Chrisopigi Monastery

A beautiful church with a lovely vibe! We didn’t go inside because there was a wedding, but you can enjoy a great view from afar. There’s a nice walk that leads down to a nearby beach, which is absolutely amazing. A couple of parking spots are available, making it convenient. Perfect spot for a mix of sightseeing and beach time!

Beautiful church overlooking Chrisopigi beach. You walk like in a dream along the path to the sea. A gem and a must see. The beach nearby is really nice with transparent and clean waters. You can walk/swim quite far until it gets deep. Perfect for families with kids.

5 stars are not enough. Trully amazing view! The church is not big, but it is clean and very welcoming. The waters around the church are crystal clear. It is perfect for a quick visit, before or after your swimm!

Beautiful church, the walk from Fassolou Beach takes about 30 minutes and is absolutely worth it !

Sheer natural beauty together with a tiny place for meditation in front of the new and interesting icon of Mother Mary (unique in the name of Chrisopigi). Unexpected bonus a great spot for adventurous swimming and discovery. Great food at the tavern next to the nearby beach.

An experience of its own. A wonderful church built on top of a rock that offers a wonderful experience and has a lot of lores and tales to tell! ❤️ You can also opt for taking a swim besides as there are certain rock formations that allow for that. The church itself is wonderful both outside and inside. There is a free parking space right before it.

Lovely church, the best on the island. Can be visited inside, which is often an exception on the islands. Worth the visit.

Chrysopigi is a unique picturesque church and monastery. Truly great site to visit and photo op. I came here for the first time in 1977 as a teenager. Still love it as I did the first day I experienced it. Great beach a few hundred meters north of it.
