Visiting Salumeria Simoni felt less like a quick stop for food and more like stepping into a temple of flavour. The place is warm, fragrant, and buzzing with that effortless Italian charm. I wandered between the displays of cheeses and cured meats, each one more tempting than the last, until the staff—friendly in that confident, “we know you’ll love this” way—guided me toward a few selections. I ended up buying cheese and some incredible meat specialties, all sliced with care and offered with a smile. Leaving the shop with my little bundle of flavours felt like carrying a piece of Bologna itself.
