Listen up. Do yourself a favour and enjoy this wonderful spot - don’t mess around. Service was absolutely on point and of course the food was there. We slammed back the guacamole, shrimp and mahi mahi tacos, brisket volcano (or whatever that’s called) and the fried fish. Jeeze Louise the value for your DOLLARS? Come again.

We were surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating because we loved it! The food was really good - my favorite was the black ceviche and the blackened shrimp taco. The brisket volcano was also delicious. It all tasted fresh and each dish was different. Honestly everything we ordered was good! The servers were super attentive, checking in and clearing dishes away immediately. And the atmosphere was perfect - we sat outside on a quiet tree lined street but inside was really charming and cozy. We were surprised there wasn't more people there! Highly recommend.

Excelente! In a city with a million restaurants, we chose Marea three days in a row. Once for lunch, twice for dinner. The service was superb; warm, relaxed, & professional. The ambiance was lovely, we dined on the terrace and enjoyed views of both the street and the restaurant. And then there was the food - which was outstanding. Fresh and fabulous - amazing spices but the flavour of the fish always shone through, cooked to perfection. We worked our way through most of the appetizers (and several mains) and would have kept going had we stayed in town. I will forever dream about their ceviche, and spicy margaritas.

Excellent service and delicious seafood in very cozy atmosphere. It was our preferred restaurant while visiting in Mexico City.

i’ve been here 3 times and each time the food has been DELICIOUS and the service has been the BEST IN TOWN. truly a gem of a restaurant and one of my favorite spots in CDMX. don’t miss the fried + blackened shrimp tacos!! everything is a 10/10

This restaurant is perfect. I had such a wonderful lunch sitting outside on a beautiful afternoon. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The food! Amazing. And so many other dishes that I want to try. Next time!

It’s not quite “move over contramar” but it’s close :) they try to do a spin on classics, and the spicy poke as well smoked fish tostadas are indeed really good. Other items I didn’t enjoy as much — both crudo and little fried fish were a bit too tough to chew through although they had good flavor. Tacos and the shrimps over a bed of corn were delicious and I’d order them again. Loved their drinks and service. Definitely worth a visit at least once!

This was my favourite dining experience in Mexico City. The food was excellent: creative, with a variety of flavours. The desert of banana, cream and dulce leche was the perfect finish (not too heavy). Waiters were great, nice ambiance. An easy and enjoyable place to dine on my own.
