"Finding Wonderland in Seoul Step through a flower shop and into this swanky bar in the buzzing Gangnam area and you’ll forget you’re in a major Asian capital city—you’ll think you’ve fallen down a rabbit hole and ended up in an English country manor. With dark wood accents, chandeliers and tufted footstools, you’ll wish you had a tweed hat and a pipe, but what you can have is a fine scotch or a gin and tonic to occupy your hands. Choose a drink from the signature cocktail list, which are served in whimsical glasses, then press a button which makes another drink magically appear. It it’s a whimsical, eclectic evening you’re after, it’s time to introduce yourself to Alice. 47, Dosandaero 55-gil, Gangnam-gu"

Through the flower shop downstairs. Recommend reservations. I did not have a res but I went right when it opened and got lucky to sneak in for one cocktail at bar seating. ₩10,000 cover charge but you get a basket of drinking snacks, a refreshing welcome mini cocktail, and a farewell little gift. The menu is so fun and whimsical. Each drink has a creative twist and theme where it's clear theyre very thoughtful with the details of each drink. Highly recommend if you like cocktails. The service is fantastic as well.

Top top tier place! Great cocktails, great vibes. You pay automatically a bit extra for service, a welcome drink and some snacks. The cocktails are all very tasty and the presentation superb! The Alice in wonderland theme across the bar is really cool as well, with snippets of the movie playing on the wall! The staff are all very professional, friendly and speak English.

We loved this bar so much! The ambiance is super nice, being a speakeasy bar that has the theme of Alice in Wonderland. The cocktails are very creative and delicious🍹 The bar tenders are extremely friendly and helpful, giving us drink recommendations depending on our preferences and even making us drinks that were not part of the menu (shoutout to Naked in the Rain - such a good drink🤤). It is expensive but definitely worth the price. Great experience and an absolute must when in Seoul!

This bar alone makes me not want to trust the Asia top 50 ranking anymore! Decided to check out Alice given that it was on the Asia’s top 50 bar list and was so disappointed. It’s a flower shop speakeasy, and two staff members watched me press at random walls for a good 5 mins without beckoning me to come inside to their bar. Had to stand there and google where the door was after giving up. The worst part was, before the bartender even introduced the cocktails, they told us there was a cover charge of KRW 10,000 per pax and if we broke a glass, we would have to pay for it. Such a turn off. We had one drink each and left as quickly as we could. The starting experience was so distasteful that i cant even remember/comment on the cocktail!

Alice in Cheongdam is a charming speakeasy-style bar inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Making a reservation online requires an upfront payment, which becomes your cover charge and includes a selection of small snacks. The bartenders were incredibly welcoming, and the hidden bathroom entrance was such a fun surprise — I never would’ve found it on my own! It truly feels like a journey down the rabbit hole. I’d definitely visit again. 🐇

Such a unique Alice in Wonderland themed bar. Service staff and bartenders are all so friendly. Atmosphere was good. Not too noisy and dim light creating a cosy atmosphere. Include a service charge of 10K KRW which includes a welcome drink (also delicious!) and snacks. Had one of their drinks from the special menu and it was amazing. Reservation in advance recommended. Otherwise walk in will have a bit of a wait.

This was honestly the bar that impressed me the most in Seoul. Our bartender friend Stephen was incredibly helpful with everything. We had amazing cocktails—not just in terms of taste, but the whole experience was outstanding. From the speakeasy-style entrance to the hidden doors leading to the restroom and smoking area, everything followed a clever Down the Rabbit Hole / Alice in Wonderland theme. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, the flavors were fantastic, and the decor and overall ambiance were of the highest quality. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. We’re so grateful for everything and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Seoul. It’s an experience not to be missed.
