF not too far from fisherman's wharf! It was good ice cream and i would visit again.

I was in South Lake Tahoe for the day and because it was hot, I was craving ice cream. The locals told me about two options, one of which is a national chain that I can get at home, so I opted for this wee place, located on the second floor of the building. The Baked Bear specializes in homemade cookies willed with delicious ice cream. You get to pick the cookie and the ice cream, so whatever you pick is a unique and flavorful combination. I loved it and it served to cool me down perfectly. GO!

The Baked Bear was such a treat. I got a bear bowl with the s'mores flavored ice cream and it was absolutely delicious. I added some hot fudge on top and it just made it even better. The service was quick and easy which made the visit super convenient. The eating area was also nice and clean which I really appreciate when grabbing dessert. If you are craving something sweet and fun, The Baked Bear is definitely worth a stop.

We got some sweet treats here and really enjoyed it. The staff was great. The prices are a bit high, but it was worth it. We picked out two cookies and an ice cream and had it smashed/warmed. So good! All 4 cookies we tried and both ice creams were great. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you choose here.

I recommend taking the final step and getting it "hot pressed". I had almond brittle ice cream wrapped in gooey butter cake cookies...a delicious combo! It's a casual spot with walk up service and plenty of seating inside, or there's a few tables outside as well. If you're looking for a sweet treat that's customizable and under $10, this is a great option.

Came from Sacramento to have this deliciousness. The staff are always kind and engaging and the ambiance is warm and inviting. Overall, we should replace every Baskin Robbins with Baked Bears

My new favorite dessert place in Lake Tahoe!! I decided to get my cookies and ice cream separate instead of as a sandwich, and I am so happy I did! The girls up front were nice enough to let us sample some flavors and also make great recs. Highly recommend the s'mores ice cream, it's like a rocky road without the nuts! Cookies are TO DIE FORR: get the chocolate chip with Nutella and butter cake, best flavors. I'll happily get 2 of each next time. There's some seating both inside and outside, but overall pretty limited.

My wife had a cookie said it was ok. They were out of gluten free cookies when we went there. Service was great. They accommodated my celiac disease by getting ice cream scooped from uncontaminated ice cream containers. The place was clean.

A fun and creative way to get dessert, just not for me unfortunately. Everything is pretty mediocre. Okay cookies, okay ice cream, nothing too special, but I can see that kids would love the place for sure. Maybe worth a visit if you have kids.

The lady who helped me was very nice and patient with me deciding things. The bear ice cream is delicious for cake batter lovers. I got the Gooey cookie and a s'mores one (their month cookie) and wish I had gotten both Gooey. The s'mores one was just a tad bit hard to break but taste was good. The portion is also huge, so you get a bang for your buck!

Yes, it was snowing outside but I was craving ice cream. I already tried other ice creams, so was looking for something different. Then I found this on the second floor. Saw a couple of people outside and enjoying their ice cream. I immediately stepped in, it's an ice cream sandwich shop. But after looking at those flat cookies, I decided to have just a scoop of ice cream rather than a cookie sandwich. They have unique ice cream flavors, the ice cream was good and it is the same price for both cup and waffle. The waffle is freshly made and crispy enough to eat with the ice cream. I feel it is a bit expensive for a flat cookie sandwich, around10$ but the scoop was just 6$.

came right at opening hour: empty on a thursday noon. greeted by 2 welcoming staff open to offering flavor sampling. fair sized single scoop is $6, not the roundest scoops or best presentation. waffle cone is extra. honestly very underwhelming, most flavors had the same vanilla cream undertone. we got 3 scoops of the the coffee cookies n creme which was not strong. i rly didn't get any richness from the almond brittle, i tried hard to get some almond taste out of it but none. the blue baked bear signature is a cookies n creme with a vibrant hue. they're def known for their cookies + ice cream sandwiches. great spot for hangout but not a top notch ice cream comparable to other parlors around.

The Baked Bear is one of our favorite places to stop by for a treat when in Tahoe! They've got some great options for ice cream flavors, and it goes so well with a warm cookie! Definitely a go-to when in South Lake Tahoe!

We spent money getting a sandwich and this place won't even give you a small cup of water for a child. Thanks for responding to my review, Rebekah. First of all, we did not request "free" bottled water and I am well aware those bottles cost. I recall lot of different drinks in your refrigerator but not water. Second, we asked for a cup of water from the sink that was right in front of us. Many businesses, star bucks and other ice cream places, are happy to offer water when we have requested in the past. This response was so absurd for us we couldn't believe our ears. Third, you will take the feedback and choose to improve your customer service or you won't. It's up to you. There are several other kind and friendly ice cream places. We are happy to go there.

My friends and I were feeling a bit of a sweet tooth after our dinner meal, and I stumbled across this little dessert shop that was walking distance from where we ate. It reminded me of CREAM, but they had more variety in what you could order. The place was decently sized, a tad small, but not a big deal. The employees working were very friendly and inviting. It's nice to see a smile on their face! I opted for the ice cream sandwich, choosing half cookies n cream and half Nutella for my cookie. The ice cream, I went with dark chocolate. I love dark chocolate, so I thought the ice cream was not too bad. I kind of wished the dark chocolate flavor was a bit more intense, but it was still delicious! The cookies and cream cookie were good. Not too sweet. The Nutella cookie was decent. I personally did not like the salt that was on top of it. I think it would taste better without the sea salt. But overall, not a bad dessert shop!

Went in thinking I was getting the caramel pretzel ice cream but my mind was changed after tasting a couple others. I went with the blackberry crumble on a cookies and cream cookie and a snickerdoodle cookie. Cookies are smaller than I expected but the portion of ice cream is decent. There was no line on a late September weekday.

Located on 50, next to Margarita villa, near all the newer shops, right before Stateline, is The Baked Bear. The service is always good and there is always a line. The Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches are very elevated. The cookies are very soft and fresh. The ice cream is very creamy and flavorful. My daughter and wife love this place.

First time here and the ice cream was really good! The workers were not patient at all every customer that was behind us asked for a minute to look at menu and they looked mad. They weren't very friendly and they were on their phones and didn't even wash their hands after to serve ice cream. They seem like they didn't want to be here which is bothering. I won't think of coming here again it was two girls one with blonde braids and clear glasses and the other one had reddish curly hair. Disappointed.
