Pasta Night

Love love love this place! Always a great vibe, with big family dinner energy; think giant plates of homemade seasonal pasta, meatballs the size of a baby’s head, and cheese-pullicious mozzarella sticks. It’s like having a gay nonna on Vanderbilt who does drag nights and makes a killer martinis. Brunch is fantastic, with all the regular hits and hot honey pizzas. Just perfect all around.

This is officially my new go-to Italian spot in Brooklyn. The fresh pasta dishes were both affordable and tasty, with fast, friendly service. I ordered the Caesar salad, meatballs, focaccia, butternut squash carbonara, and the vodka sauce. Every single dish was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

I was really disappointed in my delivery. The meal cost almost $80 and they forgot my salad. Also the vodka sauce pasta was very dry and there was hardly any sauce. I would not serve this to friends; we all agreed this was a poor example of vodka sauce pasta. I’ve gotten pasta here before and enjoyed my meal so I wonder if this was just a kitchen mishap. The portion sizes are very small for the price.

I had an amazing meal at Pasta Night! The Chicken Milanese was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor—definitely one of the best I’ve had. The pesto pasta was just as impressive, bursting with fresh flavors that made each bite delicious. The only small letdown was that they didn’t bring bread to the table, which is usually a given at most Italian restaurants. Still, a great spot for anyone craving mouthwatering Italian!

I had heard really good things about this spot and decided to go to dinner with a friend tonight. Very nice, quaint ambiance with indoor and covered area in the back. Good wine selection, yummy food that came quickly! High recommend the arancini, Caeser salad, bolognese and gnocchi! Would def come back and they have happy hour!

PHENOMENAL pasta I mean this place truly rivals the west village Italian institutions like via carota and l’artusi. The beef arancini was perfectly crispy without being too heavy. The salad was so unique and full of flavor. The pasta was fresh with perfect texture and shape. I couldn’t be happier that I live within walking distance. I love ciao Gloria and they made another hit with this one, bravo!

Saw this place on instagram and decided to give it a try. Glad I came with my husband because the food is amazing! We ordered the gem salad and calamari for appetizers. The salad was fresh and the calamari came with this sauce that reminded me of Combos (pretzel with the cheese inside) 10/10. For entrees we order the pesto and braised short rib pappardelle, both dishes were very tasty. We also liked the format of ordering everything at the counter before being sat, saved a lot of unnecessary time and our food came quite fast. Drinks were light and refreshing. Definitely would recommend coming here.

Me and my gals hit up Pasta Night week one of its opening and WOWEE were we oh-so-pleasantly surprised! The food was top notch Italian pasta, truly something that’s been missing from Vanderbilt Ave. The Ragu was my personal favorite, but we were all fighting over the last bites of each dish! The service was speedy and the staff was so fun and kind. Huge shout out to our host with the most, Mac, who made us feel right at home! Can’t wait to go back soon☺️
