"Reggae Sumfest Held in July of every year, Jamaica’s most popular concert series, as popular as Jamaica Jazz, attracts a more “contemporary” lineup of American artists, alongside top reggae acts. Past shows have included acts such as Usher, Rihanna, and Damian Marley, in one weekend. A four-day, all night musical bash—with one night dedicated to dancehall music—Sumfest attracts thousands of tourists every year and is only getting bigger. It’s worth planning your trip around either Sumfest or Jamaica Jazz—neither disappoints. Book your hotel rooms early. Concert tickets start selling over six months in advance!"

The venue was cramped partially due to the chairs but overall it was great

30th Anniversary of Reggae Sumfest on Saturday night, favorites included Tanya Stephens, King Jammy Tribute with Chaka Demus and so many Dancehall legends. Freddie McGregor and his sons were such a treat. Couldn't last past 5am, but the venue was great, multiple food and drink options available. VIP was definitely the way to go, and the giant screens provided a great view from many locations! What a treat to get to be part of history!
