📍Taquito, Carlton - 3.9 ⭐️ out of 5. Yummy cute tacos here at Taquito with CEVICHE OF THE WEEK EACH AND EVERY WEEK (I am a huge ceviche fan if you can’t tell). We had the: ➖Papas fritas - twice cooked potatoes with salsa roga ($18) ➖2 flights of tacos ($30 each, 4 tacos per flight) The salsa roja on the potatoes was sooo yum and they were super generous with the amount of sauce! The potatoes were crispy and delicious and it was a great sized serving! I’ve tried multiple tacos here and honestly like them all! I also love how they always give you some hot sauce. The tacos are a little small, but I love this means you can then get different types to share. Maybe a little spenny for $30 for 4, but not outrageously. I’ve also had the ceviche here (obvs) and the guacamole and chips and have liked them all. Super fun vibe with a bar at the front and more seating at the back. Lovely staff. A bit spenny but as to be expected in Carlton. Overall 3.9 ⭐️ out of 5.

It took me 10mins to figure out how to log into google and leave this review but that’s how much I love eating at Taquito. Foods 10/10- steak night is where it’s at. Drinks are amazing- coconut margarita slaps. Take your mum, grandma, sister, best friends or girlfriend here. You won’t regret it.

Lucky enough to go on Monday night for $5 tacos. They were amazing. We had all the meat ones and the flavours were superb. The guacamole was perfect and the goat Quesabirria; something we’ve never had before was delicious. Our waiter was also excellent and fun. So this was perfect and probably too cheap!

Service was exceptionally friendly, we order the siesta as we wanted to indulge for date night. Every dish was delicious and great portions. Our least favourite was the steak as delicious it could be, steak is always hard to get right anywhere in Melbourne. Overall the food was very tasty and putting the house made hot sauce was 👌!

Terrific service! Not sure of the bloke’s name but his goofiness was through the roof. Addictive corn ribs & guac! One of the corniest corn tortillas chip I’ve ever had. Same goes for the taco wraps, but filling tasted cold and dry. Vibes were immaculate, had a DJ playing Kaytranada.

Great Mexican-inspired food, one of the best in Melbourne, no doubt! The flavors were bold and creative, blending traditional Mexican ingredients with a modern twist. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the presentation was spot-on. The tacos were a standout, full of flavor and freshness. The ambiance was lively and welcoming, making it a fantastic spot for a casual night out. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for quality Mexican-inspired cuisine in the city

Awesome restaurant. I’ve been here twice now and the food is still as good as the last time I visited them. My favorite dish is always their papas fritas. I don’t know what they put in it, but it’s so addictive and really good. The tacos are awesome as always, but they do run on the smaller side. So if you feel quite peckish I recommend ordering a flight of tacos (4 tacos) for yourself. They also have awesome margaritas and I recommend sitting in the downstairs area. I really enjoyed my visit. Will definitely come back again.

The atmosphere is deserving of quite a few stars. With the local woollies across the road and some great music coming from the speakers on the windows ledge preaching that you can not judge a book by looking at the cover. Mondays are 5 dollar tacos, all day, so order a few and seal the deal with some drinks if your budget allows it. Service is happy, Australian, and with many vibrations. The expectations for the quality of the spread after arrival and seating are quite high. Anything under 4 Stars would be disappointing. I can't say how much the chef will love making your tacos. What I can say is one person should order for the table, let's say the coalition leader while the rest bicker over drinks. 🐟 leaves no work for the intestines, 🐔 was braised for a little too long, 🐑 is not present on the menu, 🐖 was paired with cola,🐄 was forgotten in a bite.
