The smallest park in Richmond gives the impression of being a green oasis in the middle of the city. The tall buildings that surround it block out the traffic noise of the too many cars in Richmond, and you get the feeling of being in an oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. I really like reading there early in the morning when it's still a deserted place! In the evening, it becomes a meeting place for many groups and is a cuddle paradise for lovers ❤️, before serving as an excursion destination for 🍃 lovers, guitarists, hackey sack players, dog owners and many more in the afternoon. Culturally, I think it's one of the most important places in Richmond.

One of the coolest places in RVA. As ironic as this is scuffletown is the place to come, unplug, and just enjoy where you are. The coolest mix of people. A local market near by for snacks and an ice cream shop around the corner. Don’t be a jerk so please clean up after yourself. One of the few inner city places were you feel like you’ve truly gotten away!

peaceful queer + punk populated park. every single time I have visited, I have left with one more friend than I had before. everyone is very friendly and I really feel like it is the heart of the community here in the fan. truly a pleasant and open-minded place.

This place has got such a feel of life to it, and I love it. These pocket parks really keep The Fan alive and well, and this one might be my favorite. This one even sports a small community garden, making it all the better.

Beautiful pocket park in the Fan. Just heard music on a Tuesday night, which was the last for the event's organizer, Patrick. But others will keep performing. Great place to do yoga, read, eat ice cream from Scoop on Strawberry St. In a lovely garden you can admire, my friend grows herbs and edible flowers, along with figs from her yard tree. The group garden is not a free come-pick- garden, however. The planters pay a city fee and put in lots of work in to feed themselves from their plots. The pollinating butterflies and bees are cool to watch on flowers.

This has to be the cutest little park. It's tucked sway in a perfect spot. I have only been at night and I will say the vibes are unmatched. There are two gated grass areas, picnic tables, and a garden. I look forward to coming back in the day time with my kids.

Happy Earth Month! Scuffletown Park is a local's favorite. This hidden gem is right in between Strawberry st. and Stafford ave. Lots of locals love to have picnics and drinks in this tiny park. It's a very charming section of the Fan. Most people will either grab a drink from Strawberry Market or ice cream from Scoop and eat it here. Other options are Mexican takeout from Blue Habanero or pizza from 8 1/2. There is a cute community garden at one end of the park. They have a compost bin which is awesome. There are some benches, tables, and a good amount of green space to sit down. I love to meet up with friends, read a book, play music, or picnic here. This is probably one of my favorite parks we have.

Scuffletown is a cute pocket park located in an alley. There are ample benches and lovely foliage and plants. Not much else, but a nice stop if you're taking a walk. It's usually pretty quiet.

Another green blob on the map, Scuffletown Park is very well hidden in the middle of a bunch of row houses and some very narrow one-way alleys. Worth the hunt if you're anywhere in the area, this park is quiet and comfortable. Shaded by trees and buildings, there are benches and tables. Nice little (and little is the key word) gem of a park. It is possible that there is parking here, but I could not confirm what's open and what's private. [Review 11984 overall, 1767 of 2019.]

Cute little narrow park with grassy area to sit and hang ( dogs not allowed in grassy area) lots of benches to sit at. People tend to picnic here and often someone is playing some kind of instrument. Love that's it's hidden
