"Shred or be shredded. Sixth Avenue is an air-conditioned skate park filled to the brim with ramps. Skateboarders, roller-bladers & bikers are welcome. Heck, they're even cool if you have a scooter (but I wouldn't recommend it). If you're on vacay and you happen to bring your board, skates or bike with you, then Sixth Ave should be stop number one on your trip. The park offers both indoor and outdoor options with helmet rental if you left yours at home. Catch a skate demo, attend a camp, buy some custom Sixth Ave memorabilia, eat some pizza and sweat. There's also a fully stocked skate store with everything from shoes, wheels and decks, to party shades. Saturdays, 9am to 12am, is open to the 12 and under crowd. It's a good time to teach the seeds how to come up in the skate game. Watch out... the young'ns will snake you, hard. Anyone looking to skate indoors, this is your place. You need to wear a helmet and you'll pay to skate by the hour, but you can rent a helmet for a couple of bucks and it isn't a bad price. My only issue with the park is how slick it is. I tried cutting left like I'd do at any other park and had my board slid out from under me, but I know this can be fixed by getting certain wheels and practicing at the park itself. Overall, it has an amazing atmosphere with super cool workers and a cafe/hangout next door for when you aren't skating. Would recommend trying it out on a weekday so you can test the waters without a big crowd.

New location from when I skated about 15 years ago a little smaller than I remember but more Friendly people and environment my son loved it halfpipe is awesome pretty pricy but understandable due to how so many Californians moving to TN and paying way over value jacking up everyone's property taxes. Other than that will for sure be going back every weekend.

Great mini-ramp to skate. Mellow and smooth! It's a good height too. 5ish, to 6 and one 7 foot section. It can be a little slick. Just put on some softer wheels and it's all good. Definitely recommend!

Awesome indoor skatepark. We come to Nashville a couple times a year. This is always one of our first stops. Highly recommend very nice clean family friendly environment.

We had a great time here for my son's 10th birthday. Clean place, friendly staff, sweet shop stocked with lots of goodies. They are currently limiting skaters in the park due to Covid, but that was perfect for our little dudes. Couldn't have had a better experience.

Great place They are all helpful and kind. Place is clean and organized. Lots of activities going on. They even have a tourist service where you can leave your suitcases here if you have checked out of your hotel and are still wandering around Nashville

This place is great, they welcome bmx and it's a great park. Super friendly staff. Respectful riders, kids day is hectic (my son is 6) but most of the kids don't understand the rules of the skate park and just fly in front of people. Early afternoon is the best times if you have kids. They have a soda bar and a shop (which mostly caters to skaters). But it's a cool park and great for the winter months.

Really great place to skate, especially when the weather is not so nice. I recently took lessons which were really reasonably priced and extremely helpful. Dane was really great to make the lessons whatever I wanted and was really encouraging. Now I have plenty to practice in the park and feel comfortable doing it. They also have great deals in the shop from time to time with floor shoe sales and the fabulous $10 bin that gets restocked from time to time. And they keep everything pretty well stocked. Everyone I've encountered there has been competent and helpful and it definitely feels like a judgment free zone.

Best skatepark in Nashville and it's indoors out of the weather. Part of the big Rocketown building which also has lots of cool rocking concerts! Buy a skateboard in the skate shop or bring your own. If you are a beginner come practice at the slow times. If you're a slamming skateboarder come and compete!

It was a pretty nice skatepark and it has indoor and outdoor. Kids not wearing pads, saw couple of them falling bad. They're pretty fast and good skateboarders so be aware if yours is just decent, they could run him over!

Sixth Ave is where I learned to skate and where I found a home in the most accepting community had I not gone to sixth Ave I prolly wouldn't be the person I am to today.
