We stayed at the W Doha for 8 days on a breakfast-only board, and overall it was a largely pleasant and enjoyable experience. The hotel has a great atmosphere and the staff were generally attentive and welcoming. Upon request, the team also arranged a special welcome in our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture that set a positive tone at the start of our stay. Additionally, they kindly accommodated a late checkout for us, which was extremely helpful given that our flight was later in the evening. While there were a few minor issues during our stay, credit really goes to the management—especially Omar—who handled everything professionally and efficiently. He was genuinely receptive to our feedback and took prompt action to rectify the concerns we raised, which made a noticeable difference to our experience. We also appreciated that he listened carefully to our suggestion about adding more variety to the breakfast menu. Breakfast itself was good, though additional variety would enhance it further for longer stays. That said, the quality was consistently solid. A special mention goes to the Italian restaurant at the hotel, which was excellent. The food was outstanding and the service was equally impressive—definitely a highlight of our stay and well worth visiting.

Having stayed at multiple W Hotels and other Marriott properties across different countries, W Doha truly exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally luxurious. The staff provided outstanding service, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. The location is also excellent and very convenient. Easily one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Highly recommended.

I just spent 2 nights at the W Doha. The location was fantastic, easy walking distance to the beach, shops, transport. The breakfast options at the buffet were a little more limited than I am used at the W, but the Cinnabon was the best I have ever eaten! The room was fantastic, spacious, and the bed was super comfy. The Shower was amazing! The best thing about staying at the W Doha was the service. Especially Tarik at the front desk. They go above and beyond to make sure that you have a fantastic stay! I would definitely stay here again!

Florina made my stay at W Hotel truly special. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful with everything, especially receiving my gifts. Her thoughtful gesture of bringing me her birthday cake meant a lot to me. She treated me wonderfully and truly represents excellent hospitality.

A nice hotel with selected l staff being amazingly kind; the Italian restaurant was a delight and the female staff was very attentive and kind. Thanks to you ladies! :) though some improvements are; the smell in the room (light lingering smoke smell), brighter light in the bathroom would be very welcomed, the breakfast quality is average (here i expected way better quality & taste), it all feels packed & small (I’m used to bigger lobbies and a better space-decoration-ratio); the male staff could be more attentive (nothing personal buy the ladies had here obviously the upper hand)

So I had a one night free time and wanted to enjoy a luxury and fancy night so a friend recommended this hotel. Wow believe me it’s not what is looks! The suite I booked smelled like an ashtray and I had to see all four suites to find a clean suite which I didn’t. So I went to the night manager Omar Ahmed to help me cancel the reservation as I came at 6 pm and decided to leave 6.30 pm because of the unhealthy rooms they have. I understand there are certain policies Hotels have but in great hotels management tend to find solutions. For example take half the payment if not make a refund with reasonable fees. Omar basically didn’t care much to find a solution and didn’t even bother to try. In the end I understood what it means to always book with the best customer service hotels such as Four seasons. No comparison between them one with impeccable high quality and the other ashtray like hotels. That’s my experience and it’s the last one with this chain of hotels. Note: I didn’t stayed that night and left the hotel. All it took is 30 minutes to know how that’s not luxurious hotel.
